They had basically taken control of Zin-Azshari, with only the Queen's Palace still making its final stand; they had sent troops against Suramar, the City of Magic, and though they had failed for the moment, every Suramar citizen knew the demons would certainly return; they had also advanced against another powerful group—the demigods. Their purpose was self-evident: to wipe out every force of resistance.
As the Kaldorei's strongest city-state, how could Eldre'Thalas simply watch as its empire and civilization were ruthlessly destroyed by demons? It was merely waiting, waiting for a better opportunity to strike its enemies a harder blow.
At Eldre'Thalas's City Hall, the ruling Princess Sophia was conducting the final mobilization before the war.
"Daphne, how are the troops doing?"
"Other than the Great Wall Legion, every army in Eldre'Thalas is fully prepared."

"There is no problem at all, my Princess. Unless Eldre'Thalas is breached, we can afford to feed every refugee in Kalidom. Military supplies are even less of a concern. We are the model of an industrialized military power—however much they consume, I can provide. We fear no form of war! Eldre'Thalas has that confidence!"
