Battle Plan
The impending decisive battle against the Legion, ending the demonic threat to the world, should have been a good thing. However, the involvement of Kul Tiras Admiral Daelin Proudmoore has made even Jaina and Leoric uneasy, let alone Zul'ra. 💢🐳 ♔★
If it weren't for the possibility of hurting someone, Zul'ra really wanted to talk to Jaina and see if she could persuade her old father not to come. There was no way around it; who knew if that guy might suddenly have a brain fart on the battlefield and attack the Horde? The possibility was small, but if he caused trouble, it would be a huge disaster.
Although she couldn't ask directly, Zul'ra, just to be on the safe side, still subtly inquired of Jaina what her elderly father wanted to do at the front lines.
Jaina was also very troubled by her elderly father, but she still explained the situation to Zul'ra: Kul Tiras was currently researching a new weapon, and this was just a trial run against the Legion.
When Jaina replied to the question about Kul Tiras's new weapons, Zul'ra couldn't help but raise an eyebrow. He had industrialized the Horde, and although the Alliance was in a loose state, they didn't seem to be letting their guard down. Kul Tiras had even created new weapons; he wondered what they were!
"Our weapons are only for protecting the people," Jaina explained, noticing Zul'ra's somewhat subtle expression.
"This isn't directed at the Horde," Leoric chimed in. He was a high-ranking nobleman in Stormwind. Although he deeply resented the Old Horde, Stormwind was currently unstable internally, and after siding with the Horde twice, news of the Orcs was no longer circulating. For both reasons, he didn't want to see another war.
"Yes, I know, but Jaina, may I ask about your father's current attitude?" Zul'ra looked at Jaina, who was nodding along with Leoric, suppressed her twitching eyebrows, and casually changed the subject.
"Well... Father has always avoided this topic with me. Derek Proudmoore's death was a huge blow to him." Jaina's expression fell as she listened to Zul'ra's words.
"I cannot excuse what happened in the past. Horde Horde does bear undeniable responsibility for these matters, but it is trying to make amends for its past mistakes and hopes that we can maintain peace." Zul'ra sighed softly. The Old Horde had left behind a trail of unresolved issues.
"I have high hopes for peace, and I will not give up until the very last moment. We cannot just dwell on the past." Jaina nodded emphatically to Zul'ra, indicating that she would stand on the side of peace, but she reserved her obligations as a member of Theramore as a member of the Alliance.
"We all want peace, but let's talk about that after the war!" Leoric shook his head slightly, forcefully bringing the topic back on track. Although he also supported peace, the war wasn't over yet, so peace should wait until later.
"Well, speaking of which, is there anything we can do for the upcoming decisive battle?" Zul'ra looked at the Duke of Stormwind, addressing his question.
"Of course, we already have three thousand muskets that have been destroyed, and we're running low on ammunition. Besides, I feel we can't place too much hope in the Goblins technology," Leoric briefly explained his current concerns.
"Alright, I'll send a telegram later, instructing Orgrimmar to deliver the remaining five thousand muskets, along with an additional 150,000 rounds of fel iron ammunition. As for the Goblins technology, I already invited technicians from Silvermoon City before coming here." Zul'ra nodded, then looked at Jaina.
"I will be responsible for delivering these weapons to the front lines. Also, is there anything else needed at the front?" Jaina nodded to Zul'ra, then asked Leoric.
"... Ms Jaina, perhaps you and Zul'ra Jin should stay on the front lines. We need to finalize the battle plan before Daelin arrives." Leoric pondered for a moment, then invited Zul'ra and Jaina to remain on the front lines. With these two peace-loving leaders, the situation could be brought under control in case of any unforeseen circumstances.
"I have no problems, I just need to find the telegraph operator," Zul'ra immediately assured everyone that she was alright.
"Me too. The matter of transporting the weapons can be handled by Ms. Modera and Rhonin. This can also be reported via telegram." Jaina looked at Zul'ra and raised her eyebrows slightly.
"Telegraphs seem really useful." Leoric voiced half of Jaina's thoughts, while the other half of his thoughts were a sigh in his heart, wondering why the Horde knew how to use such a useful tool.
"Of course, but we need to find a telegraph operator and a radio station first." Zul'ra smiled at Leoric and Jaina. The Alliance can manufacture weapons, and so can the Horde.
Among the Horde forces that arrived at the Dark Portal, whether it was Thrall's advance force or the Warsong Orcs ' rear support, each unit carried a dedicated telegraph operator and radio. However, these personnel were not in Outland, but remained only on the Eastern Kingdoms.
While radio has shortened the distance of communication, it also has its drawbacks, namely the limited transmission distance of radio waves. Currently, the Horde has only managed to connect the two continents through signal towers and ships traveling at sea. To connect the two worlds, this technology still needs improvement.
From the Blasted Lands, Zul'ra found the waiting telegraph operator and had him relay the messages back via telegram. Then she turned to Jaina and Leoric to discuss the matter. Although the news of Daelin's impending arrival was unsettling, Leoric's assessment of the Alliance's general situation—that they didn't want to argue with the Horde —was a good sign.
Because the matter of the final battle needed to be discussed, the leaders of all sides quickly returned from the front lines. Thrall, Aggra, and Krumsh represented the Horde; Tirion Fordring and Darion Mograine represented the Argent Dawn; Reginald Windsor of the Alliance, the Twin-Braided General of Ironforge, Farlos of Kul Tiras, Solka, the commander of the Goblins mercenaries, and Naisha of the Cenarion Expedition, among others, were from the Stormwind.
In addition to the current commanders, there are Leoric, Jaina, and Zul'ra, as well as Archmage Rommath who arrived later after being notified, the Goblins scientist representative Feslag, and engineering expert Womisa, among others.
After a brief introduction, the group began to discuss the matter, starting with Grand Archmage Rommath and his entourage to determine the safety of the goblins' process of Goblins the portal.
Having confirmed the safety of the Goblins technology and with the Goblins ' guarantee that the machine would be completed by tomorrow, everyone began discussing the final battle plan. Whether it was Thrall, Zul'ra, Leoric, or Jaina, they all hoped to finalize the plan before the admiral arrived.
