Setting the Record Straight
Faced with Dar'Khan's taunts, Candiris and the others silently increased their magical output, hoping to use their frostfire to burn away the opponent's magical fire and finish him off, but the opponent remained incredibly steady. ♙♕ 😲✌
"Don't you all agree with me that in the eyes of those old bastards, and even that Sun King, achievement is always determined by birth?" Dar'Khan blocked the frost fire from all sides, his mocking words making Candiris and the others' hearts pound and their faces turn red at a visible speed.
Not only Candiris, but also the humans and Sin'dorei Priest maintaining the Light dome around them, as well as the Amani'lai watching the battle, all had expressions of shame or strange looks. An indescribable atmosphere spread among them, and many people looked at the Sin'dorei beside them with a scrutinizing gaze.
"In Quel'Thalas, if you don't have a proper lineage, then even the greatest talent is wasted. The Quel'dorei are corrupt..." Dar'Khan accurately grasped the audience's psychology.
"Enough!" Candiris roared, and the icy blue frost fire instantly suppressed the green flames.
"What, you're not convinced, Candiris? Am I wrong?" Dar'Khan faced the enraged Candiris, his tone becoming increasingly sarcastic. He silently channeled his magic, and the surrounding magical fire effortlessly blocked the frost fire.
"I say you're wrong." A solemn voice suddenly cut off Dar'Khan's words, causing the onlookers to turn in the direction of the voice, and then they all made way for Zul'ra, who was holding a long banner, to come forward.
"What right do you, a traitor, have to judge Quel'Thalas?" Zul'ra stared at the Elves traitor inside, manipulating demonic fire to provoke his opponent, through the barrier of the Light.
"It's you." Dar'Khan recognized the Trolls who walked out of the crowd, dressed in a magnificent robe and holding a long banner.
"Perhaps it's inappropriate for me to say this, but Dath'Remar sailed east and single-handedly established Quel'Thalas. The influence of Silvermoon City on the entire Eastern Kingdoms, and the achievements of the Quel'dorei, cannot be denied by a vermin like you. And I, as Amani'lai who has been an enemy of Quel'Thalas for thousands of years, am willing to acknowledge the era led by the Sunstrider."
Zul'ra didn't respond to Dar'Khan's words, but instead righteously refuted Dar'Khan's point of view. Faced with his words, the onlookers fell into deep thought. It wasn't that he spoke so eloquently; the Quel'dorei had indeed had a tremendous impact on the Eastern Kingdoms over the past six thousand years.
The ancestors of the Quel'dorei, the Night Elves of Dath'Remar, Sisterhood of Elune for their inability to abandon magic. They crossed the sea to the Eastern Kingdoms, but they brought many advanced technologies to the Eastern Kingdoms, not only magic, but also social structures and life sciences.
With the help of the advanced technology brought by the Quel'dorei, the ancestors of mankind, the flesh-and-blood Vrykul, were able to survive and expand. Their hostility towards the Amani Trolls created the time and opportunity for mankind to unify and rise.
Even the later Troll Wars, the establishment and fragmentation of the Empire of Arathor, the rise of Lordaeron, and the establishment of the magical federation of Dalaran all drew on the monarchical council structure of Quel'Thalas in terms of political system. The influence of the Quel'dorei on the Eastern Kingdoms is extremely profound.
In contrast to the contemplation of the crowd, Dar'Khan, at the center of the incident, was completely bewildered by Zul'ra's sharp retort. He had never expected that Zul'ra, Amani Trolls who had only fought him once, would stand up for the Quel'dorei at this moment.
I once heard a saying, "When I was born, our country was like this; that was our helplessness. But when my child is born, my country is still like this; that is my incompetence."
"Dar'Khan Drashir, which do you consider yourself? Helpless or incompetent? No, you are neither. You are shameless. You believe you have unfulfilled ambitions and useless talents, yet you have never even considered changing the country. You have achieved nothing in your life, and you have even betrayed your country and race, becoming a dog of the Lich King, fawning over him, yet you stand here spouting nonsense. I have never seen such a shameless person as you."
Zul'ra faced Dar'Khan and avenged himself for the defeat he had suffered years ago. However, he still felt a sense of regret and unsatisfaction at the end. The Common of this world, as well as many other languages, were far too simple, unlike the profound and complex Chinese language. Otherwise, Dar'Khan should have been coughing up blood and dying by now.
"This man is truly shameless." Faced with Zul'ra's impassioned speech, the onlookers couldn't help but feel ashamed of their previous doubts about Quel'dorei. When they looked at Dar'Khan, who was surrounded but still had the courage, they no longer had any fear of the demonic fire he had unleashed. All that remained on their faces and in their eyes was contempt and disgust.
If Dar'Khan was initially bewildered, then Zul'ra's subsequent words felt like stabs to his heart. The gazes of the onlookers only intensified his emotional turmoil, making him feel as if he were being roasted on a fire.
As the magical energy around Dar'Khan fluctuated, gaps appeared in the magical fire protection surrounding him. Candiris cast a spell, manipulating a wisp of frost fire to slip through the opening. The icy blue flames touched the flames, and Dar'Khan was instantly ignited like a human torch.
Frostfire and Dar'Khan's Drashir Fel Fire are the same magical flames, belonging to the high-level Arcane magic. This flame combines the characteristics of ice and fire. The effects of Frostfire vary from Arcane mage to arcane mage. For example, when Candiris's Frostfire burned Dar'Khan, it seemed as if he would be engulfed in flames, but Dar'Khan's clothes were not burned off, and he did not struggle at all, because his joints were frozen stiff.
Dar'Khan, who had been stared at by everyone and felt as if he were being roasted by a fire, suddenly felt that sensation vanish under the biting cold after being touched by the frost. He stood frozen in place, like a human-shaped blue torch. After his withered muscles and decaying bones were frozen through, the heat of the flames began to penetrate from the outside in, and his body began to melt in the blue flames.
"Contain and destroy those green demonic flames!" After landing a successful attack, Candiris quickly rallied his companions to surround the green Drashir Fel Fire with frostfire.
Each type of magical flame has different characteristics. Some magical flames even possess life. Once released, they burn everything in their path, eventually causing unimaginable consequences. Therefore, not only must they be used, but they must also be handled with caution. The seven Archmage, including Candiris, surrounded Dar'Khan's magical flame with frost fire, allowing the two to burn each other and neutralize each other.
While Candiris and the others were dealing with the demonic fire, Dar'Khan, the master of the demonic fire, had already burned like a candle, half of his body melting away in the icy blue frost. This Elves traitor seemed to have given up resisting, and everyone thought they were watching him die, until Zul'ra spoke up.
"Dar'Khan, with me here today, you can't escape." Zul'ra looked at the blue humanoid torch that seemed to have given up resisting, and gently waved the embroidered snake banner in her hand, with wisps of cloud invisible to the naked eye drifting out from the banner.
There was no more at night.
