After creating his Water God Avatar, Ailin left the two High-level Divine Weapons he had forged with his Death God Avatar.
A Mid-level God was considered powerful in the Brinia Plane, but to be safe, he still left the divine weapons behind. Nothing could happen to his Death God Avatar.
The Water God Avatar was now strong enough to venture out on its own.
Besides, he could find sufficient materials to forge divine weapons in the Divine Plane.
He even left his Space Ring with his Main Body and Death God Avatar. The Sovereign Spark was inside the Space Ring. Since he only had one Space Ring, he naturally would not take it with him.
Once everything was prepared, Ailin's Water God Avatar flew directly out of Ailin Island and began reinforcing the previous "divine power defense" outside the island.
After raising Ailin Island's defenses to their limit, Ailin no longer hesitated. He turned into a streak of light and flew toward Wind Thunder Mountain.
Wind Thunder Mountain was an exceptionally special mountain in the Brinia Plane. Located in the sea beyond the northern part of the Brinia Continent, it was an isolated mountain island far out at sea. Moreover, violent wind blades filled the area around the island mountain. Even Level Nine warriors could not safely pass through those wind blades.
Traveling from Ailin Island to Wind Thunder Mountain practically required crossing the entire Brinia Continent.
Glancing down at the Brinia Continent below, Ailin could not help but miss the days when he had first ventured across it. Without realizing it, nearly a million years had already passed. In his previous life, that would have been an unimaginably long span of time.
But here, once one immersed oneself in cultivation, time seemed to lose all meaning.
Many times, Ailin thought only a short while had passed, yet after ending his cultivation, he would discover that hundreds, thousands, or even tens of thousands of years had gone by. If not for cultivation, spending a million years as he had in his previous life would likely have driven him mad.
Those past experiences flashed through his mind in an instant and did not give rise to any further thoughts.
Swoosh~
Although the Water Law Ailin cultivated was not suited for speed, at his level—and in a Material Plane—his speed was still terrifying.
Before long, Ailin crossed the entire Brinia Continent, entered the North Sea Region, and arrived at Wind Thunder Mountain.
From afar, the towering mountain resembled a sharp sword piercing straight from the sea toward the heavens. The wind blades around it were visible to the naked eye, all circling Wind Thunder Mountain. The wind blades also stirred up countless massive waves, their howling crashes unceasing. The mist thrown into the air added a hazy glow to the area. It could be considered one of the Brinia Plane's "wondrous sights."
These wind blades were powerful, but they did not affect Ailin in the slightest.
Ailin passed directly through the wind blades and flew toward the mountaintop with practiced ease.
Just as Ailin passed through the wind blades and before he reached the summit, an elderly man in white robes flew over from nearby. The instant the old man saw Ailin, he hurriedly bowed slightly. "Hamdan greets Mr. Ailin."
This Hamdan was the Plane Guardian of the Brinia Plane and the person who had once been controlled by a Soul Seed.
As the Plane Guardian of the Brinia Plane, he could immediately detect anyone who came to Wind Thunder Mountain. Upon discovering Ailin, he naturally came out personally to receive him.
"Hamdan."
Ailin had not concealed himself, so Hamdan could naturally detect him. Otherwise, with Hamdan's strength as a Mid-level God, he would have been unable to discover Ailin.
"I did not know you were coming and failed to welcome you in advance. Please forgive me, sir."
Hamdan was extremely respectful toward Ailin. "Please come to my cottage and rest for a while, sir."
He could practically be said to have watched Ailin grow step by step, from the beginning as a Saint Domain expert, to becoming a god later on, and even finally killing his former master—all in less than two thousand years!
Even throughout the Divine Plane, Ailin was the most talented existence Hamdan had ever seen.
Now that nearly a million more years had passed, with Ailin's talent, his strength was surely even more terrifying.
