Tyrande Whisperwind
On a bench nestled in the quiet woods, Tyrande Whisperwind and Zul'ra sat, flanked by rows of Kaldorei Tooth-Soldiers. In a friendly atmosphere, the two engaged in a cordial conversation—well, not exactly cordial. After the initial polite exchanges, Tyrande Whisperwind cut straight to the point. 🍬☠ Claw 🐟♠
"Zul'ra Jin, what is your purpose in coming here this time? Is it for those Orcs?" Tyrande Whisperwind displayed the rather reckless side of the Night Elves, her blue eyes staring directly at the tall and imposing Trolls, asking without any hesitation.
"Yes, Lady Tyrande Whisperwind, I know that the Kaldorei had some misunderstandings with the Orcs..." Zul'ra looked at the high priest who went straight to the point, secretly gritting her teeth but having no choice but to nod. At the same time, she solemnly opened her mouth to explain, but was interrupted before she could finish speaking.
"It's not a misunderstanding. They are responsible for Cenarius's death, and from what I know right now, they are still in Ashenvale." Tyrande Whisperwind immediately refuted Zul'ra's words, and cited the situation: the Orcs were still in Ashenvale, which was part of the Night Elves ' territory.
"That's because their new home requires a lot of timber. The Orcs race has suffered too much. They were enslaved by demons and forced by the Alliance. They finally arrived on this continent, hoping to find a place to live." Zul'ra tried her best to describe the Orcs ' plight. Although most of their misery was self-inflicted, the right to survive belongs to everyone.
"..." Tyrande Whisperwind was speechless when she heard Zul'ra's miserable description. As a tough Night Elves, she was always straightforward and never afraid of any opponent's provocation, but she couldn't stand seeing her opponent crying so pitifully.
"I'm here today representing the Horde. The Warchief hopes to find a suitable way for the people of the Orcs, Trolls, and other Horde to survive, and even more so, he hopes to resolve the conflict with the Kaldorei, after all, we fought together before." Seeing Tyrande Whisperwind's blue light soften, Zul'ra quickly pressed on, saying that they had once shared a common ground, and any problems could be discussed.
"How can we resolve our conflict?" Tyrande Whisperwind raised her eyes, her eyebrows twitching slightly. If she had been crying because she couldn't take it anymore, now she had to consider it. She hated every green-skinned Orcs, but Warchief Thrall was an exception. She respected him because he had once faced Archimonde head-on without backing down and injured him with lightning, which required immense courage and ability.
"May I ask you, madam, to order all the Kaldorei to cease their retaliation against the Orcs, for at this very moment, because of hatred, both sides may be shedding blood in vain," Zul'ra pleaded carefully, then explained sincerely before Tyrande Whisperwind could reply.
"We have many things in common, and based on these commonalities, we can seek ways to coexist. Of course, I understand that we have many differences, but I believe these differences can be set aside. Even if the conflicts are serious, I believe they can be resolved in a more peaceful way, without resorting to violence."
"What do they have in common? I don't think the Kaldorei and those guys have anything in common!" Tyrande Whisperwind's cleaving lips revealed fangs, her tone filled with deep disdain for the Orcs. The Kaldorei could never have anything in common with those guys.
"Take the Burning Legion for example!" Zul'ra looked at Tyrande Whisperwind with disdain, a calm smile spreading across her face.
"The Burning Legion?" Tyrande Whisperwind's expression faltered slightly. She had just boasted, only to be proven wrong so quickly. Although she didn't want to admit it, the Orcs had indeed contributed to the fight against the Burning Legion, and...
"Yes, the Burning Legion, they were indeed defeated. The Kaldorei paid a heavy price to drive them from this world, but evil forces have corrupted it, and many of their minions remain. One day, they will return." Zul'ra mentioned the Kaldorei's sacrifices again, paused slightly, and then continued.
"Orcs exist in this world, and the Kaldorei are an indispensable part of it. Why can't we join hands to seek a better future, resist the demons, and protect the future of our world?"
Faced with his words, Tyrande Whisperwind's blue eyes dimmed, because these words truly reminded her that she understood the Burning Legion would return, whether the Kaldorei could defeat those demons like this again, and whether she should cling to Cenarius's death or strive for a possible peaceful future.
"... Zul'ra Jin, your words are very prescient, but I think it's questionable whether the Orcs can uphold their identity as part of this world. If I heard correctly, you just said they were enslaved by demons!" Tyrande Whisperwind's blue eyes lit up.
"I can't deny the flaws of many Orcs. They are Recklessness and impulsive, easily led astray by some people. But they have a good leader, like our current Warchief. Some of them are also brave enough to admit their mistakes and try to salvage the situation, like Grom." Zul'ra looked at the silent Tyrande Whisperwind and began to present the facts. Orcs are indeed quite troublesome, but it cannot be denied that they are actually quite honest, and there are heroes among them.
"Grom!" Tyrande Whisperwind's eyes flashed with blue light.
"Yes, that Recklessness Warsong Clan chieftain, killing the Forest King was an unforgivable sin, but it stemmed from a demonic plot. However, he also atoned for it by personally challenging Mannoroth and ending his evil deeds in Ashenvale with his life." Zul'ra calmly pointed out that if Mannoroth hadn't died, it would be hard to guarantee that Ashenvale wouldn't become like Felwood.
"I find it hard to refute you, but I remain skeptical of the Orcs. However, I will order everyone to cease retaliatory killings, but I also demand that the Orcs stop their logging activities in Ashenvale." Tyrande Whisperwind looked at the Trolls presenting the facts and reasoning, somewhat hesitant, but still made some decisions.
"I will deliver the message to the Warchief as quickly as possible, but madam, could I ask the Kaldorei to provide us with enough timber, as the Horde is currently facing a dire situation?" Zul'ra did not answer directly, but instead made a request; the Horde in Ashenvale because of a shortage of timber.
"A dire situation?" Tyrande Whisperwind raised her eyes slightly.
"Yes, the urgent situation is with the humans, not Jaina in Theramore, but the human kingdoms of the Eastern Kingdoms. They could cross the sea at any time and reignite the old hatred." Zul'ra felt that if he wasn't mistaken, Jaina was definitely also in contact with the Kaldorei, trying to bring Kaldorei into the Alliance. Given their hatred for the Orcs, it was only a matter of time before the Kaldorei joined the Alliance. He at least wanted to try to keep the Kaldorei in check.
"I've been to the Eastern Kingdoms. They shouldn't have time to come here right now, right?" Tyrande Whisperwind was somewhat skeptical. The Eastern Kingdoms was currently suffering from the Scourge. Were those humans out of their minds to come here to fight instead of helping with disaster relief?
"the Scourge have occurred, and human kingdoms are not all on the continent. In a way, we are partly to blame. We fought a great war for survival, and both sides lost too many people and created too much hatred." Zul'ra took the initiative to take responsibility for the Horde's mistakes, saying that the Horde had put aside the hatred and that it was all the Alliance's fault.
"Perhaps you're just overthinking it." Tyrande Whisperwind sensed something was off about Zul'ra's words and wanted to refuse.
"I hope I'm overthinking it, but I still want to ask you, madam, if you can give us some help." Zul'ra looked at Tyrande Whisperwind, who had refused her, and nodded slightly to indicate that she was right. However, she changed her tone and said, "We really need this timber urgently."
"Alright then! I'll have my men prepare and gather enough wood to provide for you." Tyrande Whisperwind looked at the Trolls had already made their request, and finally nodded. Providing some wood was nothing to the Kaldorei.
