The Horde People's Wild Ideas

Offering up one's own schemes at the Assembly of Honor, contributing a plan for the Horde's future—this was a supreme honor. Every attendee thought so, and thus they racked their brains. Then it was Zul'ra and the Horde's standing committee members and leaders who had to scratch their heads.

Zul'ra believed that the suggestions submitted by those conference delegates had all been carefully considered, and that their intentions had probably been good. Yet their proposals were rather awkward—for example, returning farmland to pasture and restoring old traditions; protecting the environment by shutting down polluting steel mills; abolishing Common and the Common script; banning other races from entering Horde territory; having the central bank hand out money to Horde citizens; and so on.

The wildly imaginative suggestions from the Assembly of Honor attendees made Zul'ra immensely grateful that, before his transmigration, electoral democracy had already declined, and that he did not worship that system. Otherwise, if these proposals were put to a public vote and passed, he would have to find somewhere to cry!

Although the delegates' ideas and way of thinking did not suit the Horde's development, it was still a good thing that they could offer such suggestions. These proposals reflected both some of the Horde's current problems and the intellectual progress of its people.
