"Calm down, Kimota. First, find out who this child's parents are! What will you say if King Vegeta asks?"
Kimota calmed down at that, and he and the Saiyan in the lead began searching the records for Lin Feng's parents!
"Gasp!"
"H-how is this possible?"
"Xuesaiya and Barota. This child is theirs!"
Unlike her younger sister Xueseli, Xuesaiya was only an Intermediate Warrior among the Saiyan women. Barota, though an Elite Saiyan, was one of the strongest Saiyans.
But...
Several months ago, Barota had already fallen in battle on Canglu Planet.
Looking at Lin Feng, an orphan from birth, in the pod, they sighed softly.
By Saiyan custom, the level of force on a planet to which an infant was sent was determined by the infant's Power Level. Saiyans revered combat, and though they would never send their young to a planet where they were certain to die,
the Saiyans were, after all, a warlike people. The more talented a Saiyan infant was, the more difficult the mission assigned to them on the various planets would be—far beyond what an ordinary lower-middle-rank Saiyan could handle.
But the balance of power on a planet was constantly changing, and there was no guarantee that a powerful warrior from across the universe wouldn't show up.
So, quite a few Saiyan parents without missions would secretly watch over their children and protect them through their earliest days, while also eliminating any top-level warriors on the planet who posed a mortal threat to Saiyan infants.
