The Plane Consciousness sent Lin Yaoyang to the Far North, where Snow Empress and Ice Empress raised him before he left for Shrek Academy. At Shrek, he challenged Zhou Yi, befriended Wang Dong and Huo Yuhao, and ended the stretch confronting Ma Xiaotao after her flames knocked Wang Dong unconscious.

• The Plane Consciousness gave the infant Lin Yaoyang half of Douluo Planet's remaining Fortune Origin and sent him to the Far North, where Snow Empress found him and she and Ice Empress named him Yao Yang.
• Lin Yaoyang awakened the Apollo martial soul with Innate Full Soul Power, then gained soul rings and cultivated under Snow Empress and Ice Empress until he reached level forty-two.
• Snow Empress brought Lin Yaoyang to Shrek City, where he entered Shrek Academy and stunned the staff with his age, Soul Power, and rare soul rings.
• Lin Yaoyang defeated Wang Dong in their dormitory dispute, then stood against Zhou Yi when she punished their class and injured her with his Ultimate Fire.
• Yan Shaozhe expelled Zhou Yi, gave Lin Yaoyang a compensation card, and the new teacher appointed him class monitor with Wang Dong as vice monitor.
• Lin Yaoyang and Wang Dong bought food from Huo Yuhao, met Jiang Nannan, and watched Xu Sanshi challenge Bei Bei after Jiang Nannan rejected Xu Sanshi.

Lin Yaoyang rejected Shrek’s attempts to draw him closer while completing the semester alongside Wang Dong and his friends. He later traveled with the Snow Empress and Ice Empress to claim treasures and Immortal Herbs, then accepted Infernal Delicate Apricot’s hundred-thousand-year sacrifice.

• Ma Xiaotao lost control and attacked Lin Yaoyang and Wang Dong, but Yan Shaozhe stopped the fight and later compensated them with two gold cards.
• Lin Yaoyang formed a Freshman Assessment team with Wang Dong and Xiao Xiao, and they finished undefeated before he declined Yan Shaozhe’s offer to become his disciple.
• Mu En asked Zhang Lexuan to approach Lin Yaoyang, but Lin challenged Shrek’s motives and its handling of Zhou Yi before deciding to remain at the academy for now.
• At the end of the semester, Lin Yaoyang left with Wang Dong and Jiang Nannan, then revealed to Jiang Nannan that Wang Dong was a girl.
• Lin Yaoyang reunited with the Snow Empress and Ice Empress and led them to the Earth Dragon Sect, where they found forty-five pieces of Ten-Thousand-Year Profound Ice Marrow and Ice Extreme Divine Crystals.

Lin Yaoyang advanced through the Extreme North, helped Jiang Nannan and Shrek students, and gathered Wang Dong’er, Xiao Xiao, and Jiang Nannan around him. After rejecting Shrek’s offer and leaving the academy, he revealed his self-created seventh Soul Ring and led the three girls toward Star Luo City to begin building a force of their own.

• Lin Yaoyang and Ice Empress discovered the Ice Dragon King and Fire Dragon King’s remains beneath the springs and took their Dragon Cores, while Snow Empress returned after breaking through to seven hundred thousand years.
• Ice Empress absorbed the Ice Dragon King’s Dragon Core, survived her four-hundred-thousand-year tribulation, and evolved, while Lin Yaoyang absorbed the Fire Dragon King’s core and rose to level sixty-eight.
• Lin Yaoyang helped Jiang Nannan obtain her fourth Soul Ring, then saved Zhang Lexuan and the surviving students from the Howling Moon Wolf King after Xuan Zi disappeared during their expedition.
• Lin Yaoyang returned to Shrek with Jiang Nannan, where Wang Dong’er revealed she was a girl and the three joined him in the core disciple selection competition.

• At the edge of the Star Dou Forest, Lin Yaoyang condensed a red seventh Soul Ring himself, drawing the attention of the Three-Eyed Golden Lion, Scarlet King, and Di Tian, who suspected a connection to the Fire Dragon King.
• Lin Yaoyang and the three girls shared their backgrounds and plans, then reached Star Luo City a month later, where Wang Dong’er wondered whether to visit his room that night.

Lin Yaoyang founded the Sun Temple, fought Evil Soul Masters, and gathered allies and Soul Engineers to rebuild Spirit City. After helping the Snow Empress and Ice Empress, he reaffirmed his resolve to protect the people who wanted to live.

• Yan Shaozhe finalized Shrek’s teams, and after a Supervision Group mission left the main team badly injured, Wang Yan sent Huo Yuhao and the reserves to face Tianling Academy.
• Lin Yaoyang won the Spirit-Devouring Carving Knife and Ice Jade Scorpion Soul Bone at auction, and Electrolux used the knife’s Gold of Life to open Lin Yaoyang’s Eye of Life.
• Lin Yaoyang arranged for Jing Hongchen to forge a Level 9 gauntlet from the Soul Bone, and he won Xiao Lie’s conditional support for establishing the Sun Temple at Spirit City.
• The Sun Moon Empire defeated Shrek in the tournament, while the gods discovered Tang San’s soul-splitting scheme and sealed him in the Forbidden Land of Gods for ten thousand years.
• Lin Yaoyang and his companions fought Holy Spirit Cult raiders, aided survivors, and promised villagers that the Sun Temple would protect them.
• Lin Yaoyang helped Xiao Xiao obtain a Soul Ring, showed her the rebuilding of Spirit City, and Wang Dong’er left to seek fighters from the Clear Sky Sect.
• Lin Yaoyang received Jing Hongchen’s completed gauntlet and a team of Soul Engineers, then rescued Ye Guyi from three Evil Soul Masters and invited her to join the Sun Temple.
• Lin Yaoyang brought the Soul Engineers and Ye Guyi to rebuilt Spirit City, then gave Ice Empress her Level 9 bracer and told the Empresses he would keep working to help those who wanted to live.
