Guy fought Kirigakure after Black Zetsu framed him for Ao’s death, then became a rogue ninja and sought Orochimaru. After learning Lightning Division and draining the Eight-Headed Serpent with his Heavenly Dragon Mark, Guy captured Orochimaru and asked him to help complete his training.
Guy defeated Orochimaru’s summoned snakes, rescued Sakon and Ukon, and changed the Blood Pool Clan’s fate by exposing its leader and leading the clan out of Hell Valley. He helped Moyochi En establish Hidden Spirit Village and renamed the Blood Pool Clan the Yaksha Clan, then stunned the new settlers by cutting off a mountain summit.
Guy established the Yaksha Clan at Spirit Mountain, built Hidden Spirit Village, and clashed with Shisui over his plan to impose peace through Kotoamatsukami. After Shisui escaped, Guy strengthened his village and made contact with Obito, setting up cooperation with the Uchiha Clan.
Guy expanded Hidden Spirit Village by recruiting the Fūma Clan, then traveled through the Land of Wind and took Gaara and Yota under his care. He left the Wind Daimyo with a way to extend his life and new revelations about Sunagakure.
Might Guy built alliances and returned to Konoha, reconnecting with friends and arranging for several children to join Spirit Mountain. In the Land of Fire capital, he uncovered a coup against Daimyo En Kosei and intervened when Kazuma unleashed his son Sora’s Nine-Tails chakra.
Might Guy stopped Kumogakure’s attempt to abduct Hinata, learned the Eight Trigrams Palm, and gathered allies and children for his new home at Spirit Mountain. After helping Chiriku succeed Huiyan as abbot, Guy began assembling children to train as the Eighteen Arhats, leaving fourteen gathered and four more encounters ahead.
Guy strengthened Spirit Mountain, recruited Deidara and the Kamizuru Clan, and recovered the clan’s lost secret scroll from Ōnoki’s vault. The arc ended with Guy facing Ōnoki, Kitsuchi, and Akatsuchi after dodging Dust Release and appearing behind Ōnoki with a lightning strike aimed at him.
Guy recovered the Kamizuru Clan’s secret techniques and helped the clan rebuild its reputation before traveling to the Land of the Sea. There he saved Honoka, took Suigetsu and Jugo from Orochimaru, completed the Indestructible Vajra Body, and faced the arrival of Ryūchi Cave’s Three Elders.
