Similarities and Differences
Amanda, seeing Zul'ra Jin point at her, hurriedly stood up, but in her haste, bumped into the table, looking somewhat flustered. Seeing everyone staring at her, she straightened her face and looked at Zul'ra Jin with respect. 👍☺ 🌷★
"Zul'ra Jin, Rada and I agree. The humans of Alterac are of great significance to Amani; they have immense potential." Amanda looked directly at Zul'ra, trying to ignore the disapproving or dismissive looks from her companions.
"Hmm, and then?" Zul'ra nodded without changing her expression and asked.
"But I disagree with Rada's point of view. Rather than preventing the humans of Alterac from escaping our control, we should prevent them from even having such thoughts." Amanda swept her gaze across the crowd, hoping to see some agreement and surprise on their faces, just like Rada had. Unfortunately, most of the people present were dumbfounded.
"Go on," Zul'ra said, understanding the meaning of Amanda's difficult words.
"In other words, we shouldn't try to control Alterac." Amanda looked at the bewildered crowd and put her meaning in a different way. If we don't control Alterac, then he won't have a way to break free. In response to her words, the hunchbacked Rada's eyes flickered slightly.
"Alterac may seem very safe right now, but in reality, it's like an egg placed on a table. Once it starts rolling, it might fall off the table and shatter into pieces." Amanda looked at Zul'ra, comparing Alterac's situation to a pile of eggs.
"Why would you say that?" Zul'ra raised her eyebrows slightly. Durnholde was an important bridgehead, and with the conflict between the Alliance and the Horde, it was indeed not safe here. But where did Amanda get that idea from?
"Because it's dangerous here. The Syndicate seems to control the castle now, but the humans reject us. The arrival of Dalaran's mages has brought even more dissenting voices. The Syndicate has no choice but to rely on us, but their abilities are insufficient to govern this country. This situation will inevitably lead us into trouble sooner or later."
"Then what do you think we should do?" Zul'ra glanced sideways. He had heard about the situation in Dalaran and knew that some mages had been recruited by Alterac, but he hadn't expected those guys to be able to influence the overall situation in Alterac.
"I believe we should give Alterac more help, help them stabilize agriculture, train Warrior, ensure they stand firmly on Amani's side, and shoulder the responsibilities of an ally," Amanda slowly expressed her meaning. She didn't want to control Alterac; they should be treated as equal allies.
"Rada, what do you think!" Zul'ra looked at the hunchbacked Rada, which confused many people present, including Skik and Prag, because to them, Rada and Amanda's opinions seemed to be quite similar.
Although Rada and Amanda's opinions sound similar, they are actually worlds apart. Rada wants to completely control, or even annex, Alterac, while Amanda prefers to support Alterac as an equal ally, which would be beneficial to the future situation. Simply put, one is a hawk and the other is a dove.
"I can't refute Amanda's opinion, but how can we be sure that the Alterac will stand firmly on Amani's side? They are human." Rada raised his objection after a moment of deep thought. His hegemonic mindset was based on racial differences, and he fundamentally distrusted humans.
"We have a very good foundation. Alterac has a different history, which is sometimes despicable, but I think it's in our favor," Amanda interjected. Alterac betrayed the Human Alliance and is now actively aligning itself with Amani, which is a good start.
"Indeed, those historical elements are to our advantage, but they also influence how the Alterac view us." Rada narrowed his eyes. The Alterac had indeed betrayed the Alliance, but let's not forget that the Horde also abandoned them when they needed them. They would even betray their own kind, and if necessary, they would betray the Amani.
"I'm very happy." Zul'ra interrupted Amanda's impending explanation, drawing everyone's attention.
"I'm glad you two have this perspective. Although you think differently, I believe you're both thinking about Amani's best interests, and that makes me happiest." Zul'ra looked at Rada and Amanda, then swept her gaze over everyone else.
"Now I also have some news to announce to you. While Horde is being rebuilt, the Alliance is already sharpening its knives. Yes, that's right, the the Scourge is indeed ravaging the north, but that doesn't mean the Alliance is willing to coexist peacefully with us."
"Just as the Warchief founded Orgrimmar, the humans of Kul Tiras crossed the ocean to Kalimdor and challenged us. We used our superior strength to force them to sign a peace treaty."
"Although a peace treaty has been signed, it does not mean the war is over. The Alliance and the Horde have agreed on a new date for battle. At this moment, the Alliance is gathering its strength, while the Horde has found new allies. The Forsaken the North have been recognized, and I hope that Alterac will also be recognized."
"I know some of you want to say something. True warriors fear no challenge, and I agree. But true warriors possess the magnanimity to earn the admiration of friends and even enemies, and ultimately reap the rewards of victory." Zul'ra stopped Prag, who was about to stand up, with her gaze, paused slightly, and then continued.
"Now, Amanda, I'm about to write a letter. You need to send your opinions along with my letter back to Zul'Aman. As for Rada, I need you to go to Lordaeron as my representative—well, it should be called Undercity now."
"The Forsaken of Undercity are now part of the Horde. I need you to remind them of their responsibilities as members of the Horde. Do you dare?" Zul'ra looked intently at the hunchbacked Trolls.
"For the Horde." Rada bowed slightly. Although his opinion was not accepted and he was sent to Undercity, this was still a form of recognition, much better than being Puskin's subordinate here.
"So, what about Zul'ra Jin Alterac?" Puskin asked, looking at Amanda and Rada who had been assigned to the task. What should be done about Alterac now? The political landscape here has been affected. What policy should Amani adopt?
"I'll stay in Alterac for now!" Zul'ra said. He'll be stationed here to oversee things. As for policies regarding Alterac, the affairs of the Eastern Kingdoms are currently under Broken-Tooth's control, and he can't overstep his authority.
