Arcane Magic
Fighting Frost Wyrms in the air was extremely dangerous. The Elves on the airship stood far enough away not to have witnessed the battle closely, but that didn't stop them from using their imaginations after the bone dragon crashed into the sea. And when the dragon-fighting prince and King of the Amani returned to the airship, they gave them a reverent round of applause and cheers.
Facing the enthusiastic Elves, Kael'thas stood high on the deck with his arms outstretched and delivered an impromptu speech, recounting the difficulties faced by his race, in which the friendship of the Amani was especially precious, and which the Quel'dorei would forever cherish.
Kael'thas's tone was impassioned, and his words possessed a strange magic that won the cheers of the Elves. Amidst these cheers, he yielded his place to speak and gestured to the King of the Amani, but Zul'ra did not step forward; even standing there, he was taller Kael'thas.
"May the friendship between Amani and Quel'Thalas last forever." Zul'ra stood there, looking down at the Elves who were watching her, and uttered these words in a thick Zandalar accent, which immediately caused the Elves ' cheers to rise to another climax.
"Sun King, your people are incredibly enthusiastic." Zul'ra looked at the cheering Elves and leaned towards Kael'thas beside her with a smile.
"I have been lost in my grudges with humans for too long. Now, I fight only for them." Kael'thas looked at the cheering Elves, somewhat moved, and made up his mind.
"May you always be with your people." Zul'ra looked at the Elves prince, whose face showed a resolute expression, and offered a blessing with his eyes lowered. This was the only blessing he could give, because the Elves prince's character was unpredictable.
"Of course." Kael'thas glanced at the King of the Amani beside him and smiled faintly.
Amid cheers, Zul'ra chatted easily with Kael'thas. Then, as the Elves ' airship approached the Trolls ' airship, she waved goodbye to the Elves, gracefully leaped out of the airship, and returned to her companions, leaving the Elves with an incredibly nimble figure.
Upon landing on the airship carrying her own people, Zul'ra inevitably received another round of cheers. The Trolls also witnessed the battle, although like the Elves they hadn't seen it clearly, they understood that as long as their leader had won the fight against that thing, that was enough.
With a wave of his hand, Zul'ra didn't give any speech, just said a few simple words because he felt a bit tired. Fighting the bone dragon in the sky had taken a lot of his energy. He was fine before, but now it was different.
After letting the Trolls go back and celebrate, Zul'ra first drew the longsword from her waist. Looking at the blade that had just been slain by the death energy within the Frost Wyrms, she noticed that the azure energy surrounding the blade had become a bit more solid than before.
Zul'ra felt the sword's energy solidify, held her in his arms, and entered into meditation. He used his breath to communicate with the sword, sensing its emotions, which seemed to have matured somewhat after striking the dragon bone.
Encountering the Frost Wyrms was an unexpected event, and the end of this unexpected event meant that the rest of the journey would proceed smoothly. The airship quickly returned to Battleaxe Ridge, and after landing, Kael'thas instructed his men to leave his magic carpet with Zul'ra.

Besides the magic carpet, another Archmage was also left behind. Her name was Landra Morningwalker, a beautiful female mage like the other Elves. Kael'thas appointed her as Zul'ra's mage advisor, responsible for resolving his Arcane -related issues, which was actually a subtle hint.
Although Zul'ra refused the payment, Kael'thas still chose to pay because he believed that Quel'Thalas needed Amani, but could not get too close to Amani, which was the right approach. Zul'ra also agreed with this, so he didn't stand on ceremony with Landra and took the magic carpet to ask her about the principles of Arcane.
Landra was a Blood Elves mage with long bronze hair. She had been given instructions before being kept behind, so she naturally responded to Zul'ra's request for guidance. Although she held back some information, the basic knowledge and principles were essential.
Arcane Magic is based on mathematics. The mages who study Arcane believe that the world can be measured by numbers. They use numbers to build a three-dimensional structure, which they call a magical formula. Then they substitute their own energy and mana to get the final result, which is the effect of Arcane Magic.
Once a complete magical formula is acquired, as long as one's stamina is sufficient and there is enough Arcane energy, even a magic apprentice can transform into a mobile magical artillery platform. The Night Elves mages of the Kaldorei Empire were able to defeat the Zandalar because they had the energy of the Well of Eternity as their support.
Similarly, the Kingdom of Quel'Thalas, founded by the High Elves, also had a Sunwell, Sunwell possessed considerable energy because it was made from a vial of the Waters of the Well of Eternity Well of Eternity, which itself exploded and sank to the bottom of the sea during the War of the Ancients.
Leaving aside the past, Zul'ra focused on learning Arcane from Landra. However, the theory of magic was one thing, but learning it was another. The process was similar to that of Witch Doctor or Shaman, only in a different way. Perceiving energy was a formula, manipulating energy was a formula, and casting spells was a formula.
Sensing and manipulating energy is the basic requirement for all mages. This is also how mages in Dalaran recruit apprentices. They use special spells to test the children's talents, teach them the formulas for sensing and manipulating, and if they can sense and manipulate Arcane energy within a certain time, they can pass the entrance exam.
Zul'ra passed the introductory stage very easily, and Landra knew this too, so he started teaching him spell formulas directly. However, this method of casting spells was not suitable for him, probably because he naturally disliked mathematics and felt a headache when he saw those numbers, let alone those complicated spell formulas. However, he also had his own method.
Although the theoretical mathematics of Arcane Magic is very complex, the casting process is actually no different from that of Witch Doctor, Shaman, and Priest, only more concrete. They use formulas to build a bridge between themselves and energy, then substitute the energy into the formulas to solve the problem and finally calculate the effect of the magic.
Based on his own understanding, Zul'ra rejected the spell formulas taught by Landra and instead asked her to teach him how to manipulate energy, to understand the connection between numbers and energy, and then to feel and understand the "numbers" in energy. Although the numbers obtained by this method were one-sided and prone to errors, at least he could understand them, and only through understanding could trust be generated.
