Inside the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, Gogito was sparring with Piccolo, while in a distant location, there was another Gogito.
Having spent half a year training on Planet Yardrat, Gogito had mastered his energy control to perfection and learned a variety of techniques; he had sent a clone to train Piccolo while his main body prepared to attempt the transformation into a Super Saiyan 4 once again.
Gogito flew at full speed far away from the exit of the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, stopping only when the exit was no longer in sight. He wasn't worried about finding his way back; as long as Piccolo and his clone remained, he could use Instant Transmission to return to the exit, or at the very least, simply shatter space with his power to break out.
Gogito raised his hand, and an Artificial Moon instantly appeared. He tossed it into the sky, where its blinding light illuminated the land, and soon after, a massive figure emerged.
Gogito transformed into a Golden Great Ape, and a terrifying aura radiated outward, shattering the very space around him.
Outside Kami's Lookout, golden light suddenly appeared in the surrounding space, followed by the space itself fracturing as a terrifying aura surged out from within, causing the entire Earth to tremble.
"What is happening???"
The group waiting outside the door stumbled and swayed, calling out in confusion.
People in the cities fled in all directions.
"Run for your lives!!!"
"The end of the world is here!!!"
"The Earth is going to be destroyed!!!"
Inside the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, Piccolo was pinned to the ground by this aura, unable to move.
"This terrifying power... is it Gogito?"
Piccolo said with great difficulty. At this moment, Gogito's clone helped Piccolo block the impact and said, "My main body is attempting to transform into a Super Saiyan 4."
"Super Saiyan 4? What is that?"
At this stage, Piccolo could not yet comprehend it.
"You don't understand it now, so you surely wouldn't know. You will find out in the future."
Gogito's clone revealed a mysterious smile.
Before long, the aura vanished, and Gogito's clone stroked his chin, saying, "Did he fail again??"
The next moment, a red figure suddenly appeared behind him.
"I succeeded."
Gogito's clone turned around to see the Super Saiyan 4 Gogito standing there, with black shoulder-length hair, red-rimmed eyes, a torso covered in red fur, and a red tail swaying freely, exuding an aura of wild ferocity.
Piccolo stood up at this time.
"What is this? A transformation? And what was that terrifying aura from just now?"
"This is Super Saiyan 4. The commotion just now was caused by the transformation,"
Gogito replied.
Outside the door, Krillin and the others spoke.
"The shaking has stopped."
Krillin stood up and said, "What could it be? Could the Saiyans have arrived?"
"Impossible, they aren't due for another half a year."
Krillin immediately refuted the idea.
"Is it possible that Gogito caused it? We have yet to see just how strong he really is."
Tien Shinhan analyzed calmly.
"The source of the tremors was Kami's Lookout; only Gogito has that kind of capability."
Tien Shinhan added, "Let's ask him when Gogito comes out."
"That's all we can do, I suppose,"
Krillin replied.
The people on Earth felt the tremors cease and calmed down.
"So it was just an earthquake!"
"I thought the end of the world had come!"
"Yeah, yeah!"
Inside the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.
Over three months had passed. During this time, under the guidance of Gogito, Piccolo had made rapid progress, his combat power breaking ten thousand and surpassing Son Goku.
"Let's go, Piccolo. Your strength has hit a bottleneck; it will be hard to improve further in the short term."
Gogito and Piccolo exited the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. The moment they stepped out, Piccolo's immense ki was sensed by Krillin and the others.
"Such powerful ki!"
"They've only been in there for a few hours. How did Piccolo change so much?"
"Is training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber really that effective?"
The group discussed it among themselves.
Gogito was perfectly composed, while Piccolo's clothes were in tatters—a stark contrast.
"Who wants to go in next?"
"Tien Shinhan and Chiaotzu should go first."
Krillin said, "There's still plenty of time left, no need to rush."
Tien Shinhan and Chiaotzu walked straight inside.
"By the way, that terrifying aura from before—was that caused by you, Gogito?"
Krillin still felt a lingering fear just thinking about it.
Piccolo answered for him directly, "That was caused by Gogito attempting to transform into a Super Saiyan 4 inside."
"Super Saiyan 4?"
Krillin voiced the same confusion.
"It's a type of Saiyan transformation," Gogito explained. "You'll see it for yourselves in the future."
"I'm heading off. I've been in there for three months; I'm sick of the bland food."
With that, he used Instant Transmission and returned to West City.
Gogito found Tights and asked her to prepare some food for him.
At the dining table, Gogito said to Tights, "In a few days, I plan to take Gohan and Chi-Chi to a parallel timeline so he can see a hellish world."
Gogito gave Tights a rough summary of that desperate future world.
"Do parallel timelines really exist?"
Tights asked with a hint of doubt; after all, even someone as learned as Dr. Brief hadn't reached any conclusions on the matter, so she remained skeptical.
"You'll know once we get there."
In that world, Dr. Brief and his wife were both dead, leaving only Bulma struggling to hold on, and Gohan eventually died in battle as well.
Only a one-armed Gohan could make Chi-Chi realize the importance of strength.
"Get ready. In that world, humanity is on the brink of extinction. Prepare some supplies; they will definitely be needed."
"Also, ask Bulma if she wants to go," Gogito said while eating.
He would spend the next few days at Kami's Lookout guiding the others to improve their strength further; otherwise, if they all died like in the original timeline, it would be very troublesome.
A few days later, at Kami's Lookout, Krillin, Tien Shinhan, and the others had all undergone Gogito's training, their strength advancing by leaps and bounds—far stronger than in the original timeline.
In the original story, when the Saiyans arrived on Earth, Krillin's full power was 1,770, Yamcha's was 1,480, Chiaotzu's was 810, Tien Shinhan's was 1,830, and Piccolo's was 3,500.
After Gogito's training, Krillin's combat power was 4,650, Yamcha's was 3,830, Chiaotzu's was 2,270, Tien Shinhan's was 5,050, and Piccolo's reached a staggering 10,000.
Not bad at all; they could handle Nappa and Vegeta now.
"Your current strength is enough to deal with Vegeta and Nappa, but you must still be careful. Vegeta's power is still greater than yours. Try to stall him as much as possible and leave him to Son Goku."
Before leaving, Gogito warned them that if Vegeta were pushed too far, he could still kill them before Son Goku arrived.
"Continue your training on your own. Practice your coordination more; it's very useful when the gap in combat power isn't too large. Especially the Solar Flare and the Destructo Disc—they have unexpected effects."
Gogito offered a final piece of advice.
