Sun Yu pushed his 8,000 battle power to its absolute limit. He quickly crossed the thousands of miles indicated by the Dragon Radar, finally locating the headquarters of the Red Ribbon Army on an isolated island off the West Coast.
Following the Dragon Radar's guidance, Sun Yu arrived above a magnificent palace where flags fluttered in the wind. Using the Insight Technique of his Sharingan, he quickly located the secret chamber where Bulma was being held. She didn't seem to have suffered any physical harm; she was huddled in a corner of the room, head bowed, looking pitiful and forlorn.
As long as you aren't hurt, it's fine. I will make them pay back the grievances you've suffered tenfold, a hundredfold!
Sun Yu silently vowed to himself, then locked onto his target and plunged vertically from several thousand meters in the air, descending like a Guardian!
In an instant, the reinforced concrete floors of the magnificent palace were shattered like wood and paper under Sun Yu's feet. He appeared at the entrance of the secret chamber in the blink of an eye.
"BOOM!"
The guards, who had been dozing off, were jolted awake by the earth-shaking roar. Seeing a figure appear before the hostage cell, they immediately raised their guns and threatened, "Wh-who goes there! Don't move, or I'll fire!"
Sun Yu turned his head and shot them a cold, piercing glare. The guards trembled violently, and upon catching sight of the massive hole in the ceiling, their faces turned deathly pale.
"Get lost!"
"Yes...!" "As you command..."
Sun Yu's single word of dismissal felt like a reprieve from death. The guards kowtowed twice to thank him for sparing their lives before scrambling away in a panic.
Hearing the commotion, little Bulma raised her head. Her eyes were red, a sight so heart-wrenching it made one want to scoop her up and shower her with affection.
In fact, that was exactly what Sun Yu did.
With a sharp creak, he tore the thick iron bars of the cell door apart with his bare hands. Bulma's eyes widened in shock, and she let out a soft "Wow," whispering, "Brother Sun Yu, are you here to save me...?"
After ripping the bars away, Sun Yu stepped into the room, scooped the little girl into his arms, and said softly, "That's right. Not only am I here to get you out, but I'm also going to punish the bad guys for you."
Before Sun Yu could finish, tears welled up in Bulma's eyes. She fought them back, sobbing, "Thank you, Brother Sun Yu. Bulma was very good. The bad guys wanted me to tell them where you were... but I didn't say anything. They tried to scare me... but I didn't cry... I was very brave! Wuwuwu... I was... I was so brave..."
Buried in Sun Yu's embrace, Bulma no longer felt the need to pretend to be strong. Her tears flowed like a bursting dam. Each sob felt like a needle pricking Sun Yu's heart. He said coldly, "They... they actually dared to frighten my Bulma..."
Hmph, it seems the Red Ribbon Army won't need to wait for Son Goku to wipe them out, because today, the Red Ribbon Army will vanish from this world entirely!
Sun Yu tore off a piece of his sleeve to wipe the tear tracks from Bulma's cheeks. Perhaps because this was the first time she had been held by someone other than her parents, the little girl's face turned bright red. If the situation weren't so inappropriate, Sun Yu would have been tempted to kiss her cheeks.
Heh, caught you, didn't I? And you still dare to say you aren't a little girl!
"Let's go, Brother is taking you home!"
With that, Sun Yu scooped Bulma up in a bridal carry and shot straight into the clouds. Bulma clung tightly to his collar, clearly afraid of the height.
However, once Sun Yu cleared the palace, he discovered that the Red Ribbon Army had mobilized a massive force. Fighter jets stood ready in the sky, and tanks and artillery were deployed on the ground. Perhaps Commander Red thought this would be enough to threaten Sun Yu. Heh, ignorance is bliss!
Worried that high-speed aerial movement would frighten Bulma, Sun Yu simply descended to the ground.
Commander Red, watching from a distance, assumed his army had intimidated Sun Yu. He triumphantly directed his armored vehicle toward Sun Yu, opened the sunroof, and shouted through a megaphone, "Haha! You're surrounded! Hand over the Dragon Balls now, and I might just spare your life!"
At the same time, Commander Red whispered to his adjutant, Black, "How about that? I told you, didn't I? This idiot actually came alone to save that little girl! Hahahaha..."
Adjutant Black's mouth twitched, and he offered a helpless, sycophantic smile. "The Commander's foresight is truly divine. I am in awe... truly in awe!"
"Brother Sun Yu..."
Bulma clutched Sun Yu's clothes nervously. Sun Yu smiled at her, patted her head, and comforted her, "Don't worry. With me here, I will never let my Bulma get hurt. Just wait and watch the show!"
He then pulled a lollipop from his pocket and tucked it into her hand.
"Mm!" Bulma replied with a sense of relief. She took the lollipop and obediently hid behind Sun Yu, licking it.
Once Bulma was settled, Sun Yu spoke loudly to Commander Red in the armored vehicle ahead, "Commander Red... I advise you to stop now. Otherwise, one word from me, and you'll be dead!"
As soon as he spoke, the entire scene fell silent, save for the roar of mechanical engines. A full minute passed before the crowd erupted into unprecedented laughter. Some were clutching their stomachs, tears and snot streaming down their faces.
"What did you say?" Commander Red was laughing so hard he nearly choked. He wiped his eyes and asked, "You... you actually said that one word from you would kill me? Ahahaha... is my hearing failing, or is there something wrong with your brain?"
The black-skinned Adjutant Black also struggled to contain his mirth. He shook his head at Sun Yu and said, "Kid, you have high-level martial arts; we already know that. But saying you can kill the Commander with one word? That's a bit... if you were trying to make us laugh, I have to admit, you succeeded!"
"I wasn't trying to make you laugh!"
Sun Yu felt aggrieved, because the method to kill Commander Red really only required saying one sentence.
In the original story, Commander Red died a very unjust death. He had used the excuse of conquering the world to recruit a large group of ambitious warmongers. He exhausted all resources, forcing his subordinates to risk their lives searching for the seven Dragon Balls. To ensure success, he enforced brutal military regulations: failure to complete a mission meant execution.
This included the remnants of the Blue Team that Sun Yu had previously defeated; upon fleeing back to the Red Ribbon Army headquarters, they were executed by Commander Red that very day. Such cruel and harsh rules had bred deep resentment among the soldiers.
In the end, Adjutant Black discovered the true intent behind the Commander's search for the Dragon Balls. It turned out the Commander wasn't seeking to conquer the world at all; he was simply insecure about his height and wanted to grow taller—nothing more!
Adjutant Black, heartbroken that so many soldiers had sacrificed their lives for such a trivial, selfish wish, decided that Commander Red was unfit to lead and killed him.
Therefore, all Sun Yu had to do was tell Adjutant Black the Commander's little secret in advance. He didn't even need to lift a finger! After all, as Sun Yu had said, dealing with such a small-time character was beneath him.
"Cough, cough. Adjutant Black, let him speak. I want to see how he intends to kill me with a single word!" Commander Red stared at Sun Yu with utter disdain.
"You really want me to say it?" Sun Yu felt a bit embarrassed. Exposing someone's "shortcomings" wasn't very polite! He was afraid the Commander might get so angry he'd jump up and try to punch his knees.
"That's right! I'm begging you to say it. Go on, speak! Whoever doesn't say it is a coward!"
Hearing this, Sun Yu felt he had no choice. He had to say it, or he'd be the one admitting to being a coward!
Sigh, I've never seen someone so eager to court death. If there were a "Creative Ways to Die" competition, this Commander Red would definitely take the gold medal.
