Guilliman slammed the documents in his hand onto the desk and demanded furiously of the man sitting opposite him, "Frank, what are you doing?!"

".What did I do this time?"

Frank frowned. "You told me to retake that ship. I retook it—what's the problem?"

Guilliman's face twitched.

"That was a new-model ship that had only come off the production line three years ago." Guilliman's voice seemed to squeeze out from between his teeth. "All the technology aboard was new, and you smashed most of its facilities to pieces."

"That isn't my problem. You need to reflect on yourself, Guilliman."

Frank remained calm. "If I remember correctly, you were the one who sent that ship to transport supplies to that place. It getting seized by Orks isn't my problem. It's not as if you don't know how troublesome those Orks are. In fact, most of the damage to the facilities wasn't even my doing."

After a long silence, Guilliman sighed.

What else could he say? Frank could always give solid answers and reasons, and he could always do things that made his blood pressure spike while leaving him utterly helpless.

Like last time, when he had sent Frank to investigate a planetary governor suspected of corruption, only for Frank to simply skip the entire "investigation" procedure. After arriving, Frank had spent half the night burning half the city where the governor lived to ash.

When he came back to report, Guilliman had suppressed his anger and asked why he had done it, and Frank's answer had been, "He was corrupted."
