Background / History

Shrek Academy has existed for more than twenty thousand years. Shrek City traces its origins to a dilapidated village from the Martial Soul Hall era, while the academy presents Tang San, Huo Yuhao, and Yun Ming as successive figures in its long legacy. 23 179

Ten thousand years ago, Shrek Academy, the Tang Sect, and the newly founded Spirit Pagoda coexisted in mutual reliance. Shrek City was expanded to accommodate the three powers, with the original city becoming the Inner City. 23

Relations with the Spirit Pagoda later collapsed. After the Spirit Pagoda's internal soul beast factions were purged, Shrek was pushed out; hostility worsened when Long Yeyue struck former Pagoda Master Qiangu Dieting. By the present era, the two organizations are described as irreconcilable enemies. 23
