"Shin, what are you thinking about?"
Kushina watched Shin in a daze, unable to resist reaching out to pat him, snapping him back to reality.
Since Shin was communicating with the system in his mind, it had looked like he was just spacing out to Kushina.
"Nothing much."
A smile hung on Shin's face, a smile so undisguised that it left Kushina somewhat puzzled.
"Liar. You wouldn't be grinning like that if you weren't thinking of something. You must have thought of something good, but fine, don't tell me then." Kushina pouted in dissatisfaction.
Shin shook his head, his smile fading. He realized his previous line of thinking had been a bit too presumptuous.
Just as the system said, what limited him was the Copy Card. To stack his physique to the level of Might Guy opening the Eight Gates, even dozens of ordinary Copy Cards wouldn't be enough!
Besides, Shin never intended to be a ninja specialized solely in taijutsu. Only by being strong in all aspects could he remain without flaws; specializing in just one made it too easy for enemies to target him.
"Uzumaki Yan, it's you."
Uzumaki Yan, whose physical fitness had just been copied by Shin, turned his gaze toward him.
The perception of a jonin was extremely sharp; Uzumaki Yan had certainly felt Shin staring at him earlier.
Uzumaki Yan did not know that the physique he had trained for over a decade, enduring countless hardships, had already been copied away by Shin.
From this perspective, Shin's system was truly perverse. What others obtained through over a decade of hard work, he possessed instantly through copying.
If Uzumaki Yan knew, he would probably hate Shin, this cheater, to death.
But he didn't need to know; Uzumaki Yan didn't have a pleasant look for Shin anyway, as there was bad blood between them.
To be precise, the conflict was between Shin and Uzumaki Yan's son. Back when Shin still lived in the clan grounds, he had clashed with Uzumaki Yan's son.
Shin had broken the leg of Uzumaki Yan's son, leaving him bedridden for three months.
At the time, Uzumaki Yan had gone to settle the score with bloodshot eyes, but although Shin was unpopular, he was still the grandson of the Grand Elder, so Uzumaki Yan couldn't do anything to him.
"It is me. It seems you still recognize me. By the way, how is your son doing?"
Shin asked with a faint smile.
Although the man was a jonin, Shin was not afraid of him.
Shin wasn't afraid not because of his own strength; truthfully, while he had copied his physique and added it to his own, surpassing him in physical stats, he would certainly not be a match in a real fight.
Shin lacked combat experience, while the other was a veteran of a hundred battles. Even with a superior physique, he wouldn't win.
Think of Kaguya Otsutsuki; wasn't it precisely because her combat experience was so poor that she was eventually sealed despite having immense power?
If Madara Uchiha could obtain the power of Kaguya Otsutsuki, he could absolutely sweep everything away.
Shin wasn't afraid of Uzumaki Yan because of his own status. No matter how unpopular he was, he was still the grandson of the Grand Elder of the Uzumaki Clan. Would Uzumaki Yan dare to lay a hand on him?
"Hmph."
Uzumaki Yan let out a cold snort, telling himself that the boy was still just a brat and there was no need to lower himself to his level.
Even so, Uzumaki Yan was still fuming. He glared fiercely at Shin before turning and walking away.
Since he couldn't touch him, he would rather not see him.
Afterward, Shin wandered the training ground for a while longer and used another ordinary Copy Card, this time copying a ninjutsu: the B-rank Shadow Clone Technique.
The Shadow Clone Technique was a jutsu created by the Second Hokage, Senju Tobirama, but because it was so practical, ninjas from other nations had stolen it as well.
There were countless ninjas in the shinobi world who knew the Shadow Clone Technique, and ninjas of the Uzumaki Clan knew it too. Shin had copied it from an elite chunin.
With his Perfect Sage Body, Shin's strength would improve even faster now that he possessed this Shadow Clone Technique.
Of course, what Shin really wanted to obtain was the forbidden Multi Shadow Clone Technique.
Although the Multi Shadow Clone Technique was A-rank, it was classified as a forbidden jutsu, but a forbidden jutsu did not necessarily mean it was powerful.
Anything that caused damage or danger to the user was classified as a forbidden jutsu, as were other particularly dangerous techniques, such as the Impure World Reincarnation Jutsu.
Unfortunately, an ordinary Copy Card could not copy A-rank ninjutsu; it could only copy up to B-rank.
And even if he could copy it, he couldn't find anyone to copy from. Many people knew the Shadow Clone Technique, but those who knew the Multi Shadow Clone Technique were few and far between.
With three Copy Cards remaining, Shin didn't use them. He left the training ground with Kushina and purchased some ninja tools and two sheets of Chakra Test Paper.
Chakra Test Paper was used to test chakra nature, of which there were seven types.
They were: Wind, Lightning, Water, Fire, Earth, Yin, and Yang.
Among them, the Yin and Yang natures could not be tested with Chakra Test Paper.
"Why are you buying these two pieces of paper? One thousand ryo per sheet, that's so expensive." Kushina looked at the two sheets in Shin's hand, feeling a bit of heartache.
"This is a Chakra Test Paper, used to determine your chakra nature. Take it and channel your chakra into it to test it out."
Kushina took the Chakra Test Paper with curiosity and channeled her chakra into it. Instantly, the paper began to change.
The Chakra Test Paper split down the middle, and its four corners became damp.
"Kushina, your chakra natures are Wind and Water," Shin said to her.
Kushina looked a bit bewildered, as she was not yet familiar with this knowledge.
Shin then took a Chakra Test Paper and channeled his chakra into it. The paper split down the middle, indicating Wind nature, and then one corner ignited into flames, indicating Fire nature.
Immediately after, one corner became damp, indicating Water nature, another corner crinkled, indicating Lightning nature, and the final corner crumbled into dust, indicating Earth nature.
Shin's chakra actually possessed all five natures: Wind, Lightning, Water, Fire, and Earth.
The Yin and Yang natures could not be detected this way, but since Shin possessed a Perfect Sage Body, he certainly possessed the Yang nature.
Furthermore, he possessed the Sharingan, and the Sharingan was a manifestation of Yin Release, which meant it was highly likely that Shin also possessed the Yin nature.
In other words, Shin potentially possessed all seven chakra natures, which was truly a cause for joy.
"Wow, five changes! Shin, do you have chakra with five different natures?"
Shin smiled slightly, choosing not to reveal the Yin and Yang chakra natures to Kushina for the time being.
The sky was beginning to darken, so Shin and Kushina headed back home before nightfall. Shin set down the ninja tools he had purchased and went to prepare dinner.
"Kushina, what would you like to eat?" Shin asked her.
"Hehe, as long as it's something you made, Shin, I'll love it."
Shin smiled at her words and decided to prepare a hearty meal; today's training had been demanding, and they needed to eat well to replenish their bodies.
Especially since they were still young, they needed to consume nutritious food, otherwise, it would affect their physical development.
After finishing a sumptuous dinner, a somewhat exhausted Kushina washed up and went to rest. Shin did not rest, however, and instead continued to study the sealing technique known as Adamantine Sealing Chains.
