Background / History

Qian Renxue is the daughter of former Martial Soul Hall Pope Qian Xunji and Bibi Dong, as well as Qian Daoliu's granddaughter. During her youth in Martial Soul City, she met Yuan Qi after Qian Xunji accepted him as a disciple. The two shared an unusually close companionship, spending time watching soul fights, sharing pastries, studying tea, and reading together. 16 17 31

After Qian Xunji's death, Qian Renxue was devastated. A Sky Screen memory shows Bibi Dong, affected by Rakshasa aura, attempting to attack her before Yuan Qi intervened and protected her. Qian Renxue later departed Martial Soul City to fulfill a mission connected to her father's final wish, leaving Yuan Qi behind. 18

She assumed the identity of Xue Qinghe, the Heaven Dou Crown Prince, to infiltrate the empire from within. As the Sky Screen's revelations spread, fragments of her apparent past with Yuan Qi began resurfacing in her mind, causing her to believe their shared history was real. 19 31
