In the Webway, however, there are no such concerns. Because the Webway forms its own distinct system, it remains disconnected from the outside world despite being constructed through the Warp. Neither the physical universe nor the Warp can exert control over it.

During the Great Crusade, although Emperor didn't find the right method and had to rely on the Evil Orcs—those "concrete-pouring boys"—to build a Webway path only slightly better than a dirt road, it still consumed a massive amount of resources from the crusade era.

Now, with the Whirlwind Poison Dragon Drill, an artifact specifically designed for excavating the Webway, material consumption has been drastically reduced.
