Normally, the aura of a deity is impossible for an ordinary person to perceive, but Louis seemed to be able to sense this presence due to his "Immunity."
This is because the aura of a deity naturally exerts a sense of oppression upon mortals; it is the pressure belonging to a superior being.
And this type of oppression itself falls under the category of negative effects.
"Speak of the devil, and he shall appear!"
If Louis's guess was correct, it must be the God of Destruction Beerus and his attendant who had descended upon Planet Vegeta.
It was precisely after this day that the fate of Planet Vegeta would be altered forever.
The fate of Planet Vegeta and the Saiyan race was a matter for another time; right now, Louis only wanted to see Beerus. If he could do that, he would successfully complete the sign-in and obtain the Rudimentary Autonomous State.
The more Louis thought about it, the more excited he became.
In order to complete the sign-in mission, Louis walked out of his room and headed toward the palace of King Vegeta.
Along the way, the surrounding architecture was filled with an industrial atmosphere, and Louis soon arrived in front of a palace.
The palace was massive, and two Saiyans stood guard at the gate atop the stairs.
Louis walked up.
"Louis, King Vegeta has issued an order: no one is permitted to enter the palace," the two guards stepped forward and said.
"I have an urgent matter to discuss with King Vegeta!" Louis walked up the stairs, his voice sounding youthful.
"No, King Vegeta has given instructions that no one is to enter."
"I must go in; it concerns the fate of our Saiyan race!"
Louis widened his eyes and told a tall tale. In truth, he had no interest in this wicked Saiyan race, but it seemed this was the only excuse he could use to get inside the palace.
According to his Scouter, the two guards in front of him possessed a power level of 1200.
They were both adult Saiyans, so it was no surprise they had such high combat power.
Louis only had a combat power of 500, and being in his childhood years, forcing his way in was impossible.
Louis spoke with such sincerity that it left the two guards stunned.
Was it true or false?
In their eyes, Louis was still just a child; what could he possibly know about the fate of the Saiyans?
But an ordinary Saiyan would never joke about such a thing, especially since Louis was an upper-class warrior in whom much hope was placed.
"Fine, I will go report this. You wait here," one of the guards said, turning to walk into the palace.
"This is urgent. I'm going in first; I will explain it to King Vegeta myself," Louis said, walking directly past the guard.
If I let you go in and report, would I still have a chance to see Beerus?
Louis overtook the guard, moving at a brisk pace.
"Wait..."
The guard tried to stop him.
"Forget it. He's an upper-class warrior; we can't afford to offend him. Don't worry about it. If there's any punishment, it'll fall on him. Besides, I have a feeling that what Louis said might be true."
Louis did not hear the conversation between the guards behind him. He walked down the corridor and soon arrived inside the palace.
Red carpets, light fixtures...
The interior of the palace was magnificent.
"King Vegeta, do you dare to deceive me?"
"Lord Beerus, I would never! The pillow I gave you is the very best."
"You still dare to quibble!"
A cold, icy voice echoed throughout the palace, filled with killing intent that caused the temperature of the hall to plummet.
A young boy in the corner trembled as he watched his father being trampled into the ground.
"King Vegeta, you have disappointed me..."
Beerus stepped heavily on King Vegeta's head, then suddenly frowned slightly and looked up.
Whis, standing to the side, also shifted his gaze to the palace entrance, where a child had appeared.
The child blinked his round eyes, his tail swaying incessantly behind him.
"Louis? What are you doing here? Get out!"
King Vegeta, pinned to the ground, could not help but regret his actions. Why had he defied the will of the God of Destruction?
Now it was done; Beerus must be furious.
And now that Louis, an upper-class warrior of the race, had appeared here, if Louis provoked Beerus any further, Planet Vegeta would truly be finished.
However, King Vegeta suddenly noticed that Beerus had gone still.
At this moment, Beerus was staring intently at the small figure at the entrance, his brow furrowing deeper and deeper.
How strange!
Why does this little fellow dare to look me in the eye?
Beerus glanced at Vegeta in the corner again, who was slumped on the ground, trembling uncontrollably.
Shouldn't that little fellow be just like King Vegeta's son?
Whis was equally shocked; he had seen through Louis's strength at a glance. How could a mortal so weak he could explode be able to ignore the pressure of a higher status?
In fact, angels have already reached the state of returning to simplicity and do not exert status-based pressure on mortals.
But a God of Destruction is different; they cannot achieve what an angel can and will always unconsciously radiate the oppressive aura of a superior.
When ordinary people see a God of Destruction, the mildest reaction is to collapse to the ground, while the severe ones lose control of their bowels.
Just as Beerus and Whis were feeling puzzled.
[Ding!]
[Sign-in in front of Beerus successful. Reward: Rudimentary Autonomous State!]
Hum!
The palace, previously filled with killing intent, was suddenly permeated by an ethereal aura, like the sound of flowing springs, dissipating the cold murderous intent entirely.
BOOM--!
Seeing this, Beerus and Whis were struck as if by a divine thunderbolt, their eyes widening in utter, crispy-on-the-outside-tender-on-the-inside shock.
"Ultra Instinct?"
"No, that's not Ultra Instinct!"
"It is merely a Rudimentary Autonomous State, let alone the ultimate mastery!"
"However, how could this little fellow comprehend such a realm?"
Ultra Instinct is actually two realms: one called Autonomous, and one called Instinct!
These two realms are highly complex, but there is no doubt that this is not something an ordinary person can comprehend.
Compared to Beerus, Whis found it even more unbelievable.
As an angel, he naturally knew the difficulty of comprehending the Autonomous State.
Yet, this little fellow had inexplicably broken through to this realm; just thinking about it felt impossible.
"Louis, get out, get out of here right now!"
At this moment, King Vegeta tried to make Louis leave quickly before he could provoke Beerus any further.
"Shut your mouth. Do you believe I'll destroy you if you speak again?"
Beerus moved his foot away from King Vegeta's head and said coldly. He walked forward, with Whis following closely behind.
