As the dust settled, a man in white robes stood before Aman'Thul, the axe in his hand desperately holding back Sargeras's descending sword.
At the sight of those familiar clothes, Sargeras pressed down fiercely with his sword, then used the rebounding force to leap back. Dispelling the sword, he leaned on his staff and spoke to the descending figure.
"Vanidak, so it was you!"
"Of course, Sargeras. Perfect—I've got some old debts to settle with you!" Vanidak pulled back his hood, revealing the face he had kept hidden beneath it for so long. After helping Aman'Thul to his feet, Vanidak said coldly, "Sargeras, you've disappointed me."
"Disappointed? How so?" Sargeras seemed intrigued as well.
"Mardum. That's what you called it, right?" Vanidak spun the axe in his hand and said to Sargeras, "When I gave you its star map, I never imagined you'd treat it like this, you bastard!"
