Supreme Kai

Tights said with a hint of pride, "He's mine, after all. What's wrong with feeling a little proud?"

Bulma curiously poked the fur on Gogito's arm.

"It's real!!!"

Bulma had thought it was some kind of clothing, like a sweater. She hadn't expected it to be real fur, and couldn't help exclaiming in amazement.

The two little ones were curious too, hopping around Gogito. Little Goten even grabbed Gogito's tail.

But Gogito didn't show any signs of losing his strength, the way Saiyans did when someone grabbed their tails.

That didn't make sense.

The two Kongbei looked confused. When a Saiyan's tail was grabbed, their whole body went limp, but Gogito didn't seem affected at all.

Vegito could see their confusion and explained,

"I've trained my tail before, and after turning Super Saiyan 4, it no longer has that weakness."

"All right, I've shown you what I needed to. Now, what are you planning to do?"

Gogito returned to normal, grabbed the two mischievous little ones beside him, and asked the people from Timeline No. 1.

"We're going to make a wish to Shenron and return to our own timeline. Then Goku will go to Namek and borrow the Namekians' Dragon Balls to restore Earth."

Piccolo No. 1 had already made a plan.

After Piccolo had been revived earlier, the Dragon Balls had revived too. Goku and the others had gathered them and planned to wish for their tails to grow back so they could transform into Super Saiyan 4. Now they would have to let the others use the Dragon Balls first and wait a year. If they couldn't wait, they could go to Namek instead; the Dragon Balls there would be ready to use in just over three months, much sooner than Earth's.

Then Future Bulma took out the Dragon Balls for Goku No. 1 and the others to use.

"Take this guy with you, too."

Gogito said as he carried Fat Buu over and handed him to Goku No. 1.

"You can deal with him yourselves."

"This guy is!!!"

"Majin Buu!!!"

Everyone from Timeline No. 1 immediately went on guard.

"Don't worry. This Buu's personality is similar to the Grand Supreme Kai's. He's the good part of Majin Buu. I've already destroyed the evil part."

Gogito explained. Piccolo No. 1 then told them about Buu's relationship with Satan, and said he thought they could take this Buu back with them.

Vegeta No. 1 still didn't want to let Fat Buu live and insisted on killing him. Only after Goku No. 1 tried hard to talk him around did he barely agree.

"Come forth, Shenron!!!"

The sky darkened as Shenron appeared again for the first time in many years.

"Those who summoned me, state your wish. Whatever it may be, I can grant it."

"Please send us back to our own timeline."

The people from Timeline No. 1 made their wish to Shenron.

"That wish is very easy to grant."

"Duan~"

Shenron's eyes glowed red, and a space-time vortex appeared in an empty area nearby.

"Your wish has been granted."

"Farewell, then."

With that, Shenron disappeared. The seven Dragon Balls flew into the sky, ready to scatter, but Gogito seized the opportunity and intercepted them.

After landing, Gogito handed the Dragon Balls, now turned to stone, to Future Bulma and said,

"Put them away. Then you won't have to go searching for them again in a year."

"Well, goodbye, everyone."

The people from Timeline No. 1 were ready to leave. They still had plenty to take care of back home, so they wouldn't stay here any longer.

"Goodbye."

"Goodbye."

The people from Timeline No. 1 entered the space-time vortex one after another and returned to their own world.

Meanwhile, in the Sacred World of the Kai

"This is terrible, Supreme Kai! Majin Buu is missing!!!"

"What!!!"

East Supreme Kai Shin was utterly shocked. He hurriedly grabbed Kibito by the hand and asked in agitation,

"What happened? Why would Majin Buu be missing?"

"I don't know either. When I arrived on Earth, it was nothing but ruins. The egg that sealed Majin Buu had disappeared as well."

Kibito told him everything he had seen on Earth.

"Damn it, how could this happen?"

East Supreme Kai Shin looked terrified. He thought Majin Buu had broken through the seal.

"Let's go to Earth at once."

"All right."

Earth

Gogito was lounging in a beach chair, watching Goku and Vegeta spar in front of him and occasionally offering a few pointers. A pile of fruit sat nearby. Life was sweet.

Suddenly, Gogito sensed something and got up to stop Goku and Vegeta's sparring.

"Someone's coming. Let's stop for now."

"Hm?"

The two Saiyans looked at Gogito in confusion. Gogito had noticed Kibito when he went to Earth to check on Majin Buu, but hadn't paid him any attention. He knew that once East Supreme Kai Shin learned the sealing egg was missing, he would come to Earth to find out what had happened.

"They're here."

East Supreme Kai Shin and Kibito flew over from a distance. They had found this place by sensing the energy released while Goku and Vegeta sparred.

Goku was as friendly as ever and went up to greet them.

"Hey, how's it going?"

"Hello."

East Supreme Kai Shin politely returned the greeting, then began asking about the egg that had sealed Majin Buu. At first, he had thought Majin Buu had broken through the seal, but then he reconsidered: if Majin Buu had gotten out, Earth would already have been destroyed.

As far as he could sense, Goku and Vegeta were the strongest people on Earth, but they still weren't a match for Majin Buu. They couldn't possibly have destroyed him, so he asked them about it.

"So you're looking for the egg Gogito brought back that day? But why do you want it? Are you planning to study it too?"

Goku asked curiously.

"What? So you took it?"

East Supreme Kai Shin and Kibito felt relieved. So the egg had been found and taken away by someone on Earth.

"Then where is it now?"

"We want to take it with us."

East Supreme Kai Shin was eager to get it into his own hands.

"You don't need to worry about that. I'll take care of it."

Gogito waved a hand, turning down East Supreme Kai's request.

"You bastard—"

Kibito was about to speak, but East Supreme Kai Shin silenced him with a look.

"Please give me a reason."

"A reason?"

"Majin Buu is only around the level of Super Saiyan 3, at most. It's just his immortal body and his white magic that are a little troublesome."

"Goku should be able to destroy Majin Buu if he uses his full power."

"You want a reason? I guess he's easy to take care of and obedient, so he's good for guarding the house."

There was nothing wrong with Gogito's reasoning, but Supreme Kai Shin didn't see it that way. The horror of Majin Buu was etched deep in his memory, after all.

"Impossible! How could anyone defeat Majin Buu?!"

Kibito roared.

"Why not? Then again, with how weak you are, I can see why you couldn't beat Majin Buu."

"The gods' power is so insignificant."

"I'm right, aren't I, Supreme Kai?"

Gogito said something that left East Supreme Kai Shin and Kibito stunned.
