Seeing Hogg go off the rails again, Zoffy pursed his lips helplessly. Even as a clone, he had to admit that his original was pretty shameless. Pulling a fast one on people was one thing, but repeating the exact same lines? That was just lazy.
But Zoffy had a good sense of people. He immediately turned around and praised Hogg for a job well done, saying that everything was the Emperor's fault. The entire bridge filled with the two master and servant's unrestrained laughter.
But before they could laugh for long, a Blackwatch Shield Guard wheeled out with a cart piled high with documents and said to Hogg:
"Father, these are today's Blackwatch supply-transfer manifests that need your signature. The Second Princess has been after me about them for ages. If you don't get to work soon, I'm guessing another cartload will be here any minute."
Looking at the stack of paperwork, which was over five meters tall, Hogg felt his soul leave his body. In the past, Emilia had handled everything. He never had to do this sort of work. At most, he'd put in a few days of overtime, acting as a signing servitor, and then coast through the rest.
But once the Great Crusade began, a day's workload was worth a year's. These documents had to be signed by him, the Primarch, before they could be filed away. Otherwise, some of the Legions wouldn't recognize them.
"Couldn't Emilia handle this stuff? Even Lynn would do. They're the Legion Commanders, after
