"By the way, Bulma, how are the flight route and the spaceship you mentioned earlier coming along?"
Bulma wiped the corner of Vitelli's mouth, flashed an "OK" sign with a smile, and then added a large helping of food to his plate before replying:
"Don't worry! The plan is going smoothly! I've already discussed it with Dad via communicator; Mom has started purchasing high-quality farms and seeds on Earth, and Dad is in charge of building the large cargo ship. I might have to head back to Earth in a while to personally finalize some key technical parameters and equipment."
She paused, remembering something:
"Oh, right! That spaceship you brought back from Planet Soph—I had Dad carefully inspect it and crack the navigation system. The star charts stored inside are incredibly complete and detailed! Didn't you say you needed star charts to use Instant Transmission? It just so happens that I can bring the backup data back for you when I return."
Vitelli's eyes lit up at the news, and he quickly swallowed the food in his mouth:
"Thank you, Bulma! With detailed star coordinates to go along with Instant Transmission, traveling will be so much more convenient from now on!"
He thought for a moment and said, "Let me know once you've set a time, and I'll use Instant Transmission to accompany you back to Earth. You know Earth's coordinates, right?"
Bulma happily leaned over, planted a kiss on Vitelli's cheek, and giggled:
"Thanks, honey! Having you as my chauffeur is just too convenient!"
The hearty lunch ended with the speed of a whirlwind.
Beerus leaned back against his chair, satisfied, letting out a burp while lazily picking his teeth with a toothpick.
Suddenly, as if thinking of something, he rubbed his slightly rounded belly and muttered:
"If I keep going like this, am I going to get fat? No, no... Whis, arrange the schedule later; I need to get to work and stretch my limbs."
Hearing this, Whis covered his mouth and let out his signature "ho ho ho" laugh, his tone laced with a hint of mockery:
"Lord Beerus actually wants to work of his own accord? The sun must be rising in the west; this is truly rare~~"
He paused, adding with a touch of pride:
"However... there isn't really any work left~ The planets that needed dealing with are just scraps now."
Beerus felt a bit embarrassed by the laughter, glared at him, and retorted:
"Enough nonsense! I remember before I went to sleep, you clearly said there was a huge pile of planets waiting to be cleared! How could there suddenly be no work? Wait! Could it be..."
His expression shifted abruptly, as if he had thought of an extremely terrifying possibility. He sat bolt upright, eyes wide, and said:
"Could it be that Grand Zeno sent someone to clear them for me? Are they blaming me for not being diligent enough and planning to... planning to erase me?! And then replace me with someone else?!"
Not to mention anything else, he knew that Vitelli's learning speed was ridiculously fast—he had even touched the threshold of Ultra Instinct.
Was it possible that those above really wanted to replace him?
Whis looked at Beerus, who was scaring himself pale, and finally stopped teasing him.
He chuckled and explained:
"Where is your mind, Lord Beerus? During the time you were asleep, Vitelli-san and I! We have already very efficiently finished dealing with almost all the backlogged work."
"Now, all that remains are a few targets located in the corners of the universe that have little impact and can even be observed for a while longer. The ones in the central star sector have all been cleared by me and Vitelli-san."
Beerus let out a massive sigh of relief:
"Phew... so it was just finishing the work, you scared the—"
But the next second, he snapped to attention, his voice rising in disbelief as he looked at Vitelli, who was leisurely sipping black tea just like Whis:
"What?! You're the one who helped me finish the clearing?! Wait! You've already mastered 'Destruction' to a proficient level?!"
Vitelli set down his teacup with a light, airy touch, his tone as calm as if he were discussing something trivial:
"That's right. I've grasped the core of the God of Destruction power. While I can't say it's perfect yet, it's more than enough to handle the clearing work. As for mastering it perfectly... that's not far off either."
The expression on Beerus's face was a spectacular display of shock, frustration, and a hint of unbelievable bitterness.
Back in his day, how much suffering had he endured to master this energy of destruction!
He... had spent at least several hundred years!
How long had this kid been training?
Less than a year, right? And he was already catching up to his own years of hard work?
"No! This can't go on..."
Beerus muttered to himself, a strong sense of crisis welling up within him.
"If I keep being this lazy, who knows? One day I might actually be surpassed by this kid! Where would I hide my face then?"
His eyes darted around, and he suddenly clutched his stomach, a look of "agony" appearing on his face:
"Ahem... well, since there's nothing that requires my personal attention for the time being, I... I'll go back and rest a bit more. I feel like I ate too fast and it's not digesting well... Vitelli, you're still young and the road ahead is long. Remember to stay humble, avoid arrogance, and keep training hard! I'll definitely pass the seat of God of Destruction to you in the future!"
--But not right now! he added internally.
Without waiting for a response, he flashed away and scurried back to his chambers at top speed.
He had to hurry and find those auxiliary training devices from back in the day to see if they were still usable; he had to start grinding!
Vitelli watched Beerus's back as he practically fled, and said to Whis, somewhat speechless:
"Does he really not get fat, eating and sleeping like that, and occasionally binge-eating when he wakes up? Do Gods of Destruction not have metabolic issues?"
Whis naturally saw through Beerus's little scheme, but he only smiled slightly without exposing him, answering calmly:
"Rest assured, Vitelli, Lord Beerus... knows what he is doing."
After lunch, Vitelli accompanied Bulma for a short nap.
Once he woke up, he sought out Whis again to continue immersing himself in the training of the Ultra Instinct Technique.
He could clearly feel that he was only separated from that more perfect realm by a thin sheet of paper; every sparring session with Whis made that barrier grow even thinner.
