Konoha's ANBU ninja rushed to Konoha Forest to investigate the cause of the earth-shattering explosion.
When the ANBU ninja arrived at the blast site, they saw the massive crater. Some Root ninja corpses lay scattered around it, but without exception, they had all been burned into charcoal. Most of the Root ninja had not even left bodies behind, having been reduced directly to ash.

Some of the ANBU ninja looked at the desolate land stretching for miles, their faces filled with shock. "What terrifying damage. If those explosions had happened in the village, I don't dare imagine the consequences."
Kakashi spotted several pools of dark red blood and a freshly severed arm and leg.
Kakashi carefully examined the severed arm and said with a familiar look, "This arm looks a little like Danzo's, and this leg looks like Danzo's too. Danzo only had two legs and one arm in total. Now he only has one leg left."
Kakashi suddenly remembered something and immediately said, "Go check Konoha Prison. See whether Danzo escaped."
At that moment, a masked ANBU ninja came directly before Kakashi and said, "Captain, Konoha Prison was invaded. All the guards were killed, and Danzo and the Shimura Clan members escaped."
After hearing his subordinate's report, Kakashi said gravely, "Continue investigating. Hunt down every Shimura Clan member and bring them back. They are all war criminals."
