Time passed day by day.

Guy devoted himself to training at the Fire Temple, and not much happened during that time.

Half a year later.

More than ten figures dressed in dark gray cloaks with hoods slowly appeared outside Konoha's gates.

"Konoha, I'm back again."

Guy looked at the familiar Hokage Rock and village gates, his gaze momentarily dazed.

It had been one year and three months since he left for the Fire Temple.

Now, he had returned to Konoha.

Because today was October 10th.

The day Naruto Uzumaki was born.

Guy tilted his head slightly and spoke in a low voice to the similarly dressed monks behind him.

"Once we enter Konoha, stay close to me. Do not wander around, and do not provoke conflict with anyone."

"We shall obey the Chief's decree."

The lead monk pressed his palms together and replied quietly, his voice steady.

There were twelve monks in total, all elites of the Fire Temple's Martial Monk Hall.

Guy had not originally intended to bring anyone with him when he left the Fire Temple and returned to Konoha.

But he told Abbot Huiyan that he felt uneasy.

He had a premonition that something major might happen in Konoha soon, so he intended to return and take a look.

After pondering it over, Huiyan had him bring several martial monks along in case of an emergency.

Guy hesitated for a moment before ultimately not refusing.

He carefully selected twelve martial monks with solid strength, each of whom had mastered at least one "Shaolin divine art."

They were all roughly at chunin level.

If the Nine-Tails Attack really broke out, they could indeed help.

At the very least, they could reduce some casualties.

Chiriku was not among them; Guy had left him behind to guard the Fire Temple.
