The Essence of Taming
"I was careless! I was careless! "Zul'ra sat in the moonlight, filled with regret. She had been too impulsive this time, recklessly entering this place with the intention of taming the Scythe of Elune, only to find herself in this predicament—not only cursed by the Worgen, but also trapped here. ♢♦ 👽♢
Feeling somewhat anxious, Zul'ra couldn't control her thoughts as usual, but she couldn't think of a solution. She could only stay silently in the moonlight, maintaining her plea to Elune and keeping the moonlight shining on her, while silently reflecting on her situation.
"I've got it." Zul'ra recalled the events and suddenly had a flash of inspiration. She remembered the forging process of the Scythe of Elune, Ralaar's hatred, Belysra's sorrow, Elune's power, and Godson's rage. Banehollow had also said that this was a conflict, but also a balance. So, did it mean that mastering this balance meant mastering the Worgen form?
"No." Zul'ra shook her head violently when she thought about controlling the Worgen form through balance. She wasn't trying to control the Worgen form; she wanted to tame the Scythe of Elune and get out of here. If she turned into Worgen, wouldn't she be tamed by the scythe instead?
"Balance, balance." Zul'ra sat in the moonlight, carefully considering what she should do. Elune's moonlight could suppress the Worgen curse, but it had trapped her here. The Worgen curse might give her freedom, but she didn't want to become Worgen.
The moonlight and the curse reached a delicate balance. Surrounded by the unfamiliar, vast wilderness of night, Zul'ra was caught in a dilemma: whether or not she should accept being tamed by the scythe and turned into a Worgen.
Unbeknownst to her, Zul'ra severed her connection with the power of Elune in the sky, and a flame of rage ignited within her, causing her body to twist and deform.
"Should I become Worgen?" Zul'ra didn't call for Elune's help anymore. She just held up her hands, which were twisting and growing hair, in front of her, struggling internally. She didn't care about the burning anger that was rising in her heart or the pain of her body twisting and deforming.
With a series of crisp cracking sounds, Zul'ra transformed into Worgen, just like the wolf from before, crouching on the black rocks of the wilderness, looking up at the bright moon in the sky, and then looking down at her transformed body.
"So that's how it is..." Zul'ra looked at his deformed body and the spot where he was standing, his consciousness was a little hazy, but suddenly he caught a glimpse of a flash of inspiration. The spot where he was standing was none other than the spot where the giant wolf he had just seen was. That giant wolf was himself, and the so-called Worgen curse was nothing more than the embodiment of anger in human nature.
"I understand." Zul'ra suddenly realized, her fur disappeared, and she returned to her human form. She stood alone on the black rock of the cliff in the wilderness. When she turned her head, she saw the giant wolf from before walking over unharmed in the green mist floating on the cliff. It jumped onto the black rock and stood next to her, and then gently rested its head against her chest.
Zul'ra looked at the docile giant wolf and couldn't help but grin, reaching out to stroke its head. Everyone harbors uncontrollable anger and sorrow, and this anger and sorrow is the source of the Worgen curse. Therefore, everyone is Worgen, and everyone has a wolf in their heart. Taming this wolf is one of the keys to taming the scythe.
"Cough..." Zul'ra looked at the large dog she was petting, and thinking of the key to the Worgen curse, her hand paused slightly. So, she was petting herself now?
Zul'ra found her own thoughts both amusing and exasperating. She patted the giant wolf, then sat cross-legged on the black rock, banishing all her emotions and entering a meditative state. Her consciousness and spirit expanded infinitely, reaching out to the bright moon hanging high in the sky.

The bright moon in the sky, upon contact with Zul'ra's spiritual power, seemed to inflate rapidly, quickly lowering and covering half the sky. Gazing at the hazy moon, the giant wolf crouching beside Zul'ra couldn't help but stretch its neck and howl, as if in a provocation.
The moon, which blotted out the sky, released a cool, clear light, but Zul'ra remained unmoved, meditating in her spiritual world, clearing away the clouds in her heart. Her true soul appeared like a bright pearl, releasing countless rays of light that resonated with the enormous moon above her.
Taming anger is one of the keys to taming the sickle, and accepting true Tranquility is another. True Tranquility is neither clinging to anger nor to deliberate Tranquility, but rather a state of inner peace. The essence of taming the sickle is taming oneself, taming inner anger, and experiencing true Tranquility.
The bright moon descended from the sky, and the black cliffs, the green mist of the forest, and even the giant wolf crouching beside Zul'ra gradually dissipated. Zul'ra's consciousness rose into the sky like a shooting star, and then slowly fell back down. When she opened her eyes again, she was still in her office room in Durnholde, with the Scythe of Elune floating in front of her and the blue and white twin moons hanging in the air outside.
"What do you plan to do in the future?" Zul'ra asked with a smile, looking at the Scythe of Elune floating in front of him. Everything that had just happened was a spiritual world created by the scythe; it was a test, and he had passed it.
The Scythe of Elune floated in the air and swayed slightly before transmitting a message to Zul'ra: "I am naturally willing to follow you."
Zul'ra passed the test of the illusion, and her true soul made contact with the consciousness of the scythe. Therefore, she had a mutual understanding with the scythe and had opened her heart to it. However, the consciousness of this scythe could not communicate with words like a humanoid creature. It could only transmit a little emotional perception, just like the Forest Sword before. It was also influencing Velinde in this way.
"You're not going to care about the Worgen anymore? You lured Velinde here, and now you're not going to care about her either?" Zul'ra asked, grinning as he sensed the scythe's consciousness. He felt sorry for Velinde.
Regardless, the Scythe of Elune's reply was very decisive. It would not return to that woman's side. As for those Worgen, those who were consumed by rage were, in its eyes, beasts, while those who retained their consciousness harbored ill intentions. It did not want to be controlled by such people.
"But you at least have to resolve this matter, otherwise I'll have a lot of trouble in the future. Please help me." Zul'ra rolled her eyes slightly. In response to his words, Sickle turned around, like a child throwing a tantrum, and then arrogantly conveyed a message: Beg me!
"Please." Zul'ra was somewhat amused and exasperated, but still made the request. Although this scythe had existed for thousands of years, it absolutely could not be treated like an adult. It was more like a child who acted according to his own joys and sorrows, and sometimes you had to stroke it gently.
"Then I'll reluctantly agree," the Scythe of Elune bowed its head and yielded to Zul'ra, seemingly responding with a mere thought. But then it remembered that it couldn't respond to Zul'ra with a thought itself, because it couldn't handle the Worgen and Velinde's matter either.
"Come here." Zul'ra wasn't surprised by the Scythe of Elune's reply. Instead, she took it into her hands. She would have to come up with a solution herself, but there were some things she needed to ask for the guy's opinion on.
In response to Zul'ra's words, the Scythe of Elune obediently fell into his hand. Zul'ra held the scythe in his hand and looked at the spiral handle. He couldn't see it before, but now he could see clearly that the handle of the scythe was engraved with countless ancient runes.
