Scourge Movements

Under the scorching summer sun, the rice paddies on and around Battleaxe Ridge are ripening day by day, and the summer harvest is fast approaching. Since the devastating the Scourge, Amani's production has been somewhat disrupted, but the summer and autumn harvests have generally continued without issue. However, this time seems different.

In previous years, the the Scourge's main focus was on Silvermoon City on the other side of the Dead Scar, or the Scarlet Crusade in Lordaeron. Only occasionally did some Undead cross the border, which were then eliminated by the Amani'lai. But this year is different. The Undead are concentrated near Andilrin and have begun building Necropolis in the direction of the Dead Scar towards the Sath Valley.

The movements of the the Scourge were discovered by the Giant Deer Army stationed along the Sath Valley and Anowien line. After reporting to Zul'ra, they attempted to send out a small force to eliminate the Scourge as usual, but Zul'ra blocked their advance.

Zul'ra knew himself very well. Apart from being prescient, having some logical thinking and persuasive ability, he was not a peerless general in military affairs. Therefore, he consulted with Lostro and Maki, both of whom were professionals.

Although Lostro is a nightmare Trolls with big hands and feet, he is incredibly shrewd. Combining the current situation, he immediately pointed out that the movements of the the Scourge were unusual.

The Scarlet Crusade in northern Lordaeron has suffered a severe blow to its schism, and the the Scourge has lost its checks and balances. Their current target is undoubtedly to eliminate the main forces capable of resisting the the Scourge, such as the closed-off Gilneas or Amani.

Amani will become a strategic target for the the Scourge's elimination. This is no joke. Zul'ra felt a chill run down her spine when she thought about this. She then asked Maki and Lostro if they had any plans!

"The Scourge is too massive. If they concentrate their forces to attack Amani, we will have no way to deal with it." Lostro shook his head with a calm gaze. The Scourge is much larger than Amani. If they charge at us head-on, we simply cannot withstand it.

"Even so, we have no choice but to fight." Maki's face was equally grim. The Scourge was indeed massive, and Amani would suffer heavy casualties, but they could not surrender because of that.

Zul'ra had a premonition that the situation was deteriorating, but he hadn't expected it to turn out this way. He couldn't imagine what it would be like if those fearless Undead attacked Zul'Aman just like they had attacked Silvermoon City.

"We can't afford to take any chances, so we have no choice but to go all out." Zul'ra felt a bit of a challenge, but when he thought of his identity, he straightened his back. He had always been known as the King of the Amani, and now he had to live up to that title.

"Regardless, we need to face this. Now, let's discuss this: at this stage, the Scourge are still gathering, and they have obvious intentions to attack. Our summer harvest is imminent. If there are any problems with the food, then we won't need the Scourge to attack us; we will be in trouble. Therefore, we must complete the summer harvest first. Do you agree?"

Zul'ra's encouraging words made Maki and Lostro, who had been frowning and racking their brains for a solution, look up at him. After listening to his words and thinking for a moment, they both nodded. The summer harvest was very important, and despite the looming threat of the Scourge, it was imperative to seize it.

"Then we need to make arrangements. We confronted Quel'Thalas back then, just like that. Mobilize everyone to harvest the grain and prepare for a major battle, and impose martial law." Zul'ra gave the order with a serious expression. Amani had also faced difficulties before. He was a man of three swords, but fortunately, he wasn't without any.

"Okay." Maki looked at Zul'ra's serious face and felt as if he had returned to the time when he had just returned from Zandalar and was preparing to work hard for the reform of Amani.

"What happens after the grain is harvested?" Lostro's vision was far-reaching. Perhaps it was easy to reclaim the grain, but what to do afterward required a complete plan. If his plan succeeded, not only Zul'Aman, but even Jintha'Alor would be attacked.

"I've already written to Quel'Thalas, the Argent Dawn, and Orgrimmar on the other side, asking people to make contact everywhere. We are members of the Horde, and the Horde will not abandon us. The Scourge is the enemy of all life, so we need to unite as one." Zul'ra was somewhat glad that he had foreseen this and had already made some preparations in this regard.

"After the summer harvest, I also plan to hold a conference in Anowien to fight against the the Scourge. Not to mention others, Quel'Thalas, the Argent Dawn, and Undercity will not be absent. You know, if Amani falls, they won't be happy." Zul'ra smiled as she thought of her preparations.

"Then it seems we are not alone." Maki couldn't help but laugh. That's true. The Scourge are not only threatening Amani, but also the Horde on the other side. Amani is not fighting alone.

"Zul'ra Jin, are you planning to hold a conference in Anowien?" Lostro asked, his gaze lingering on Zul'ra's words.

"Yes, what's wrong?" Zul'ra asked, noticing Lostro's seemingly knowing thoughts.

"Could this be the reason why the the Scourge has targeted us?" Lostro pondered. Amani convened a meeting to fight the the Scourge, and the the Scourge mobilized its forces. Could it be that the the Scourge has learned about Amani's internal situation?

"That's unlikely!" Zul'ra's eyes flickered as she listened to Lostro's words. Lostro's implication was that there was a spy for the Scourge within Amani.

"Have you sent out invitations to those around you yet?" The more Lostro thought about it, the more likely it seemed. He knew that the information he had obtained from the Sin'dorei indicated that when the the Scourge rose to power in Lordaeron, a large number of humans turned to the Undead. Moreover, there were still humans serving as acolytes and curse mages within the the Scourge's ranks.

"The invitation was handled by Lor'themar of Quel'Thalas, and I'm not aware of that." Zul'ra was slightly embarrassed; he had somewhat neglected his duty in this matter. Although Amani had developed diplomacy with Quel'Thalas and Durnholde, there had been no progress elsewhere.

"I'm afraid the Regent has already extended the invitation on our behalf, so the news leaked from the humans. Of course, we can't rule out the possibility that someone within the Sin'dorei leaked it, since this matter hasn't spread within our own ranks yet." Lostro analyzed the situation, while expressing his displeasure to Zul'ra, who had only just learned about the meeting in Anowien.

"I just finished discussing this with Lor'themar, and I haven't had a chance to tell him yet." Zul'ra sensed Lostro's displeasure and felt a little embarrassed, but he really hadn't had a chance to tell him yet, since the summer harvest hadn't even started when he spoke to Lor'themar.

"Should we inform them about this?" Maki asked. There were the Scourge spies among the Sin'dorei and humans; this matter could be serious or minor. Should they inform them, or perhaps use this to their advantage?

"I think we should discuss this with Lor'themar. The chances of the Sin'dorei leaking information are small, but it's not impossible. Let them investigate secretly. As for the humans, let's not talk about them. Perhaps we can use that information later." Zul'ra's eyes flickered slightly as she made her decision. Lostro and Maki exchanged glances and nodded in agreement.

There was no more at night.
