Background / History

Suzune begins her first day in Class D seated beside Ayanokoji Kiyotaka, reading Crime and Punishment. She refuses to participate in the class self-introductions and leaves the room, viewing them as unnecessary. When Satsu follows her, she openly states that she despises being seated between him and Ayanokoji due to her misunderstanding of their relationship. 2 3

Satsu’s handling of the Kuraku–Matsuyama conflict catches Suzune’s attention. After he reveals information that triggers their falling-out, she questions how he could know such specific details, but he refuses to explain his methods. 4 5

Personality

Suzune is intensely independent and dismissive of group-oriented socializing. She rejects Hirata’s class discussion without hesitation and considers many classmates unworthy of her attention.
