"Wait here for me!"

Guy barked the order, and dark green steam erupted from his body.

Yamashiro Aoba stared at the massive bridge spanning the chasm, worry written all over his face.

"Guy's all alone..."

Ebisu shook his head hard.

His gaze behind his sunglasses was just as grave, but his voice held conviction.

"Trust Guy. He must have a reason for doing this."

"If we go after him, we might disrupt his plan or just get in his way."

They leaped to the top of the tallest nearby tree and fixed their eyes on Kannabi Bridge.

Kannabi Bridge was a stone arch bridge built between two sheer cliffs.

Far below it, a swift river ran through a seemingly bottomless gorge.

The bridge was broad and astonishingly long.

It was a vital route connecting the Land of Grass and the Land of Earth.

Guy made no attempt to conceal himself. He sprinted onto the bridge at full speed.