Although Ailin was much younger than him, strength reigned supreme in this world. Moreover, Ailin had killed Hamdan's former master, indirectly saving him and earning his gratitude. Hamdan had originally intended to address Ailin as Lord, but Ailin had ultimately asked him to call him "sir."
Every ten thousand years or several tens of thousands of years, he would visit Ailin Island to call on Ailin, while also passing along news from the Divine Plane.
At the same time, to repay Ailin's kindness, he secretly supported the Duncan Family's development. There was no need for him to do much; as long as he hinted at it to some of the God-level figures in the plane, no one would dare obstruct the Duncan Family's rise.
However, Ailin had never taken the initiative to seek him out before, so he did not know what this was about.
"There is no need to sit. I came here this time because I am preparing to head to the Divine Plane. Come with me to the summit and activate the Teleportation Array."
Since Ailin had already decided to go to the Divine Plane, he wanted to leave as soon as possible. Aside from cultivating his Death God Avatar, he also wanted to venture out and witness the splendor of this world.
"Ah?"
Hearing that Ailin was going to the Divine Plane, Hamdan was greatly surprised. "You are leaving, sir?"
In truth, not long after Ailin reached the Saint Domain, Hamdan had sought him out, but Ailin had not wished to go to the Divine Plane. Even after becoming a god, he had never shown any intention of going there.
Gradually, Hamdan stopped bringing up the matter on his own.
He had not expected Ailin to suddenly decide to leave without any warning.
"That's right. If not for Pavlos back then, I might have gone to the Divine Plane when I was still a Mid-level God."
Ailin spoke directly. "Having delayed for so long, it is time to venture through the Divine Plane."
Pavlos was the name of that Death Rule High God from back then.
What Ailin said was not false. If that fellow had not tried to control him with a Soul Seed, he truly might have gone to the Divine Plane long ago. But if he had left the Brinia Plane back then, even if his luck had been heaven-defying and he had survived, growing to his present level, he certainly would not have obtained the Sovereign Spark.
One could only say that the ways of the world were unpredictable.
Hamdan nodded as well. Although he had been controlled by Pavlos's Soul Seed back then, he retained all his memories and knew what had happened.
From what he understood, after Ailin killed Pavlos, the reason he had not immediately left seemed to be because he had gained some sort of enlightenment during the battle and then entered seclusion.
As for why he had not left afterward, Hamdan did not know.
"With your strength, sir, you will surely make a name for yourself even in the Divine Plane," Hamdan said.
This was not flattery, but an extremely sincere thought. After all, he came from a God Plane. Though he was only a Mid-level God, he was also a member of the Sovereign's Army and knew quite a bit about the God Planes.
Ailin had been able to kill Pavlos, who was also a High-God. That alone was enough to prove Ailin's strength. In the God Planes, anyone capable of killing another High-God was considered powerful. Even within the Sovereign's Army, such a person could easily serve as a captain.
Most importantly, he had truly never seen anyone whose cultivation could compare to Ailin's.
Ailin paid no mind to Hamdan's "flattery." "Let's go. Activate the Teleportation Array."
"Please follow me, sir."
Hamdan then took the lead and flew toward the mountaintop.
As they drew closer to the summit, the entire mountain became shrouded in mist, with lightning occasionally flashing through the clouds.
Wind Thunder Mountain had gotten its name for that reason.
Before long, Hamdan and Ailin arrived at a platform atop the mountain.
There was a large Magic Array on the platform. Every Magic Array was covered in incomparably intricate patterns; even a master of Magic Arrays would likely be unable to discern their purpose.
"May I ask which plane you wish to travel to, sir?"
Hamdan asked.
Looking at the Teleportation Array, Ailin said directly, "The Death Supreme Plane."
If not for his Death God Avatar and Sovereign Spark, he would most likely have gone to the Water God Plane. But now, the Netherworld was the destination he had already decided upon. The Netherworld had the greatest number of experts cultivating the Death Law. Only by fighting such people could he gain the greatest help in cultivating the Death Law.
