With an angry shout, Eonar sent green energy spreading from her staff. Several War Mothers charging forward were repeatedly driven back by the blast. Just as they tried to rush in again, several plants appeared before them. They were trees. After growing wildly into towering giants within the forest, the War Mothers and surrounding demons watched in astonishment as the trees tore their roots from the earth and used them as legs. Branches intertwined to form arms, and then, to their horror, facial features appeared on the trunks.
Looking at the demons stunned senseless by the sight before them, Eonar said sharply:
"Forest Guardians! Destroy them!"
"Roar!" The treants actually let out deep, resounding roars as well, then charged at the surrounding demons. The earth trembled beneath their feet, and the demons were thrown into disarray by these enormous warriors that had suddenly appeared.
"Do not retreat, you trash! I'll deal with them!" The leading Eredar Witch gathered Fel magic in her hand. After charging it up, she hurled it fiercely into the treants. Fel flames erupted among them, instantly swallowing several treants.
"See? Nothing worth mentioning! Demons, attack!" The Eredar Witch laughed arrogantly. Suddenly, a War Mother beside her warned, "My lady, look over there!"
Following the direction her subordinate pointed, she saw that the fallen treants were indeed dead. But their trunks rapidly broke down and merged into the earth. Then, more saplings burst from the ground and grew at an astonishing rate. Before the Eredar Witch's eyes, even more giant treants were born.
"What? Th-That's impossible!" The Eredar Witch screamed. Seeing the disbelief on her enemy's face, Eonar said disdainfully:
"You? You want to stand against nature? My servants! Destroy them!"
