"Supreme Kai?"
"I think I heard King Kai mention it when I was training with him."
Goku tried hard to recall what he knew about the Supreme Kai.
"That's right, the Supreme Kai."
"At the top of the universe's gods are two deities."
"The Supreme Kai governs life and creation."
"The God of Destruction governs destruction and annihilation."
"But this guy was only made Supreme Kai by circumstance. He knows nothing about his duties and has Majin Buu on the brain."
As Gogito spoke, he shook his head.
It wasn't really his fault. The Grand Supreme Kai had been absorbed by Buu and hadn't had time to leave any instructions. The other Supreme Kais had either been absorbed or killed, leaving the youngest and most clueless rookie to take over.
"How could the Supreme Kai be as weak as you say? Someone like Frieza, the emperor of the universe, could be dealt with by the Supreme Kai with a single finger."
Kibito shouted at Gogito, clearly displeased with what he'd said.
"Who couldn't casually wipe out a little nobody like Frieza?"
Vegeta replied disdainfully.
Goku had picked up on the key point: the God of Destruction.
"The God of Destruction?"
"Is this guy you're talking about strong, Gogito?"
"With my current level of power, I can't beat him."
Gogito shrugged. The God of Destruction was an opponent who could only be challenged by someone able to transform into Super Saiyan Blue or use Ultra Instinct.
Goku immediately perked up. Just how strong was someone even Gogito admitted he couldn't beat?
Seeing Goku's expression, Gogito hurriedly cut him off.
"He's not someone you can deal with at your current level. Besides, I've only heard of him. Don't ask me about him."
"Hey!"
"Don't ignore me!"
Kibito was furious. These people had no respect for the Supreme Kai. They were chatting and laughing right in front of him, as if he didn't exist.
"Anyway, I'm not letting you take Majin Buu."
After saying that, Gogito left to go have some fun with Tights.
East Supreme Kai Shin still wanted to say something, but Goku stopped him.
"All right, all right, Supreme Kai. It's just Majin Buu. Gogito already defeated one before. That guy was strong, but it's not like he couldn't be beaten."
"???"
"There's another Buu?"
"And he was defeated?"
The two of them were utterly shocked.
Goku gave them a rough account of what had happened before.
After hearing Goku's explanation, the Supreme Kai and Kibito finally believed him, though they still looked incredulous.
"Well, sorry to have bothered you. We'll take our leave."
East Supreme Kai Shin and Kibito departed. With the looming threat taken care of, they felt as if they could finally breathe easy.
Gogito enjoyed a few more days of peaceful, carefree living.
Gogito and the others prepared to return. With Bulma's help, Future Bulma had successfully built a Time Machine.
"We're off. See you!"

With that, the group set off through the time tunnel, returning to their original timeline.
Just then, the Supreme Kai and Kibito used Instant Transmission to arrive on Earth.
"Mr. Goku."
"Supreme Kai."
Goku replied warmly.
"I've come to ask Mr. Goku for help."
East Supreme Kai Shin had spent the past few days trying to eliminate Babidi, but he hadn't expected Babidi to have enslaved Demon King Dabura. With no other choice, East Supreme Kai Shin had come to Earth to ask for help.
East Supreme Kai Shin gave them a rough explanation of the situation.
"If we don't destroy him, he'll eventually come to Earth."
"No problem."
Goku agreed readily. He wanted to meet the powerful fighters of the universe.
"Vegeta, Gohan, Trunks, are you coming?"
Vegeta answered first.
"No. I'm going to train. I'll become a Super Saiyan 4 before you do, Kakarot."
Vegeta wasn't interested in that sort of opponent. He left as soon as he'd finished speaking.
Gohan and Trunks both wanted to go. They couldn't let someone like that come to Earth. After all, the Androids crisis had only just passed, and Earth had been peaceful for only a few days.
"Grab my shoulders, please. We're leaving now."
Goku, Gohan, and Trunks placed their hands on Kibito's shoulders, and Kibito used Instant Transmission to take them to an unknown planet.
"That's amazing. I didn't know you could use Instant Transmission too."
Goku patted Kibito on the shoulder.
"It took me a lot of effort to learn that technique!"
"Of course."
As the Supreme Kai's servant, how could he be useless? He had some powerful abilities of his own.
East Supreme Kai Shin interrupted them.
"Babidi's spaceship is over there. He's used magic to control many evil people. He's determined to revive Majin Buu."
"Like his father, Babidi has an evil heart. He's already destroyed many planets. We have to eliminate him before he can cause any more harm to the universe."
Trunks couldn't sit still after hearing that. There was no way he'd let someone like that come to Earth. He transformed into a Super Saiyan at once.
"Let me handle it. We can't let someone this evil come to Earth and wreak havoc."
A huge amount of energy gathered in his hands, and he fired a blast toward Babidi's spaceship.
"Boom~~~"
The terrifying power destroyed Babidi's spaceship in an instant.
"Damn it!!!"
"Who's there?!"
A demon-like figure protecting a short, yellow-skinned man flew out of the smoke. Everyone else aboard the spaceship had died from Trunks's attack.
"You again, Supreme Kai!!!"
"And you brought helpers!"
"This time, I'll kill you!"
Babidi glared furiously at the Supreme Kai, looking utterly disheveled. If a look could kill, he would've killed him hundreds of times over.
East Supreme Kai Shin smiled, as if to say, "Babidi, it's been a while. What happened to you? You've gotten so pathetic."
"Dabura, kill them all! Hurry!"
Babidi was furious and shouted at Dabura.
"Yes, Lord Babidi."
Dabura didn't waste time talking. He sprang into action and charged straight at Trunks, throwing a punch at him.
Goku teleported in front of Trunks and crossed his arms to block the blow.
"Trunks, leave this guy to me."
Trunks nodded, then turned his attention to Babidi. He would stamp out this potential threat before it could grow.
The moment Babidi saw Trunks looking at him, he panicked and turned to flee. But how could he outrun Trunks? Trunks caught up in an instant, cut him in half with his sword, then blasted him into space dust with an energy wave.
As soon as Babidi died, Dabura, who had been under his control, came to his senses. In that instant, Goku seized the opportunity to punch him in the face, sending him flying into a distant boulder.
"Ka~me~ha~me~ha!"
One Kamehameha sent Dabura to join Babidi, so he'd have a companion on the road to the afterlife.