"As long as I continue training step by step like this, in a little while, I will surely master the 'Ultra Instinct Technique' naturally!"
"Once I raise my base power to that level as well, I will have the strength to speak with Beerus on equal footing!"
Vitelli was filled with confidence.
At dinner time, the atmosphere was relatively calmer.
During the meal, Vitelli and Whis discussed their upcoming itinerary.
"Whis, I want to make a trip to the Supreme Kai Realm tomorrow," Vitelli said.
"Oh? Is this regarding the promise you made to the Supreme Kai?" Whis asked, clearly understanding the situation.
"Yes."
Vitelli nodded.
"I promised him I would resolve the Majin Buu issue, and I cannot go back on my word. Besides... I can also rescue that Old Supreme Kai who is sealed within the Z Sword."
He rubbed his chin, a glimmer of interest flashing in his eyes.
"I heard that the Old Supreme Kai possesses the ability to unlock potential? I might as well see if he can help me unlock mine. Who knows, maybe I could even unlock the Mystic Form?"
He was quite curious about this, eager to explore whether the so-called "Mystic Form" was truly as he had speculated.
Could it have some connection to "Ultra Instinct," perhaps being a simplified or stripped-down version of it?
"Regardless, there is no harm in going."
Vitelli concluded.
Whis wiped his mouth elegantly and expressed his agreement.
"A very good arrangement, Vitelli. Repairing relations with the Supreme Kai Realm is beneficial to the future of Universe 7. I will prepare the itinerary for you."
After finishing a day of training, Vitelli felt both his body and mind were satisfied.
He prepared to get a good night's sleep to recharge his energy, ready to face the trip to the Supreme Kai Realm tomorrow in peak condition.
However, just as he was holding Bulma and beginning to drift off, she suddenly started acting restless in his arms.
A pair of soft, small hands began to trace circles on his body, and her warm breath brushed against his neck, carrying a subtle, lingering temptation.
"This... I have important business tomorrow."
Vitelli kept his eyes closed, trying to remain calm.
"Business? What business is more important than me?"
Bulma's voice carried a hint of coquettish dissatisfaction, and her movements became even bolder.
"Some guy goes out for over ten days, and after coming back and making up for it only once, you want to get away with it? Hmm?"
Vitelli immediately felt a surge of heat rise within him.
He had intended to get a good night's rest, but this tormenting little enchantress clearly had no intention of letting him off.
"You little demon!"
Vitelli flipped over, pinning Bulma beneath him, his eyes flashing with a dangerous and fiery light.
"Since that's the case, don't blame me for being impolite! Tonight, I will make you see what I'm capable of! I need you to assist me in my cultivation!"
Bulma let out a cry of surprise, which immediately turned into a giggle.
Far from being afraid, she took the initiative to meet him!
"Who's afraid of who! Let's see how this lady handles you!"
A harmonious and beautiful rest period officially began.

Chapter 28: Visiting the Supreme Kai Realm. The Aura of an Old Friend
The Supreme Kai Realm, a mysterious planet that appears magnificent and vast even among the countless stars in the boundless universe.
Living on this planet are the gods known as the Supreme Kais, who wield the miraculous power known as creation.
When the life force in the universe wanes, they sprinkle their divine power to create brand-new planets suitable for life, sowing the seeds of existence.
As for whether life will head toward prosperity or go astray after it is born, that is generally outside the scope of their direct intervention—
Of course, there are occasional exceptions.
For instance, a certain Goku Black who will appear in the future.
Usually, the Supreme Kai Realm is an extremely quiet and peaceful place.
Vast emerald grasslands, crystal-clear lakes, towering yet gentle mountains, and all manner of strange, docile creatures that inhabited this place, enjoying a life of tranquility.
The Supreme Kais would often blend into this environment, keeping company with these little creatures as everyone bathed in the peaceful atmosphere.
But today, this land, which had been quiet for so long, was treated to a rare and significant bit of "excitement."
"Hey! It moved, it moved! Vitelli-san moved!"
Shin, the Supreme Kai, pointed at Vitelli and shouted in astonishment, his tone making him sound like a child weighing a hundred pounds.
Vitelli, who was putting his all into pulling the sword, was so startled by this sudden outburst that he nearly lost his breath and almost threw out his back.
He glared at Shin irritably and corrected him:
"Shut up! What do you mean 'I moved'? The sword moved! Can you even speak properly?"
How was this guy a Supreme Kai, anyway? Why did he always give off the impression of being so incredibly unreliable?
Shin shrank his neck at the shout, rubbed the back of his head with a sheepish grin, and said somewhat embarrassedly:
"Sorry, sorry, I just got too excited. Please continue, Vitelli-san."
Off to the side, Whis maintained his signature elegant smile, as if everything before him had nothing to do with him.
He had produced a bag of exquisite snacks from who knows where and was munching on them happily, completely detached and looking on with the leisurely air of a spectator.
Vitelli couldn't be bothered to pay any more attention to these two clowns; he refocused, held his breath, and gripped the hilt of the Z Sword tightly with both hands.
He took a deep breath, his powerful energy erupting from within as his muscles tensed and he began to exert force.
"Rise...!"
Vitelli let out a low, muffled grunt.
This seemingly ordinary Sword in the Stone was unexpectedly heavy, as if the entire blade were fused tightly to the earth of the Supreme Kai Realm.
He had used nearly eighty percent of his strength before the blade began to emerge from the ground, inch by agonizing inch, with a grinding sensation as if it were breaking free from its shackles.
