Super Saiyan 4

Inside the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, Gogito was fighting Piccolo. Meanwhile, far away, there was another Gogito.

Gogito had spent half a year learning on Planet Yardrat. He had long since mastered control over his energy and learned most of the techniques. He sent a clone to train Piccolo while his real body prepared to try transforming into Super Saiyan 4 again.

Gogito flew at full speed away from the Hyperbolic Time Chamber's exit, going farther and farther until it was out of sight. He wasn't worried about losing his way back. As long as Piccolo and his clone were still there, he could use Instant Transmission to return to the exit. And if all else failed, he could simply break through space with his strength and leave that way.

Gogito raised a hand, and an Artificial Moon appeared in an instant. He tossed it into the sky. Its dazzling light shone across the land, and then a gigantic figure appeared.

Gogito transformed into a Golden Great Ape. His terrifying aura poured out, shattering space around him.

Outside Kami's Lookout, golden light suddenly appeared in the surrounding space. Then space shattered, and a terrifying aura erupted from within. The entire Earth shook.

"What happened???"

The group waiting outside staggered and swayed, voicing their confusion.

People fled in every direction across the cities.

"Run!!!"

"The end of the world is here!!!"

"Earth is going to be destroyed!!!"

Inside the Hyperbolic Time Chamber,

Piccolo was crushed to the ground by the aura, unable to move.

"This terrifying power... Is it Gogito?"

Piccolo asked with difficulty. Gogito's clone shielded him from the shock wave and said,

"My real body is trying to transform into Super Saiyan 4."

"Super Saiyan 4? What's that?"

Piccolo couldn't understand it at this point.

"You don't understand it yet, so of course you don't know. You'll find out in the future."

Gogito's clone gave a mysterious smile.

Before long, the aura vanished. Gogito's clone stroked his chin and said,

"Did he fail again??"

The next moment, a red figure suddenly appeared behind him.

"He succeeded."

Gogito's clone turned around. Super Saiyan 4 Gogito stood there, with shoulder-length black hair, red around his eyes, red fur covering his upper body, and a red tail swaying freely. He radiated a wild aura.

Piccolo got to his feet as well.

"What is this? A transformation? And what was that terrifying aura just now?"

"This is Super Saiyan 4. That commotion was caused by the transformation."

Gogito replied.

Outside, Krillin and the others—

"The shaking stopped."

Krillin got to his feet and said,

"What happened? Could the Saiyans have arrived?"

"Impossible. They won't get here for another six months."

Krillin immediately objected.

"Could Gogito have caused it? We still haven't seen how strong he really is."

Tien Shinhan analyzed the situation calmly.

"The shaking came from Kami's Lookout. Only Gogito could have done something like that."

Tien Shinhan continued,

"We'll ask him when he comes out."

"That's all we can do."

Krillin replied.

Back on Earth,

When people felt the shaking stop, they all calmed down.

"So it was just an earthquake!"

"I thought the end of the world had come!"

"Yeah, exactly!"

Inside the Hyperbolic Time Chamber,

More than three months had passed. During this time, with Gogito's guidance, Piccolo had made tremendous progress. His power level had broken ten thousand, surpassing Goku's.

"Let's go, Piccolo. You've reached a bottleneck in your strength, and it'll be hard to improve much in a short time."

Gogito and Piccolo left the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. As soon as they stepped outside, Krillin and the others sensed Piccolo's powerful ki.

"Such powerful ki!"

"It's only been a few hours. How did Piccolo change so much?"

"Is training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber really that effective?"

The group discussed it among themselves.

Gogito's clothes were still in perfect condition, while Piccolo's were tattered—a striking contrast.

"Who wants to go in first?"

"Tien Shinhan and Chiaotzu can go first,"

Krillin said.

"We still have plenty of time, so there's no rush."

Tien Shinhan and Chiaotzu went inside.

"By the way, Gogito, was that terrifying aura earlier caused by you?"

Krillin still shuddered when he thought about it.

Piccolo answered before Gogito could.

"That was Gogito trying to transform into Super Saiyan 4 inside."

"Super Saiyan 4?"

Krillin asked, just as puzzled.

"It's a kind of transformation for Saiyans,"

Gogito explained.

"You'll see it for yourselves someday."

"I'm heading out. I've been in there for three months, and I'm starving."

With that, he used Instant Transmission and returned to West City.

Gogito found Tights and asked her to prepare some food for him.

At the dining table, Gogito said to Tights,

"In a few days, I'm planning to take Gohan and Chi-Chi to a parallel timeline and show Gohan a world like Hell."

Gogito gave Tights a rough account of the hopeless future.

"Do parallel timelines really exist?"

Tights asked, slightly doubtful. Even someone as knowledgeable as Dr. Brief hadn't managed to find any evidence, so she still wasn't convinced.

"You'll find out when we get there."

In that world, Dr. Brief and his wife had both died, leaving only Bulma to struggle on. Gohan had eventually fallen in battle, too.

Only by seeing Gohan with one arm could Chi-Chi realize how important strength was.

"Be prepared. Humanity is on the verge of extinction in that world. Get some supplies together; we'll definitely need them."

"Also, ask Bulma if she wants to come."

Gogito said as he ate.

Over the next few days, he would go to Kami's Lookout and train the others. If they could get a little stronger, all the better. Otherwise, they might all die just like they did in the original story, and that would be a real hassle.

A few days later, at Kami's Lookout, Krillin, Tien Shinhan, and the others had all trained under Gogito and made tremendous progress. They were all much stronger than they had been in the original story.

In the original story, when the Saiyans arrived on Earth, Krillin's power level at full strength was 1,770, Yamcha's was 1,480, Chiaotzu's was 810, Tien Shinhan's was 1,830, and Piccolo's was 3,500.

After training under Gogito, Krillin's power level was 4,650, Yamcha's was 3,830, Chiaotzu's was 2,270, Tien Shinhan's was 5,050, and Piccolo's had reached a staggering 10,000.

Not bad at all. They could handle Nappa and Vegeta now.

"With the strength you have now, you should be able to handle Vegeta and Nappa. Still, be careful. Vegeta is stronger than you, so try to keep him occupied. Leave him to Son Goku."

Gogito reminded them before he left. If they made Vegeta lose his temper, he could still kill them all before Goku arrived.

"From now on, train on your own. Practice working together; it'll be useful when there isn't much difference between your power levels. Solar Flare and Destructo Disc in particular can catch your enemies off guard."

Gogito offered a few suggestions.
