Bone Dragons and Crypt Fiends
Looking at the female dragon who made no attempt to hide her prejudice, Zul'ra couldn't help but narrow his eyes. He currently knew four dragons: Kalecgos, Tarecgosa, Krasus, and Malygos, and this Malygos was the most repulsive one.
"Well, Malygos came here because the the Scourge's Frost Wyrms exist here." Tarecgosa quickly, seeing that Zul'ra was clearly angry. She wanted to change the subject, but Malygos next to her was not happy about it.
"Now that you know, what are your thoughts? Do you want to help?" Malygos looked at the mortal before her with slight displeasure, her tone laced with sarcasm. A mere mortal dared to inquire about dragons.
"I was going to help, but it seems you don't really need it." Zul'ra glanced at the displeased mother dragon and turned her gaze away.
Malygos was taken aback by his words, then flew into a rage. She felt that this mortal was mocking her, but before she could unleash her anger, she was stopped by Tarecgosa.
"Alright, Malygos, that's very rude of you." Tarecgosa, seeing her companion glaring at Zul'ra, snapped at her, but then, feeling she might be favoring an outsider, she pressed further:
"Are you sure you don't need any help?"
"No need!" Malygos looked at Tarecgosa was smaller than her, and almost fainted. This girl was also mocking her. They all thought that she had no way to defeat those bone dragons, so she would just have to show them.
"Watch closely, see how I defeat those bone dragons!" Malygos grew angrier the more she thought about it, sternly uttering a sentence before her body blazed with blue light, transforming into a Blue Dragonflight that soared into the sky.
"Was she bullied when she was a child?" Zul'ra asked, turning her head to Tarecgosa as she watched the mother dragon roar and fly away.
"I don't know why you would think that?" Tarecgosa somewhat bewildered. How did Zul'ra even know that Malygos had been bullied as a child?
"She's very sensitive, or maybe it's just a coincidence." Zul'ra pouted. This female dragon was a bit arrogant, but not exactly bad. She wouldn't bully others, and she seemed very sensitive when she was angry just now.
"What coincidence?" Anveena, standing beside her, also felt that Zul'ra seemed quite capable, knowing everything.
"She might not be able to handle those bone dragons. Let's go check it out, lest she get herself into trouble." Zul'ra said, then floated up and chased after Malygos, leaving Tarecgosa and Anveena standing there with wide eyes.
"You can fly?" Tarecgosa stared wide-eyed at Zul'ra as she soared into the sky.
"Uh, I can fly, is that wrong?" Zul'ra turned around and shrugged at Tarecgosa below, her face full of innocence.
"You bastard, you can fly, why do you need me to carry you?" Tarecgosa couldn't help but hold her breath.
"A fight has broken out over there, I'm going over there first. What did you say? I didn't hear you." Zul'ra looked at the angry Blue Dragonflight girl below, then turned her head and saw Malygos's dragon body falling in the distance. She quickly threw down a sentence and chased after her.
When Zul'ra arrived, Malygos had already landed in a valley where an Elves- style domed tower stood. The blue mother dragon was now atop the tower, her four claws gripping the eaves, her body sprawled on the arched roof, and her flail-like tail lashed out, striking the tower with a mighty thud.
"Roar!" Malygos roared, lashing the tower with its tail. The Elves building swayed precariously under its tail hammer, but it did not fall. Just as it struck for the sixth time, a white creature suddenly sprang out from the massive tower that could withstand its blows.
Like Malygos's dragon body, but the white creature that sprang out of the tower had no scales or muscles, only stark white bones, and a ball of blue energy wrapped in its chest and tail ribs. It was none other than the Undead bone dragon that Zul'ra had once fought.
Faced with Malygos's direct attack, the bone dragon hiding in the tower sprang out, but Malygos ignored this dead kin, turned around and knocked it away, then used its tail to strike the tower.
"Not just one." Zul'ra's eyebrows twitched slightly. The bone dragon that Malygos had flicked aside with her tail got up and spread its wings to fly up, trying to attack the mother dragon, but was blown away by a breath of frost.
As Malygos unleashed her skeletal dragons, she continued to pound the tower with her tail. At her blows, three more skeletal dragons sprang forth from the tower and, together with their companions, launched an attack on the mother dragon.
Now the mother dragon could no longer safely use her tail to knock on the tower. She was entangled with the four bone dragons in the air. After all, she was a living dragon, and her body was very agile. She easily avoided the four bone dragons and spread her wings to fly towards Zul'ra.
"If you need help, just say so." Zul'ra looked at the mother dragon who had led the bone dragon towards her, and chuckled as she spoke, crossing her wings in the sky.
"Ah." Malygos, with four bone dragons behind her, suddenly spread her wings like parachutes, bringing her massive dragon body to a stop in the air. She then glared at Zul'ra with hatred, as if she would never accept his help, and flew past him, with the four bone dragons following her.
"Hmph!" Zul'ra raised an eyebrow as she watched Malygos turn and fly away, then slowly landed in front of the tower.
The tower is enormous, with a domed roof that resembles a mushroom. It covers hundreds of square meters and is generally white with gold and red openwork along the edges of the walls. However, some parts of the walls are now yellowed and broken, and there are dried bloodstains in some places, indicating that it has been abandoned for a long time.
Zul'ra was very interested in the interior of the tower, so he did not flinch or hide, but instead tried to float in through the tower's huge doors. However, before he could even enter the dark room, he felt a chill rushing towards him.
Along with the biting cold, Zul'ra also felt something unusual under her feet. Looking down, she saw the cracked ground outside the tower door loosen, and stones and soil suddenly turned over, revealing seven monsters emerging from the ground.
The monster that emerged from the ground had its body divided into two parts. The huge rear half had four legs crawling on its underside, while the front half was slightly smaller, with compound eyes and fangs at the top and two half-hanging pincers in the middle. The whole shape resembled both an ant and a spider.
The seven monsters were not only strange-looking, but also very large. After crawling out of the ground, they immediately sprayed white mist from their mouths. The mist condensed upon contact with the wind and formed spider webs, trapping the low-flying Zul'ra tightly.
Zul'ra only realized what was happening after being enveloped in the spider web. He had read about it in the information shared by the Sin'dorei. These were Crypt Fiend, a humanoid spider race from Aini-Nerub. They were called demons because they could burrow underground and kill without mercy. In addition, they were alive and the only race in the the Scourge that could reproduce on their own.
Seven Crypt Fiend used their webs to capture Zul'ra, and their first instinct was to pull him down from the low sky. However, they discovered that the captured Trolls was impossible to drag, and a layer of golden light was rising from his body. The golden light radiated heat, and the sticky, tough, and sword-proof spider webs immediately loosened when exposed to the light.
