Super Four and New Mission

Goku and Vegeta found Gogito in the restaurant. Gogito was eating, and upon seeing them rush in, he offered a greeting.

"Yo, back so soon?"

"Nothing much to do, so we came back."

"I heard from Piccolo that you have a transformation called Super Saiyan 4?"

Goku pulled up a chair to sit beside Gogito and posed his question.

"Piccolo said your appearance changes drastically—red fur covering your upper body, your hair grows longer but stays black, and your eye sockets turn red. It sounds incredible!"

Goku grew more excited as he spoke.

"Super Saiyan 4!!"

Gogito pulled out a napkin to wipe his mouth, leaned back in his chair, and looked at Goku and Vegeta.

"That's right. I can transform into Super Saiyan 4, and the power of Super Saiyan 4 is truly immense."

"Then how do you transform?"

Vegeta couldn't wait; he was determined to transform before Kakarot.

Gogito, however, countered:

"We've known each other for so long—haven't you noticed anything different about me?"

Goku and Vegeta fell into deep thought. Hmm? What's different? We're both Saiyans.

They had known Gogito for a long time and had never seen him transform. His base power was far stronger than theirs, and his movements—Goku and Vegeta still couldn't figure them out. They would feel like they were about to land a hit, only for him to dodge the next instant. It felt completely different from anyone else.

Wait, Saiyan? Vegeta realized: Gogito had a tail!

Vegeta's eyes snapped open as he declared:

"It's the tail. Gogito has a tail."

Usually, Gogito kept his tail wrapped around his waist, making it easy to overlook. Goku and Vegeta hadn't paid it any mind, but now, prompted by Gogito, Vegeta instantly remembered that the tail was unique to Saiyans, allowing them to turn into a Great Ape under a full moon. Thinking of this, Vegeta had an inkling about Super Saiyan 4. If that was the case, he would definitely stay ahead of Kakarot this time.

At the thought, the corners of Vegeta's mouth curled upward uncontrollably.

"So it's the tail!"

Goku scratched his head. He had been thinking for a long time but couldn't come up with anything; the tail didn't leave much of an impression on him.

Seeing the smirk on Vegeta's face, Gogito guessed that Vegeta had likely deduced the method for the Super Saiyan 4 transformation.

"That's right, it's the tail. Super Saiyan 4 is achieved by transforming into a Golden Great Ape while in the Super Saiyan state and regaining one's reason. It is a super evolution that combines both reason and wild instinct, possessing the power of a Great Ape along with speed that a Great Ape lacks."

"You could say Super Saiyan 4 is the most perfect form—it possesses power, speed, reason, and wildness. Furthermore, the Super Saiyan 4 body is incredibly robust and capable of absorbing energy, provided it doesn't exceed the body's limits."

"Like Super Saiyan 2 and Full Power Super Saiyan, it's a transformation best suited for combat. Unlike Super Saiyan 3, it doesn't carry such a heavy burden. The difference is that Super Saiyan 4 is far more powerful; it's on an entirely different dimension."

"Wow! That's amazing!!"

Hearing Gogito's explanation, Goku clenched his fists in excitement, itching to transform into Super Saiyan 4 immediately. However, Vegeta poured a bucket of cold water on him.

"Don't forget, Kakarot, you're just a low-class warrior. If you transform into a Great Ape, you'll lose your mind. But I, as the Prince, will not lose my reason when transforming into a Great Ape. That is the difference between you and me. Kakarot, I'm one step ahead this time, hahahaha!!"

Vegeta laughed triumphantly, as if he already had Kakarot under his heel.

Goku didn't mind Vegeta's taunts at all. As long as he could get stronger, he didn't care. He'd just spend more time on it; as long as he could reach Super Saiyan 4, he would be able to catch up to Vegeta.

"Alright, alright, you two—you don't even have tails yet, what are you dreaming about?"

Gogito interrupted Vegeta's delusions and Goku's excitement.

"Hurry up and figure out how to grow your tails back!"

"That's easy. We'll just ask Shenron to help us grow them back," Goku said casually.

With that, the two of them grabbed the Dragon Radar and headed out to search for the Dragon Balls.

Just then, Broly arrived to eat, accompanied by Android 18 and their daughter. No one knew when those two had hooked up, but they had clearly taken a liking to each other. Krillin was crying in the bathroom.

Over the years, Android 18 had become best friends with Tights and Bulma—naturally, under the influence of Bulma and Tights' "money power."

Android 17 and Android 16 weren't used to such a lively atmosphere and chose to become rangers at a wildlife sanctuary.

Just like in the original story, Android 17 married an animal researcher; the couple had one child and adopted two more.

Android 16 was a pure robot built from scratch; he had no way to marry and no desire to, so he stayed with Android 17 to protect nature.

Sigh! Those poachers were in for a miserable time; if they ran into Android 16 and Android 17, they were basically wiped out.

Android 18 and Broly also had a child, a daughter named Lily.

"Ding!"

"Task triggered: Save Android 17."

"Task details: In the GT Timeline, Android 17, unable to find the value of his own existence, eventually falls under the bewitchment of Dr. Gero and Dr. Myuu, causing chaos on Earth once more. During this time, he kills Krillin and injures Android 18, ultimately choosing to die at Goku's hands when his own emotions gain the upper hand."

"Task reward: Base power doubled."

A new task, huh? Ever since the last task ended, Gogito hadn't received any new ones. He had actually started to think the system had run out of money and shut down!

This time it was the GT Timeline's GT Android 17. That version of him was a pitiful soul who, after all these years, could never find a purpose for his existence. He felt completely out of place with everyone; his sister had married that short, bald man and started a family of her own, leaving her younger brother behind. Meanwhile, his big brother, Android 16, had long since perished. Everyone else had been resurrected, yet only his big brother, Android 16, remained dead forever.

With Son Goku and the others around on Earth, he could not act as he pleased, and his life had lost all meaning.

The GT Android 17 was like a lost youth, unsure of which path he should take.

And so, under the manipulation of Dr. Gero, he gladly accepted control and went mad once again, his original mission being to kill Son Goku.

Upon seeing the short, bald man who had stolen away his sister—his only emotional anchor—he struck him down without hesitation, ending his life. He then attempted to persuade his sister to join them, but having spent years mingling with Earthlings, she refused. Yet, he could not allow her to interfere with their plans, so he wounded her, rendering her unable to act.

After the Fusion, those meddlesome Saiyan were no longer his match. He indulged in destruction and slaughter, attempting to fill the void in his heart, but he felt not a shred of joy. It was like wanting to buy something for a long time but lacking the money; then, the day you finally have the funds to purchase it, you realize it was nothing special and quickly lose interest.
