Super Saiyan 4's Oppressive Aura

No matter which world Son Goku came from, he could never change the fact that he was a martial arts fanatic.

Although Goku in the Z era also pursued strength, he gave people the impression of a true master. During the Cell Saga, he urged Gohan to finish Cell quickly and not drive him into a corner where he might do something drastic. After dying, he gave up the chance to be revived for the sake of Earth's safety. Although he gave Cell a Senzu Bean, it was also to better showcase Gohan's power. To put it simply, he knew where to draw the line. During the Majin Buu Saga, he raised the next generation, passing the burden of protecting Earth down from one generation to the next.

But by the Super era, Goku had changed completely. He pursued power to an excessive degree, setting the Tournament of Power in motion. In the Moro Saga, Moro begged Goku for mercy, and Goku actually gave him the only Senzu Bean he had. That was just absurd. Did he really think he could handle the consequences? Helping him like that—if he wanted to show mercy, why not just give him some energy, like he did with the big guy? Instead, he had to make things harder for himself. If not for the divine power of the Grand Supreme Kai remaining inside Uub, Earth would've been screwed.

"As you wish."

Gogito stared at Gogeta and spoke slowly.

Gogito clenched his fists. The veins on his forehead bulged as terrifying power burst from within him, golden light flaring all around his body as he entered Super Saiyan 4 Form.

The oppressive aura of Super Saiyan 4 was immense. His long hair fell over his shoulders, his muscles brimmed with power, and his tail swayed freely. His fierce, ambitious figure left Goku No. 1 staring from afar in stunned amazement.

"Sugoi!!!"

Goku No. 1 exclaimed excitedly. His body was already itching for a fight.

Piccolo's face had gone pale with fright. He hadn't entered the Hyperbolic Time Chamber with Vegito and the others, so he had never seen this wild, primal form of Super Saiyan 4.

"I'm coming."

Gogito warned Gogeta.

Gogito's figure vanished in an instant,

"Nani??"

Gogeta's pupils contracted. He couldn't even see Gogito move before a kick sent him flying. While airborne, Gogeta hurriedly steadied himself and searched for Gogito's figure.

But before he could find him, he was knocked flying again. After taking several more hits in midair, Gogeta was slammed hard into the ground.

"Ultimate Kamehameha~~"

Gogito unleashed his ultimate attack, striking Gogeta directly. In the ruins, Gogeta raised both hands to block it, but there was no way he could hold it back. Fortunately, Gogito withdrew most of the attack's energy at the last moment, knocking Gogeta out of fusion.

Goku and Vegeta lay in the crater, gravely injured.

Gogito slowly landed and raised a hand, using healing magic. (I don't know whether Yardrats can use it, so I'll just say they can. After all, they can use amazing techniques like Instant Transmission and Forced Spirit Fission, so there's no reason they couldn't use a simple healing spell.) Goku and Vegeta instantly recovered.

"You really are amazing, Gogito!"

Goku praised him.

"Hmph. I'll transform like that sooner or later, too."

Vegeta still wore his usual proud expression.

Just then, the others flew over from a distance. After a brief exchange, they turned to Goku No. 1 and asked about what had happened in his world.

Goku No. 1 gave a brief account of how things had unfolded in their timeline. The two worlds had started to diverge with Frieza's invasion of Earth. In this timeline, because Trunks hadn't arrived in a Time Machine, the Androids had run rampant. Timeline No. 1 had followed the original story, except that things had taken a turn during the Majin Buu Saga. Vegeta had been absorbed by Majin Buu, and that man had never appeared. All the warriors had been absorbed. If Majin Buu hadn't come looking for trouble, Timeline No. 1 really would have fallen under his control.

"Let's head back to West City first. They're probably getting worried over there. We can talk more once we're back."

"You go on ahead. I'll take care of Majin Buu's egg and that Fat Buu."

With that, Gogito flew away.

Meanwhile, Goku took the group back to West City using Instant Transmission.

Gogito found Majin Buu's egg amid a field of ruins. Since Babidi hadn't cast his spell, Majin Buu hadn't absorbed any energy. Otherwise, after Gogito and Gogeta's earlier battle, Majin Buu would have already broken out of his shell.

"What should I do with it?"

Gogito was a little troubled. Majin Buu was only around Super Saiyan 3 level, so he wouldn't be of much help to Gogito.

"Maybe I should take him back to my timeline. Buu's healing magic would be a big help at that point in time, and he could protect Tights's family, too. Not bad, not bad."

Gogito nodded, talking to himself.

Next, Gogito searched around for Fat Buu, and found him under a pile of rubble. Gogito decided not to take this Fat Buu. After all, he and Satan were very close, and Gogito already had a Buu of his own. He wasn't about to steal him away.

Then Gogito carried Fat Buu back to the egg. He wasn't planning to let Majin Buu out just yet. He would take him back and let Bulma here study him, then take him to Dr. Brief in his original timeline for further research. That way, they could make the most of his value before letting him out.

And so, Gogito returned to West City with the two Buus.

Everyone who had been absorbed had woken up. They sat around the dining table, devouring food like crazy and leaving the servers standing nearby utterly bewildered. Were these people starving ghosts or something? How could they eat so much?!

"Yo, everyone's here."

Gogito sat down and started eating, too. A fight had worked up his appetite.

"Clack~"

"Clack~"

"Clack~"

Before long, a mountain of plates had piled up in front of Gogito.

"Woohoo~ I'm stuffed."

As soon as Gogito finished eating, Goku No. 1 hurried over, followed by Vegeta No. 1, Gohan No. 1, and the two kids. There was no need to ask—they all wanted to see Super Saiyan 4.

"Um, Gogito, what was that form of yours? Is it a new Saiyan transformation?"

Goku No. 1 got straight to the point.

Earlier, Goku No. 1 had learned from Goku that only Gogito could use that transformation, and they didn't know much about it. Goku had suggested that Goku No. 1 ask Gogito himself. Vegeta No. 1 had overheard them, and the two kids also wanted to see the wild transformation Goku No. 1 had described, so they had all come along.

"Okay, okay. I'll show you."

Gogito was in a good mood after his meal, so he agreed to their request.

The group headed outside to an open area.

"You already know the transformations before Super Saiyan, so I won't go over those. Super Saiyan 4 is a transformation I achieved by drawing out the power of my tail."

As he spoke, Gogito flicked his tail behind him.

"Super Saiyan 4!!"

The people from Timeline No. 1 and Piccolo were shocked, while everyone else, having seen it already, remained remarkably calm.

Bulma and Tights, however, looked utterly unimpressed. They didn't understand fighting or how to sense energy. They thought it was just a change in hair color. What was so impressive about that?

Future Bulma didn't see it that way. The stronger, the better. After enduring so much hardship, she naturally had the foresight to think ahead.

Gogito clenched both fists. Golden light flared around him as his body bulked up, transforming into Super Saiyan 4.

Bulma, who had seemed bored just moments ago, instantly widened her eyes. Tights was equally astonished.
