As everyone knows, the time during vacation always passes by in a flash.

Lan Kai felt as if the trip to the territory of the Yuanen clan, where he and Juggler had pummeled the demons of the Demon Plane, had happened only moments ago. Now, he was back at Eastsea Academy, joining the rest of Zero Class to welcome a new student: a cute girl with pale blue hair and a face even more stunning than Gu Yue's.

Seeing that Tang Wulin and the others seemed to recognize her, Lan Kai immediately guessed the girl's name.

Xu Xiaoyan, right? I recall she wasn't this timid in the original story. Could it be that Tang Wulin and Gu Yue did something brutal to her?

Seeing this, Xie Xie didn't think to use the "smoke" that had appeared out of thin air to continue his charge; instead, he turned and retreated to the side, showing the same level of caution as a certain Ice Emperor seeing a Buddha's Fury Fire Lotus.

Tang Wulin, however, remained stubborn. He activated his Golden Dragon Claw and attempted to accelerate toward Lan Kai, launching an attack while simultaneously covering Gu Yue's movements.

Then, his shoulder joint was struck hard by a punch from Lan Kai. Immediately following that, Lan Kai grabbed Tang Wulin's wrist and delivered a hand-blade strike to the crook of his elbow.
