Sun Yu's Ape Transformation (Third Watch)

"Oh, are you telling the truth?" Sun Yu naturally understood what Shenron meant by "innate talent." It referred to his Sharingan. As the most powerful ocular jutsu in the Naruto world, the Sharingan possessed all sorts of bizarre functions; perhaps there really was a way to control the transformation.

"Of... of course it's true!" Shenron let out a long sigh of relief, looking like someone who had just narrowly escaped death. "Saiyan transformation into a Great Ape is triggered by the moon reflecting sunlight, emitting Blutz Waves. As long as your eyes receive this wavelength, you can transform. I believe your eyes have the ability to automatically isolate Blutz Waves from sunlight, thereby granting you the power to control the transformation."

After hearing Shenron's words, Sun Yu nodded in agreement, though he asked with some doubt: "I have the ability to control the transformation, but what about retaining my sanity? If I can't keep my wits about me after transforming, then it's all for nothing!"

Shenron's mouth twitched, and it said weakly: "Sir, if my perception is correct, your eyes can help you regain your sanity. You should know that better than I do..."

"Fine then, hurry up and grant my wish!" Sun Yu urged impatiently.

"Very well."

As soon as it finished speaking, Shenron's massive dragon eyes emitted a scarlet glow. Sun Yu's Sharingan snapped open, and an ancient incantation echoed in his mind. The tomoe in Sun Yu's eyes spun around the crimson irises once before returning to normal.

"Is that it?" Sun Yu asked.

"Yes, sir. I have fulfilled your wish. Now... sayonara!"

Without waiting for Sun Yu to reply, Shenron immediately soared into the air, transforming into a ball of golden light suspended in the sky. In its heart, it prayed a thousand times over that it would never have to see this terrifying, murderous monster again.

The golden light in the sky faded, revealing seven white, spherical stones. Once a wish is granted, the Dragon Ball turns to stone and requires a year to regain its luster.

Just as the Dragon Balls were about to fly off in all directions, Sun Yu lunged into the air, grabbing all seven with both hands before crashing heavily back to the ground, creating a series of small craters.

"You think you can run? Not a chance!"

After securing all seven petrified Dragon Balls, Sun Yu descended to the ground triumphantly. He briefly explained the situation to the Briefs couple, telling them to keep the Dragon Balls safe and not to lose them, before flying off toward the East City Grand Department Store.

On the way, Sun Yu activated his Sharingan and tried looking at the full moon in the sky. A sudden, restless urge stirred within him, but Sun Yu used the special ability Shenron had imbued into his Sharingan to forcibly suppress the impulse.

"Haha, it seems that big loach didn't lie to me. I really can master the ability to transform into a Great Ape at will!"

Excited, Sun Yu pushed his speed to the limit and soon returned to the East City Grand Department Store.

At this moment, the East City Grand Department Store was already in ruins. Lana, in her Great Ape form, and Ace, in his Great Wolf form, were still locked in battle. Although Lana held an overwhelming advantage, Ace, in his wolf form, relied on his indomitable will to hold on. The area for dozens of miles around the battlefield had been affected; the residents had long since evacuated, and it was said that the national military units were already on their way and would likely arrive soon.

Sun Yu saw several police cars speeding along the ground and lowered his altitude to fly alongside them.

"Hey, you lot! If you don't want to die, stop driving forward. That's not something you can handle!"

Sun Yu warned them out of kindness. The windows of the police cars rolled down, and as luck would have it, they were the same officers Sun Yu had encountered at the Eastern Bank.

"Why is it you!"

The people in the police cars recognized Sun Yu as well. They pulled over and said, "So it's the hero! Why are you here? Could it be..."

"You guessed right. Leave the situation over there to me. Stay back to avoid getting caught in the crossfire! And you'd better set up a perimeter; I see a lot of reporters rushing in like they have a death wish."

Hearing Sun Yu's words, the East City police officers acted as if they had received a royal decree, snapping to attention and saluting before patting their chests to guarantee they would complete the task.

Sun Yu smiled helplessly, bid farewell to these adorable East City police officers, and flew toward Lana.

Approaching the center of the battlefield, Sun Yu dropped from high altitude and activated his Sharingan. The Blutz Waves under the moonlight converged into his eyes, and he shouted: "Flame Fist!"

"ROAR!"

Sun Yu felt his body brimming with power, as if he could destroy the heavens and earth with a mere gesture. His body expanded rapidly, his clothes shredding to pieces. By the time he landed, his transformation was complete. His massive frame crushed an empty, abandoned building, causing the earth to tremble.

Lana, in her Great Ape form, picked up Ace and tossed him aside, then turned her murderous gaze toward Sun Yu. Ace, thrown to the side in his wolf form, seemed worried that the suddenly appearing Sun Yu would team up with Lana to attack him, so he used his remaining sliver of sanity to decide to attack the Great Ape Sun Yu first.

Just like that, Lana and Ace flanked Sun Yu from both sides. He slowly raised his massive ape head, his eyes still maintaining the scarlet Sharingan, with two tomoe spinning within them.

"Both of you coming at me at once?" A smirk tugged at the corner of Sun Yu's mouth as he roared: "Flame Fist!"

That's right, this was Sun Yu using his Sharingan to copy Lana's skill. As the words left his lips, scorching heat waves radiated from his body, and his hands were wreathed in crimson flames.

"Let's have a real fight!"

Sun Yu swung a fist at Lana, but unexpectedly, she leaped into the air. Just as Sun Yu was about to pursue, Ace lunged at him, his sharp front claws swiping at Sun Yu's chest.

"Damn it, you two were trying to kill each other a moment ago, why are you cooperating so perfectly now!"

Complaints aside, Sun Yu ducked to avoid Ace's pounce, then extended his ape arm to grab Ace and execute a shoulder throw.

Before Sun Yu could throw the Ace he was holding, Lana's attack arrived. With no other choice, Sun Yu twisted his body and used Ace as a living shield.

"Awoo..."

Ace let out a miserable howl as he took the hit. Sun Yu jumped behind him, grabbed Ace's tail, and swung him toward Lana.

Facing the massive wolf body hurtling toward her, Lana put all her strength into a punch. A series of cracking sounds followed—most likely several of Ace's bones breaking.

Poor Ace. Sun Yu held a moment of silence for him in his heart... never mind, no time for silence. The battle was fierce and every second counted, so Sun Yu swung the tail again, smashing him toward Lana.

The result was predictable: Ace, reduced to Sun Yu's weapon, was beaten black and blue by Lana, with hardly a bone left intact.

This scene, while technically Sun Yu in Great Ape form versus Lana, looked more like Sun Yu and Lana taking turns brutally abusing Ace.
