Inspection
The Aman'Shuli Council had forty-five members, though not all were present. They included former clan leaders, priests, and heads of the military and laborers.
All members of parliament worked together under the direction of Maki, Lostro, and Broken-Tooth to manage Amani's affairs. This group was quite stable and progressive, and should not be interfered with for the time being, but they should not be allowed to remain entrenched in power.
The Aman'Shuli Council is like a horse; it can pull the chariot of Amani forward at breakneck speed, but once they deviate from their original course, it will be a disaster. Therefore, Zul'ra needs a rein to keep them in check.
Without a doubt, the reins that could hold the parliament in place were the army. As Chairman Mao said, political power comes from the barrel of a gun. Zul'ra deeply agreed with this. Therefore, after observing the performance of the Aman'Shuli Council, he began to inspect the military in various parts of Amani.
Because of population issues, the military system of Horde and Amani is a combination of soldiers and farmers, with farmers being the army. However, there are exceptions, such as those formed by recruiting people from various races, who are loyal only to the Warchief, the Kor'kron, and whose members have become professionalized.
Zul'ra himself originally had a Fang Army composed of followers, but as time went by, apart from the Tooth-Soldiers who were often by his side, the others had quietly disappeared into the masses and were assigned to various tasks.
While inspecting military operations in various locations, Zul'ra also met and talked with his former Tooth-Soldiers, including his former adjutant Cook, and Sen'lai, who had once provided military advice to Defias with Senlai and later returned Bakaji Amani.
Those Trolls had once served as Tooth-Soldiers still held Zul'ra in high regard, and they also expressed some dissatisfaction to their leader, namely, their discontent with the current situation in Zul'Aman and their criticisms of the Aman'Shuli Council.
In the past two years, although the Aman'Shuli Council has made great progress in governing and has accumulated a lot of strength, Amani have always been conservative in the face of the threat of the Scourge.
In fact, the conservative attitude towards the Scourge was a policy that Zul'ra had decided on long ago, and it was correct, because the Scourge are born from death. Regardless of the outcome of a battle, as long as someone dies, the the Scourge will be continuously replenished with troops.
Although the policy was correct, the Warrior ' restlessness ultimately prevailed, and this restlessness is often the source of riots and other forms of violence that aim to solve all problems.
Sometimes, if you can't solve the problem, you solve the person who caused it and discovered it. That's how the "Heaven Punishes the Traitors" came about. Fortunately, the Trolls of Amani haven't thought of that yet; they're just a bit grumbling.
Zul'ra, facing the complaints of his former followers, gave a light rebuke, recounting the severity of the current the Scourge. Not to mention Northrend in the north, even the northern part of the Eastern Kingdoms was in complete chaos. He told them, "You common soldiers, don't be blindly radical. Radicalism is unacceptable."
While offering a light rebuke, Zul'ra also couldn't resist praising them. He said, "You know, the north is in complete chaos, while Amani is thriving. This is all thanks to you. I know you're concerned about the bigger picture. Natural the Scourge are the enemy of all life; we need a plan to deal with them. A plan! I already have one."
Zul'ra's plan to deal with the the Scourge was to change the past system of universal conscription and establish a completely new army. This army would not be large, but it would be composed entirely of elite troops and would serve as the force to attack the the Scourge, as well as the army he would use to ensure his rule over Amani.
Faced with Zul'ra's plan, Cook and Bakaji were eager to sign up, but Zul'ra was in no hurry. After inspecting the lower levels, he went to the Bronze Mirror Platform on Sacred Pool Peak.
Sacred Pool Peak is where Zul'ra studied the Light. It was named for the pool where he built a medicine pool to gather the light of the sun, moon, and stars. Later, it was used to train the Sunbearers for the Trolls Priest Sabra, and a platform was created there, which became famous for its Bronze Mirror Platform.
Twenty years after the Dark Portal, Zul'ra obtained the Holy Grail of Paladin from Quel'Thalas, then modified its contents, selecting twenty loyal Tooth-Soldiers and having the Priest Sabra help train the Paladin of Amani, who were also Sunbearers.
The Sunbearers had actually completed their training long ago, but after Zul'ra went to Kalimdor, they were not valued by the Aman'Shuli Council and thus never had a chance to develop their talents, remaining confined to the Bronze Mirror Platform.
The original twenty Tooth-Soldiers trained at the Bronze Mirror Platform are no longer complete. Some of them, unwilling to be alone, have left the Sacred Pool Peak with Sabra's permission to pursue other lives. However, believers seeking the light have also joined them. Therefore, when Zul'ra arrived at the Sacred Pool Peak, there were already eighty-six Sunbearers on the Bronze Mirror Platform.
Even those Sunbearers have recently begun training have been undergoing training for half a year and can summon the Light on their own. What is most commendable is that, despite being neglected, they are trained here and are honest, steady, and willing to obey orders, making them high-quality soldiers.
Zul'ra praised the trained Sunbearers highly and expressed his gratitude to Sabra, who now showed signs of aging. Sabra smiled modestly; this Jungle Trolls had left his tribe for his faith and had now successfully integrated into the Amani.
Zul'ra spoke with Sabra for a long time, telling him about the current situation in Kalimdor. Sabra was very interested in the Darkspear Trolls Darkspear Trolls, by blood, they were a branch of the Gurubashi Jungle Trolls.
Sabra was overjoyed to hear that the Darkspear Trolls had become a member of the Horde, because the Jungle Trolls and Forest Trolls had been at odds since ancient times, and although he was a member of the Horde, he still had the blood of the Gurubashi tribe flowing through his veins.
"Perhaps in the near future, all of us Lai will be able to reunite as we did in ancient times," Sabra said, expressing a hopeful sentiment.
"Perhaps!" Zul'ra didn't comment on the Sabra's pursuit of beauty. All the Trolls might gather together, but the ancient way was out of the question.
The Trolls race is plagued by internal conflicts. Forest Trolls and Jungle Trolls are at odds, and Jungle Trolls are at odds with Desert Trolls. All Trolls look down on Ice Trolls and Dark Trolls. Most importantly, there are the Zandalari Trolls, who place themselves above all other Trolls and despise all of Trolls.
If it weren't for so many conflicts, why would Zul'ra have joined the Horde and gone to such lengths to seek the position of Warchief instead of pursuing the unification of the entire Trolls? Unless faced with a major crisis, the Trolls would have no chance of unification, and under such circumstances, how could Amani possibly compete with the Zandalar above them?
