My palm felt empty, too—not like it used to. Maybe it was because I'd spent dozens of days resting with Android 18 in another world and gotten used to it.
When we reached Namek and got off the ship, I was stunned by how many people there were. There were over 300 people on this planet now. Before, there had been fewer than 100. I couldn't mistake those auras—there were definitely over 300 people. That meant the strongest aura had to be Biro's. All right, found him. Instant Transmission.
I appeared beside Biro in an instant. He looked a little bewildered.
System, what's Biro's power level now?
Answer: Host, approximately 35 million.
Damn, that's insane. This training is fucking insane.
What about Piccolo?
Piccolo's power level is close to 10 million.
That's insane, too. Piccolo's power level had increased dramatically after he fused with Kami.
In the original story, Piccolo's power level still couldn't match Son Goku's base form.
But after fusing with Kami, he became a little stronger than Son Goku as a Super Saiyan 1. Of course, Goku hadn't yet trained in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber at that point, but it was still incredible.
How have you been lately, Biro?
Pretty well. Mostly, I've been learning about Namekian customs and knowledge from Piccolo, Biro said.
Piccolo nodded as well.
Haven't you been training?
We have, but Piccolo's gotten the most out of it. He learned Kaio-ken. I can currently handle Kaio-ken up to twenty-five times. Piccolo's only up to ten times, like I was at first, Biro said calmly.
But to be honest, that's a little underwhelming. Piccolo, your student Son Gohan has a base power level of over 70 million now. In his Super Saiyan 2 form, his power level is already over 7 billion. Your power levels are starting to look pretty unimpressive.
"What?" Piccolo said, his face full of shock. He'd known Son Gohan had enormous potential, but he hadn't expected him to be this absurdly powerful.
Piccolo asked, "There's a Super Saiyan 2?"
"Of course. Saiyans have many transformations—more than you can imagine. Their power increases will get more and more ridiculous, too."
Piccolo was devastated. He'd already accepted that he couldn't catch up to Son Goku, but now he couldn't catch up to Son Gohan either. What's the point of working so hard at training?
"No, Piccolo. Son Goku's base power level is only 69 million, so he's currently weaker than Son Gohan. That means Son Gohan has already surpassed Son Goku."
"Just as I'd expect from someone I trained." Piccolo was delighted to hear that.
At that point, Biro asked, "So, Brother Wei Dong, what's your power level now?"
"My base power level is 120 million. In Super Saiyan 2, it goes up a bit—to 13.2 billion."
That's pretty low. No big deal.
Piccolo and Biro broke out in a cold sweat when they heard that.
"By the way, Brother Wei Dong, don't you have a Hyperbolic Time Chamber? If you're not using it, could you give it to us? You could leave it here on Namek. Piccolo and I still need to train hard. We've only just realized how huge the gap between our power levels is," Biro said.
"About that... I want to train, too. How about we all go in together? I don't have anything to do right now anyway, and I can teach you a few things while we're at it."
