Purifying Deatholme
The Orcs have made mistakes, that much is undeniable, but to use those mistakes to compete with the Alliance for the Horde is entirely unnecessary. [69shux. com]
Some Orcs and Tauren equate disputes arising from competition for rights with hatred caused by past mistakes. Although the two may sometimes overlap, they are not the same thing. This is a misconception and not conducive to the development of the Horde. Therefore, Zul'ra persuaded Eitrigg and Bovar.
If one truly feels remorse for past historical mistakes, then one should acknowledge and apologize for them in future historical accounts, while also serving as a warning to future generations of the Horde and striving for peace between the Alliance and the Horde. Competing for the Horde while feeling guilty about facing the Alliance will not only fail to make up for the damage caused by past mistakes, but also burden oneself with too much responsibility.
Not to mention Eitrigg, who was an Orcs, even Bovar, who was Tauren, often began to doubt his own position because he carried too much on his shoulders. He wondered if what he was doing was right, and if it was wrong, what should he do? These doubts that had been bothering them slowly dissipated with Zul'ra's persuasion.
Just as Zul'ra was trying to persuade Eitrigg and Bovar because of ideological problems within the Horde, the summer harvest in Amani was slowly coming to an end. Zul'ra had originally planned to use the free time afterward to convene a meeting to discuss cooperation with Silvermoon City, Undercity, and the Argent Dawn to fight against the the Scourge, but now that was no longer possible.
Naxxramas, like the Sword of Damocles; Deatholme, nearby and occupied by the the Scourge; Dar'Khan, the Silvermoon City traitor lurking there, the Scourge eyeing Anveena; and the large number of Undead gathered near the Howling Necromantic Tower —these forces threatening Zul'Aman and even the entire Amani kingdom did not allow Zul'ra to waste any more time on the meeting.
Before the summer harvest ended, Zul'ra ordered Lostro and Maki at the front to prepare for an attack. He also sent a formal request for assistance to Silvermoon City. This was a formal notification, not a private plea for help, nor an announcement of Dar'Khan's survival.
Because of news of Dar'Khan's survival and the acquisition of Horde membership, Lor'themar officially responded to Zul'ra's request for assistance, stating that Quel'Thalas would send a Archmage' Order and Blood Knights to aid in the battle. He also conveyed a message from the Argent Dawn, Argent Dawn would also lend their support in this wave of battle.
After shaking off their fanatical companions from the Scarlet Crusade, the Argent Dawn has always maintained a steadfast stance in the fight against the the Scourge, setting aside other aspects. This has even garnered them some help from Gnomes and Dwarves, and some Sin'dorei volunteers have joined them. Their assistance was not unexpected for Zul'ra, but it was the Undercity that surprised him.
After the battle to retake Silvermoon City, apart from the racial conflict and riots triggered by Dalaran, there really wasn't much news coming out of Undercity. This time, Lor'themar didn't bring up their news, but Zul'ra wasn't going to let them off so easily.
Zul'ra asked Eitrigg to inform the Forsaken stationed there by Tranquillien that the Horde's attitude towards the the Scourge had been demonstrated, and the Forsaken, as members of the Horde and those targeted by the the Scourge, had to make a statement. The Banshee Shalindra, stationed there, on behalf of the Banshee Queen, said that she would lend her strength to help in the battle.
After gathering all the available allies, the last bit of summer harvest was brought together. The Giant Deer Army, stationed in the town of Sath Valley, along with three thousand temporarily recruited adult Warrior, cooperated with the Forsaken, Blood Knights, and Archmage who had launched an attack from Tranquillien to annihilate the large number of Undead gathered at the Howling Necromantic Tower.
The battle lasted for two days. The large number of Undead troops gathered at the Howling Necromantic Tower were completely scattered. After a short rest, the troops immediately began to head south, eliminating all the Scourge they saw along the Dead Scar. They first eliminated the the Scourge troops stationed on the Thalassian Pass, and after joining up with the Argent Dawn forces in the south, they launched a general offensive against Deatholme.
The battle proceeded very smoothly, and within a week, the allied forces had surrounded Deatholme, which was built in the Thalas Mountains. However, the next offensive was not launched immediately.
The once- Elves town of Deatholme was shrouded in an orange-gray plague fog. However, this was not the reason why the allied forces halted their offensive. The allied forces were prepared for such measures, but the reason they did not immediately launch an attack was that Zul'ra was preparing to use a ritual to purify the city of its pollution.
The entire Deatholme was shrouded in poisonous fog. The allied soldiers could have easily stormed the city with the prepared potions and cleared away the swarming Undead, but that wouldn't have solved the pollution problem. The allied forces would have had to withdraw immediately after clearing out the Undead.
Reclaiming a completely useless city was not what Zul'ra wanted, so after observing the corruption of Deatholme with his divination, he decided to use a ritual to purify the city.
The harsh environment of Deatholme is a complex situation caused by the curse and contamination of life by the Scourge, and the poisoning of the earth's natural environment by biochemical substances. This is extremely difficult to resolve because the curse of life can only be lifted by holy magic, while the poisoning of biochemical substances can only be neutralized by the power of natural elements.
Zul'ra's extensive knowledge of mystical schools found its use in the harsh environment of Deatholme, where he gathered Priest from the Sin'dorei and the Argent Dawn, as well as Witch Doctor from Zul'Aman.
The priests, under the protection of the allied forces, began their magical ritual.
The strong Tooth-Soldiers erected nine large cauldrons as tall as themselves, and the Witch Doctor filled them with clean spring water, herbs, and water from the Sacred Pool. Then the Sin'dorei Archmage lit the flames, the Priest infused the potions in with the Light, and finally the priests recited prayers, asking for the help of the Loa.
Amidst sacred prayers and hymns to the gods, the potions in the nine large cauldrons churned continuously, releasing thick, transparent steam. Above the city of Deatholme, a silvery cloud rapidly expanded, enveloping a large portion of the sky.
As the head of the ceremony, Zul'ra was not idle while the Witch Doctor, priests, and Priest were busy. Dressed in a loose and elaborate robe and with a jade headband on his head, he stood on a temporary platform made of earth, holding a gleaming silver Forest Sword in his right hand and a banner in his left, on which a silver-scaled white snake was embroidered.
"Little Zul'ra, it's been a long time." Just as Zul'ra stood quietly on the high platform, watching the mercury clouds in the sky rapidly spread and cover a large area of the sky, a will descended around Zul'ra, forming a giant silver-scaled python in a field of vision that ordinary people could not see with their naked eyes.
"Yes! It's been a long time, merciful goddess." Zul'ra smiled and nodded as she looked at Ulathek, who was coiled around the stone platform with his white body and his serpent head facing her.
"You've grown! Grown into a great king. Shall I congratulate you?" Ulathek's tone was light and teasing, his almond-shaped snake eyes filled with amusement, and his scaly lips curled slightly upward.
"Merciful goddess, I am here to ask for your help." Zul'ra ignored Ulathek's flippancy and solemnly made her request.
"Hmm..." Ulathek groaned softly, its serpent head slightly raised, its cold serpentine eyes looking down at the troll on the high platform below, who was dressed in elaborate costumes, holding a sword in one hand and a Trolls in the other.
There's nothing left at night.
