Background / History

Whis answers Vitelli's repeated summons after being lured by a feast of Earth food. Though initially reluctant to train a Saiyan mortal, he accepts after Bulma negotiates a continuing supply of high-quality meals. He rejects Goku's request to join the training, judging him insufficiently strong at the time. 22
