But judging by the methods he'd used before and what he'd said in the Chat Group, it was obvious that his world was like the one from his previous life, where spiritual energy had returned and people could awaken talents.
And the talent he'd awakened was related to time and space. It was tremendously powerful.
As for Lin Qiye, after going through that battle, he'd joined the Night Watchers. His experiences had followed the original plot closely, and things had nearly progressed to the Snake Mother arc.
That was where the events involving the group members currently stood, according to He Lingxuan's notes. Since time flowed differently in each world when its residents weren't in the Chat Group, even though he'd spent more than half a year training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber,
at most, only a month or two had passed in the other worlds.
Seeing that none of the many group members were online, He Lingxuan left the Chat Group interface and began training where he stood.
He'd nearly adapted to the 10,000-times gravity back in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, but adapting to it still put him under considerable pressure. It could still speed up his training.
So He Lingxuan was considering asking Bulma to build him a Gravity Chamber. But since they weren't close and hadn't even met, he put the idea aside.
Besides, he'd already told Son Goku, that training fanatic, that a Gravity Chamber would be a huge help with training. Son Goku might not be very clever in other areas,
but when it came to training, he was far smarter than most people. He Lingxuan naturally figured he'd go to Bulma to build a Gravity Chamber, since she was the only scientist he knew who could make one.
So He Lingxuan planned to visit Son Goku in a few days and see whether he had a Gravity Chamber. If he did, He Lingxuan could ask him for a favor without it seeming out of the blue.
As for mooching off Bulma, He Lingxuan wasn't interested—not for now, at least.
That made having Son Goku ask on his behalf the best option.
He Lingxuan shook the sweat from his forehead. After training all night, he suddenly sensed something and looked toward the east.
"Raditz, huh? So, should I let him stay or not?"
He Lingxuan muttered to himself, then released his senses again to check the ki of Son Goku, Piccolo, and the other Z Fighters.
Their ki had all grown during this time, though not by much.
Son Goku and Piccolo had naturally improved the most, gaining a few hundred points of power apiece.
Piccolo was a little over 700, while Son Goku had already reached a power level of 800!
At that strength, though, they'd still be easy prey for Raditz—as long as he didn't get careless.
Of course, that was unlikely. So the original plot would probably still unfold, but with him here, none of those events would happen again.
As for the Spirit Bomb, it didn't matter whether he learned it or not. As long as his strength was sufficient, a technique that required others to contribute their power and took time to charge wasn't all that useful.
After all, he'd already taught Son Goku the Kaioken. He didn't know whether Son Goku had learned it, but if he had, even a single Kaioken multiplier would be enough to defeat Raditz.
After thinking it over, He Lingxuan decided he should go. Raditz wasn't actually that bad by nature—or at least, by Saiyan standards, he had a relatively decent temperament.
Even in the original story, all he wanted at first was for Son Goku to go with him. Later, when he saw his nephew had more potential, he tried to take Son Gohan instead. Then, caught off guard, he ended up dying alongside Son Goku.
All in all, if even someone like Vegeta could be redeemed, Raditz could be too. In terms of talent, Raditz was actually an Elite Warrior. He'd just been lazy over the years and barely trained at all, which was why his power level was only a little over 1,000. He'd had that power level even as a child.
And He Lingxuan was wondering: if Raditz became a Super Saiyan, would his long hair make him look like a Super Saiyan 3?
Haha, just thinking about it was amusing.
But if he wanted Raditz to turn over a new leaf, he'd have to give him a good beating first!
He'd let Son Goku and the others take him on first. Once they lost, He Lingxuan would step in and beat Raditz into submission. For Saiyans, apart from food, strength was what mattered most.
And Earth had both in abundance. It could be called the food planet of Universe 7. Just look at Beerus and Whis, the two supreme gods of the universe: even after eating some of Earth's most ordinary foods, they'd made those expressions.
That showed just how awful the food on other planets must be.
Getting stronger was even easier.
He could ask Shenron for a wish to get several more Gravity Bracelets, then ask Bulma to build a Gravity Chamber. Wouldn't a Saiyan's power level soar with all that?
Strength only needed to be sufficient. Take He Lingxuan, for example: his base power level had naturally grown to around 13.1 billion, so that was more than enough for him.
As he thought, He Lingxuan took off into the sky and flew east. After calculating where Raditz's spaceship would land with his powerful mental abilities, he waited nearby.
He looked up as a craft like a meteor hurtled down from the sky. It landed precisely where He Lingxuan's calculations had predicted!
There was a hum, followed by an explosion and a cloud of dust.
A deep crater appeared in a farmer's field.
Hearing the commotion, the farmer grabbed his shotgun, climbed into his little pickup, and drove to the crater. He cautiously walked up to its edge.
Once the smoke cleared, he saw a round machine. The farmer, unsure what it was, looked it over from every angle.
With a rumble, the hatch swung open. A muscular man with waist-length hair stepped out, a tail wrapped around his waist.
"So this is the planet Kakarot was sent to? The environment isn't bad."
Raditz surveyed his surroundings.
"I wonder if Kakarot's conquered this planet yet."
While Raditz was still thinking, a voice interrupted him.
"W-who are you?" the farmer stammered, pointing his gun at Raditz.
Raditz looked at him. The numbers on his scouter flickered before settling on five.
"Heh. So you're a weakling with a power level of only five, and you dare point a weapon at me?"
"Bang!"
The farmer jumped and accidentally pulled the trigger. A hot bullet cut through the air and shot toward Raditz.
Raditz casually caught it, squeezed it flat, and opened his hand.
Clink!
The flattened bullet fell to the ground. Raditz looked at the farmer with disdain.
"So this is the famous power level of five scene? Haha, seeing it in person really is more fun." He Lingxuan stood nearby, watching with a grin. He could sense that Son Goku and Piccolo were on their way.
