Nozdormu
"What is that guy? He looks like the one I fought before. 🐸☆ ♢🍬" Zul'ra looked at Anachronos, who was being held down by the claws of a creature called Soridormi, and asked Chromie with a curious expression and in his mind.
"These guys are Infinite Dragonflight, a newly emerged alien dragon race. It's better if you don't know the rest." Chromie led the way for Zul'ra with his short legs, not wanting to say too much.
"But the problem is he says he's the one who reforged the Scepter of the Shifting Sands." Zul'ra blinked.
"He wasn't the one who reforged the Scepter of the Scepter of the Shifting Sands, at least not the current one. Quick, come this way." Chromie, unwilling to say more, refuted Anachronos's earlier statement and led him to a portal. The two of them passed through the portal together.
"Hmm, it's quite nice that you're still standing next to me this time." Zul'ra smiled as she looked at the little girl who was still standing beside her after they passed through the portal.
"Where can I go if I'm not by your side?" Chromie spread her little hands out to Zul'ra.
"How would I know where you're going!" Zul'ra looked around and saw that she was in a dry, warm, and comfortable underground place, which should be an underground cave.
Above us was a cluster of stalactites, but the spacious cavern on either side was filled with various stone carvings. These carvings included humanoid creatures, animals, flowers, and plants. Although they looked like sculptures, a closer look revealed that they were all naturally formed.
"Come here." Chromie led Zul'ra through the stone carvings. Zul'ra could see that in the corners of the cave statues, there were many things piled up: piles of ancient gold coins, pottery and porcelain, weapons and armor, and some inscriptions on the rock walls. These things all looked like antiques, real antiques.
"The Lord of Time, Zul'ra has brought you here." Just as Zul'ra was looking around, Chromie's words pulled him back to his senses. He looked up and saw a bronze dragon lying on a pile of gold coins in a corner of the cave. No, to be precise, it should be a phantom, the Bronze Dragon Aspect, the phantom of Nozdormu, the guardian of time.
Nozdormu's body was covered in golden scales that shimmered like starlight, its form appearing almost ethereal. Yet, this did not prevent observation of it. Brown fur grew on its neck, and the horns on its nose and head, as well as the keratin on its back, wings, and claws, had all turned brown. Beneath the blue light in its eyes were a pair of pale green eyes. Facing Chromie, it remained motionless, as if asleep.
"King of Time." Zul'ra looked at the seemingly sleeping dragon, glanced at Chromie, and at her prompting, despite the urge to cramp her legs, carefully stepped forward to greet him. This dragon king was enormous; his head alone, lying on the ground, was five times his height.
"Zul'ra of Amani..." The dragon lying on the gold coins remained unmoved, only barely turning its eyes to look at Zul'ra, uttering a cold human voice.
"Yes, it's me." Zul'ra looked at the dragon, who seemed incredibly old but whose voice was cold and powerful, and nodded. Nozdormu was the eldest of the five Dragon Aspect.
"This is really interesting." Nozdormu looked at the diminutive Trolls and slightly raised his head.
"Uh..." Zul'ra looked at the enormous beast, which, though only a phantom, raised its head and exuded immense power. She felt a little afraid and forced a confused look onto her face.
"I tried to trace your footsteps in the flow of time, but I found that those 'you' were either ordinary or died young, while those 'you' with abilities had an unparalleled sense of foresight and always managed to avoid my gaze. This is the first time you have come before me."
"You want to see me? I'm honored, but which version of me do you want to see?" Zul'ra maintained her composure, not trying to decipher the meaning behind Nozdormu's words, but instead remaining respectful and asking the question.
"You are cunning and astute, but you are a righteous man. The world needs you." Nozdormu rested his head back on the pile of gold coins, ignoring Zul'ra's question, and instead uttered a string of nonsense in a detached tone.
"I am willing to Consecration this world, just as you have done for it." Zul'ra looked at the dragon phantom lying down again, maintaining a humble attitude as he pledged his loyalty to this powerful figure. Who knows what justice these Bronze Dragons have? It's better to cling to their dragon legs than to become a champion of justice; that would definitely make you a champion of justice.
"I heard you. If you have any questions, go ask Chromie!" Nozdormu didn't bother to look up. His originally cold and youthful voice became ethereal and shifting, gradually fading into silence.
"Let's go!" Chromie nodded habitually, looking at the motionless phantom, and told Zul'ra to follow him away.
Faced with Chromie's words, Zul'ra dared not say anything more and could only follow her away, leaving only Nozdormu's phantom sleeping in the dragon's lair filled with antiques and gold coins.
"What does 'King of Time' mean?" Zul'ra asked the little Bronze Dragons loli as she left the dragon's lair with Chromie.
"It means I'll be asking you for help often from now on, and we're practically family now," Chromie said to Zul'ra with a friendly smile.
"Where did you learn that tone of voice?" Zul'ra blinked as she looked at the little girl with a sly grin. Had this little girl traveled to some other time period?
"Really!" Chromie feigned surprise, then quickly composed herself.
"Never mind, I'll contact you if I need anything in the future."
"Then what am I?" Zul'ra looked at Chromie, who looked like he'd found a free thug, and couldn't help but secretly curl her lip.
"They're on our side!" Chromie exclaimed without hesitation.
"Are there any benefits for our own people?" What Zul'ra wanted was someone who was on the same side as the Bronze Dragons. They wouldn't harm her, and she would have to rely on herself to ensure the history. But then a problem arose: if she was going to do the work, she should at least be given some benefits!
"What do you want? I have no money." Chromie patted his robe, indicating that he had no money.
"I'm not interested in money." Zul'ra sensed a change in Chromie's tone; he was talking about money instead of gold coins. But even if he did talk about gold coins, he wouldn't care. He wasn't short of funds at the moment; he needed something more valuable.
"Alright, alright! I know what you want. Come, come with me to see Alurmi and Indormi." Seeing that Zul'ra wouldn't give up until she got what she wanted, Chromie led Zul'ra to find them.
"But we need to agree on this first: we'll give you things, and you'll give us some gold in return."
"What do you need gold for, like the Time King?" Zul'ra thought of the Dragon Cave in Nozdormu, which was truly extravagant, filled with antiques, and even the bed was made of gold coins.
