As Shrek’s attempt to stop Xiao Lie failed, Xue Lingxun pursued the throne for Xu Sanshi and clashed with Xiao Lie’s advancing army.

• Lin Yaoyang’s allies bombed the Sun Moon Empire’s munitions depot, and the resulting blast devastated Ming Capital and killed the emperor.
• Xu Tianran trapped the tournament teams in the arena, but Lin Yaoyang broke through the poison and defeated Long Xiaoyao and Ye Xishui as the Sun Temple fought back.
• Xu Tianran compensated the participating teams, and Lin Yaoyang’s group went on to win the tournament after Wang Dong’er and Wang Qiu’er defeated Meng Hongchen and Xiao Hongchen.
• The West Mountain trial left Xu Sanshi powerless and crippled Yan Shaozhe’s cultivation, while Jing Hongchen brought his family to join Lin Yaoyang at the Sun Temple.

Lin Yaoyang and his allies helped Dou Ling conquer Heavenly Soul while Sun Moon invaded Star Luo, leaving Shrek’s reinforcements caught between the Holy Spirit Cult and the Sun Temple. After Lin Yaoyang killed Zhongli Wu, he accused Shrek’s surviving elders of being Evil Soul Masters in disguise.

• Xiao Lie took the Dou Ling throne, while Lin Yaoyang tested his strength against Gu Yuena and astonished her with Corona Light.
• Tang San allied with the Golden Dragon King, while Xiao Lie and Ju Zi secretly agreed to divide Heaven Soul and Star Luo between Dou Ling and Sun Moon.
• Lin Yaoyang killed Xuan Zi and Elder Song after the Ice Empress admitted she had killed Xian Lin'er and Qian Duoduo, and Shrek’s students began leaving the academy.
• Xiao Xiao led Dou Ling’s invasion of Heavenly Soul, and Lin Yaoyang and his allies destroyed the Body Sect’s leadership before Heaven Dou City fell.
• Xiao Xiao ordered the deaths of Heaven Soul’s imperial family and nobles, while Ju Zi’s forces defeated Star Luo’s defenses and advanced toward its capital.

Lin Yaoyang and the Sun Temple helped Heaven Dou conquer Star Luo and destroy Shrek, while Wang Dong'er broke with Tang San and Wang Qiu'er gained a path to godhood. Lin Yaoyang created a Star God position independent of the God Realm as Heaven Dou closed in on Sun Moon, where Snow Empress stopped Kong Deming’s ultimate attack.

• Lin Yaoyang and his companions defeated the Holy Spirit Cult elders, killed Ju Zi and Luanfeng, and helped Star Luo rout the Sun Moon army before Lin Yaoyang revealed Heaven Dou’s plan to seize Star Luo.
• Xu Jiawei and Star Luo’s leaders chose death over surrender, while Heaven Dou occupied the realm and Xu Tianran ordered Sun Moon to prepare for invasion.
• Heaven Dou demanded Shrek’s dissolution, then bombarded Shrek City and Shrek Academy until both were reduced to ruins as Gu Yuena returned the Golden Tree to the Lake of Life.
• Lin Yaoyang rejected the Fire God’s inheritance, while Wang Dong'er learned that Tang San had divided Tang Wutong’s soul and severed her ties with him alongside Xiao Qi.

• Kong Deming prepared the Silver Moon Divine Light Wave to destroy Heaven Dou’s army, but Snow Empress froze and shattered the attack after Wang Dong'er brought her, Ice Empress, and Gu Yuena to the battlefield.
