Old Man Yellow often said this to the Primarchs to show that he was still human. And the truth was, he hadn't left humanity behind.

Though he was always teasing the Emperor, the Emperor really was human. He had none of the unusual organs or anatomy that set Primarchs apart from ordinary people. He was a pure-blooded human—perhaps the oldest-blooded one in the entire Imperium of Man.

Of course, with a four-meter-tall golden giant standing before you, you'd have to be blind to call him an ordinary man. No one would say something that ridiculous otherwise.

As the Imperium's greatest Big Mek, Hogg had given Old Man Yellow a thorough examination when he was transporting him. Combined with the tissue samples Hogg had secretly stashed away long ago, he could state with complete impartiality that, genetically speaking, the Emperor was human.

The boy born in the ancient past on Earth, in the region of Asia Minor, hadn't changed. He was still that primitive man, without extra hearts or lungs, and without a second dick growing between his legs. He had pretty much the same set of organs as anyone else.

But when it came to physical strength, Old Man Yellow was decidedly unscientific. Perhaps it was because of the way his powerful psychic energy had saturated him, but his bones were harder than any metal Hogg knew of. Even without genetic modification, his bare-handed strength was enough to knock out a little Primarch with a single punch.

In a one-on-one duel, Hogg was confident he could pin Old Man Yellow down with nothing but his fists and make him kneel and call him Daddy. But with that outrageously powerful psychic ability thrown into the mix, Hogg figured he'd never get ahead in life.
