At that moment, a battered figure climbed out of the crater in the ground.
"I... I knew the legend of the Super Saiyan was real, but this is so infuriating!!!"
Vegeta lay on the ground, looking up at the golden figure in the sky, his heart heavy with bitterness.
He was the Saiyan Prince. Why was a Low-Class Warrior the one who could transform into the legendary Saiyan?!
Bardock quickly flew back through the air and returned to Son Goku's side.
"Ka... Kakarot, is... is this your Super Saiyan form?" Bardock stammered, too excited to speak properly.
King Vegeta and the others flew over as well, gazing at Son Goku with yearning.
Son Goku hovered in the air, unmoved, his whole body radiating an ominous aura.
His icy gaze swept over everyone.
"Gulp!"
Everyone swallowed, then took a few steps back under the pressure of Son Goku's overwhelming presence.
Why did Son Goku seem like a completely different person?
"Haha, this is the Super Saiyan form Louis told us about. I don't know either. You can take a look and see for yourselves."
Before fighting Vegeta, Son Goku had been trying to transform into a Super Saiyan.
He had tried nonstop for two months, but still hadn't succeeded.
Today, while sparring with Vegeta, the thought had crossed his mind, and somehow he'd transformed.
As in the anime, Son Goku had been unable to transform again after his first time.
Only after training for a while had he managed to transform successfully.
Son Goku chuckled.
His smile instantly dispelled the evil aura around him.
Everyone finally relaxed. It was mainly that icy look in Son Goku's eyes just now—it had been so sinister that it made their scalps tingle.
"Exactly!!!"
King Vegeta flew beside Son Goku, looking him up and down. The more he looked, the more excited he became.
"That's it! This is the form!!!!"
Bardock went right up and felt around his son.
Golden hair and blue eyes!
"Hahaha, Kakarot, you really weren't lying!!!"
Bardock was absolutely thrilled. Who could have imagined that the legend passed down through their clan would come true in his son?
Just then!
Vegeta flew up from the ground and hurriedly asked, "Kakarot, how strong are you now?"
He'd just been struck by a punch so powerful that it had nearly killed him on the spot. Luckily, Son Goku had pulled his punch at the last moment.
"I feel like I'm about ten times stronger than when I use the 10-fold Kaioken."
Son Goku counted on his fingers and grinned.
Ten times stronger than the Kaioken's 10-fold boost!!
Good grief!
Everyone's eyes widened. They had no idea Son Goku was such a "math genius."
"Kakarot, hurry up and teach me! Teach me how to transform!!"
Vegeta could no longer cling to his pride. He set it aside and begged Son Goku.
Suddenly, the air fell deathly silent.
Bardock and the others had never seen Vegeta act like this before. He was the arrogant Prince Vegeta, after all.
King Vegeta especially knew his son's personality well.
Yet now, for the sake of transforming into a Super Saiyan, he was actually groveling!!!
As everyone stared as if they'd seen a ghost—
"What are you talking about?"
A voice rang out.
Everyone turned around sharply.
A man dressed in a God of Destruction's clothes had appeared beside them, holding a woman in his arms.
"Louis, you're back!!!"
Son Goku was thrilled. He went over to Louis. "Look, I can finally transform into a Super Saiyan again!"
Holding Tights, Louis understood what Son Goku meant.
"Not bad. You've mastered the transformation technique in just two months."
Son Goku's talent was undeniably impressive. If Louis hadn't had a system, it would have taken him longer to master the Super Saiyan transformation than it had taken Son Goku.
Hearing Louis's words, Bardock seemed to realize something. He asked tentatively, "Louis, can you transform into a Super Saiyan too?"
Louis had never transformed into a Super Saiyan in front of them, so Son Goku and the others stared intently at him.
"Of course!"
Whoosh!
Louis's hair turned golden in an instant, and his whole body radiated the same ominous aura as Son Goku's.
Tights, in his arms, saw this and her eyes lit up.
The same hair color as hers!
So handsome!
"You... you can do it too!!"
Vegeta's mouth hung wide open. He knew Louis was definitely powerful; otherwise, he wouldn't have become a Candidate God of Destruction.
But the Super Saiyan was a legend of the Saiyan race!
There had never been a Super Saiyan before, so how had two appeared all of a sudden?!
Fortunately, Louis was an Elite Warrior and a Candidate God of Destruction, so Vegeta could accept that he was able to transform.
But why could Son Goku, a Low-Class Warrior, transform too?!
This was so infuriating!!
Everyone was shocked by Louis's display.
"Louis, please teach me how to transform into a Super Saiyan!" Vegeta said.
At Vegeta's words, Bardock and the others also came to their senses.
"Louis, please teach us how to transform into Super Saiyans!!"
If they could all become Super Saiyans, the Saiyan race would be invincible in the universe!
King Vegeta and Bardock understood this very well.
"Son Goku can teach you. Just ask him. I don't have that much time."
Louis looked at King Vegeta and the others. "You've been away from Galactic Patrol Headquarters for a long time, too. Your people are waiting for you. It's about time you went back."
That was right!
They had been on Earth for two months, and including the time spent traveling to Namek, it had been almost half a year.
"Then we'll head back. As for the Super Saiyan..."
"Once Son Goku learns Instant Transmission like I have, he can come find you whenever he wants."
Louis glanced at King Vegeta and said coolly, "Frieza is dead. His subordinates are no longer a threat."
"I'll say it again: I won't get involved in Saiyan affairs. Whatever becomes of your race has nothing to do with me. I'm a Candidate God of Destruction!"
Louis's voice was a little cold, but no one took offense.
They already knew what had happened.
Louis was a Candidate God of Destruction!
The real God of Destruction had originally wanted to wipe out the Saiyan race. It was only because of Louis that the Saiyans had been allowed to survive.
And a Candidate God of Destruction had to follow the will of the real God of Destruction.
Louis couldn't interfere too much in mortal affairs. They couldn't blame him for that.
"It's hard to believe that Frieza, Emperor of the Universe, died at the hands of us Saiyans. It feels like a dream."
King Vegeta said with a sigh, "Who would've thought the legend of the Saiyans was true?"
