The Power of Majin Buu

"Nice to meet you, everyone in this world."

Buu greeted them like an old friend. If it weren't for the terrifying, overwhelming evil aura surrounding him, they might have thought they'd known him for years.

"Who are you?"

Vegeta couldn't help asking.

"This world?"

Piccolo caught the key phrase at once.

"Could he be from another world, like Gogito?"

Krillin asked in surprise.

"Piccolo in this world is sharp, too. That's right, I came here from another world."

Buu clapped his hands.

Then he pointed at Gogito and said,

"This is the only one here I don't recognize. He must be the Gogito Krillin mentioned—the guy who came from another world, just like me."

Buu looked at Gogito, a flicker of wariness passing through his eyes.

After absorbing Son Goku, Vegeta, and the others from that world, Buu's power had increased tremendously, and his perspective had expanded along with it. He could sense the immense energy hidden within Gogito. Even so, he was confident he could beat him. After all, he hadn't been beaten senseless by Vegito, and having absorbed so many people had sent his confidence through the roof. He feared no one.

"Majin Buu. This guy is Majin Buu."

Gogito told the others.

"???"

"Looks like you know me."

Buu was a little surprised and became even more wary of Gogito. This guy actually knew who he was?

"Majin Buu?"

Goku scratched his head.

"I feel like I've heard that name somewhere."

Goku thought hard. Then he suddenly clapped his hands and said,

"I remember now. I heard about him from King Kai. King Kai said that a long time ago, a demon who rampaged across the universe appeared. His name was Majin Buu. But no one knew what happened to him after that, and he disappeared."

"The egg beside him is the one that sealed Majin Buu. Its master feared Majin Buu's power, so he sealed him inside and hid him on Earth."

Gogito explained.

"Didn't I tell you before that Super Saiyan 3 wasn't invincible? That's right. Super Saiyan 3 can't beat the Buu standing before us."

Gogito said to Goku.

Goku could see the difference in their strength, too, and nodded.

"That's right. I'm invincible now."

Buu patted his chest, brimming with confidence.

"In my world, Son Gohan was stronger than Super Saiyan 3 Son Goku, too. I don't know what happened in your world, but Son Gohan is so weak here."

Buu pointed at Son Gohan.

"But no matter how strong you are, it won't matter. I'm invincible."

"What did you do to the rest of us in your world?"

Goku had a bad feeling.

"They're all in here."

Buu patted his belly.

"You absorbed them all?"

Gogito asked.

"Clever. After absorbing them, I discovered that one of them had memories of someone who could travel through time. So I used the Dragon Balls to open a passage through time and came here to find stronger opponents."

Buu explained how he had arrived.

"Then let me be your opponent!"

Vegeta pointed at Buu, full of confidence.

"You?"

Buu held out a hand and wagged a finger.

"No good. You're no match for me. You're always second best, and Son Goku hasn't even said a word yet. Don't go putting on a show."

Buu's words set Vegeta off. Vegeta transformed into a Super Saiyan and fired a blast straight at him, bringing down the entire mountain.

"Hey, Vegeta! Couldn't you give us a little warning?"

Goku called from midair.

Vegeta snorted without answering and continued his assault on Buu.

Vegeta appeared right in front of Buu and punched him in the face. Buu dodged with a slight tilt of his head. Vegeta attacked again and again, but Buu evaded every blow with ease.

Vegeta kicked, but Buu blocked it with one hand. Then Buu countered with a punch to Vegeta's stomach. Vegeta's eyes widened, and he spat up stomach acid. Buu followed with another punch, striking him in the face and sending him flying through several mountains before he crashed into a lake.

"Hmph. You actually dared to attack me with skills like that?"

Buu shook his head in disdain.

Underwater, Vegeta transformed into a Super Saiyan 3. The force of his aura blew all the water out of the lake, revealing him at the bottom.

Vegeta charged at Buu and threw a punch. Buu punched back. Their fists collided, and the force of the impact brought down the surrounding mountains.

The two continued fighting in midair, trading punches and kicks at incredible speed. They moved too fast for the eye to follow, and terrifying bolts of lightning erupted around them.

But Vegeta was no match for Buu. Before long, he was on the defensive, and Buu landed a heavy punch in his stomach.

Vegeta endured the blow and immediately counterattacked, but he still couldn't hit Buu. Buu's fists rained down on him like drops of water, each one landing solidly. Vegeta could only take the beating.

Buu drove a heavy kick into Vegeta's stomach.

"Urgh..."

Vegeta clutched his stomach. Buu grabbed him by the hair and aimed his other hand at Vegeta's face, gathering a blast of energy in his palm.

"Hmph. Pathetic."

Then a blinding light erupted, and Vegeta went flying.

Buu raised his hand and formed a giant energy ball, ready to finish him off. Goku couldn't sit back any longer. He transformed into a Super Saiyan 3 and charged in. Future Gohan transformed into a Super Saiyan 2 and followed him. The two attacked Buu from both sides, forcing him to drop the energy ball and deal with them.

Goku and Future Gohan attacked Buu from either side. Buu handled them with ease, dodging as he spoke.

"There's no point in both of you attacking me at once. You can't make up for the difference in strength with numbers."

Vegeta had just climbed out of the rubble when he saw Buu knock Goku flying in his direction. The two collided and slammed into the mountain behind them.

Buu sent Gohan flying with a single effortless punch, then unleashed Prince Tactics on Goku and Vegeta. A flurry of energy blasts brought down the mountain.

"Dad!!!"

Future Gohan and Trunks cried out.

"Goku!!!"

Krillin and the others watched with worried expressions.

They couldn't help at all in a fight of this magnitude.

Gogito, meanwhile, calmly watched the space above Buu.

Buu noticed, too. He looked up and saw Goku and Vegeta there, their clothes torn and their appearances disheveled.

"Instant Transmission,"

Buu said calmly.

Goku had used Instant Transmission to escape to a spot above Buu. If he'd been just a little slower, Buu's Prince Tactics might have left him seriously injured.

"In Son Goku's memories, there's a technique called Fusion that lets two people combine into one. I wonder if you in this world know how to use it."

Buu looked at Goku.

"You're too weak right now. You can't get me excited at all. Maybe the warrior you and Vegeta become when you fuse will be able to give me a real fight."
