Background / History

Ten thousand years after Spirit Hall unifies Douluo Continent, Huo Yuhao is born as its new-generation Child of Fortune. When Douluo Continent and the Sun Moon Continent merge after a century-long conflict, he breaks the deadlock by founding the Spirit Pagoda, reconciling soul masters and soul beasts, and advancing the integration of Martial Souls with Soul Tool technology. 146

Huo Yuhao descends from both Yu Zhi, the Sea God, and Qian Renxue, the Angel God. His mother carried both divine bloodlines, but her cultivation was crippled while escaping internal conflict within the Spirit Hall Empire; she later married Dai Hao, suffered mistreatment in the Duke's residence, and died young. Huo Yuhao considers nobility a matter of “a pure and upright heart,” rather than bloodline. 161

As a Rank 99 Ultimate Douluo, he prepares for a final battle against Beast God Di Tian before ascending to the God Realm. He intends to defeat Di Tian rather than kill him, both to break the soul beast race's supreme symbol and to preserve his connection with Wang Qiu'er. 148 149

Huo Yuhao faces Di Tian with calm certainty, openly stating his confidence while remaining respectful toward Yu Zhi, whom he calls “Ancestor.” He is also deeply committed to reuniting with his mother and returning to his pregnant wife. 148

He is provocative in battle, repeatedly calling Di Tian “Father-in-law” and targeting the Beast God's loneliness to unsettle him. Despite this irreverence, he keeps his promise not to kill Di Tian and seeks a solution that does not deprive the soul beast race of its fortune. 149 159 168
