Gravity Chamber

Dr. Brief had become the world's richest man in just a few short years, thanks to the sudden success of Hoi-Poi Capsules.

The mansion of the world's richest man was truly enormous. The grounds before them covered tens of thousands of acres and were divided into various areas, including the residential area, the work area, and the R&D Zone.

At the center stood a hemispherical villa, surrounded by all kinds of lovely green plants. Every so often, an intelligent robot could be seen moving along the paths.

Looking at the luxurious grounds, Kasso couldn't help but sigh. In his previous life, countless young people had borrowed money and taken out loans just to buy a home in a major city. They didn't mind paying it off for decades.

And that was just for a tiny apartment of barely a hundred square meters. It couldn't compare to this mansion at all.

Thankfully, his parents had left him an apartment building back then, and the rent had been enough to keep him fed and comfortable.

But now that he'd been transported to another world, what was the point of dwelling on all that?

Kasso came back to himself and pressed the doorbell. Through the intercom at the entrance, he explained that he was the person who had visited that morning.

The two of them waited.

"Big Brother Kasso, will there be something tasty to eat soon?" Ausbie's eyes widened as she licked her lips.

"Little girl, all you think about is food. Have you been training hard lately?"

"I've been working hard! I'm going to protect you, Big Brother Kasso."

"Hahahaha!"

Kasso patted Ausbie's little head.

The little girl really had been working hard over the past month. On Planet Sadala, she would sneak out to train before dawn and wouldn't come back even after night had fallen.

Kasso had seen all her effort.

As far as Kasso could tell, Little Biel's power level had already reached 2,500, surpassing that of most Saiyans.

When Bardock saw Ausbie's power level, his jaw had dropped. He'd even said, "Just as you'd expect from an Elite Warrior."

Apart from her love of food, there wasn't much else to Ausbie.

Oh, right. She also liked sticking close to him.

Kasso smiled as he thought about it.

Suddenly, the mansion's entrance began to open.

A blonde beauty with long, wavy hair appeared in the doorway.

She had a curvy figure and fair skin, and wore a short skirt. Her long, pale legs and flawless complexion seemed to shimmer in the light.

Kasso couldn't help swallowing.

"Huh? Why are there two little kids here?"

Tights looked a little puzzled. Her family had told her that someone had robbed their shop, and that a passing martial artist had helped them get their goods back.

She'd assumed that powerful martial artists were all old men.

So why were these two little brats here?

They did look pretty cute, though.

"Hello. I'm here to see Dr. Brief."

Kasso recognized the young woman at a glance. Wasn't she Bulma's older sister, Tights?

Tights had given up her comfortable life to become a science fiction writer. She'd left home and worked odd jobs to experience life. But the novels she wrote were utterly terrible—every book she published flopped, just like Kasso's own writing.

So Tights hadn't left home yet. And she hadn't cut her hair short.

Hmm...

Long hair really does look better!

"Are you the martial artist who helped us get our Hoi-Poi Capsules back?" Tights asked, leading the two children inside.

"Mm!" Kasso nodded.

"I heard the robbers were carrying machine guns. You're amazing, little guy!"

Tights knew that Earth was home to plenty of powerful martial artists, and these two children might well be the students of some famous martial artist.

That would explain why they were so strong.

Looking at the little boy, Tights seemed to find inspiration for her novel. She chattered away, asking him question after question.

She asked if Kasso knew the Palm Strike from the Heavens.

She asked if he was a once-in-a-thousand-years martial arts prodigy with extraordinary natural gifts, which was why those senior martial artists had taken him on as a student.

Kasso was speechless. Tights was so pretty. Why did she talk so much?

And besides, he wasn't a little guy!

Ausbie, standing beside him, paid Tights no mind. She was only thinking about the tasty food they might get later.

After walking for a while, they finally reached the Briefs' house, and Tights stopped asking all those strange questions.

Just then, a young girl's voice rang out.

"You're the martial artist?"

Bulma?

Kasso paused for a moment, then nodded.

Looking at Bulma, he saw that she was about the same height as Little Biel, just over a meter tall. Her hair was pale blue, and her chubby little face made her look like a doll.

Kasso compared her with Little Biel in his mind.

Hmm...

His Little Biel was still cuter!

Just then, a couple came out. They were Dr. Brief and his wife.

Dr. Brief was still fairly young, and Kasso couldn't help feeling a little awkward. He hadn't expected him to be so handsome when he was young.

No wonder he'd had two beauties like Tights and Bulma.

Mrs. Brief covered her rosy lips with one hand and smiled. "What adorable little children!"

Then she crouched down and patted Kasso and Ausbie on the head.

Briefs hadn't expected that the person who helped them get their Hoi-Poi Capsules back would be a little kid.

He asked with interest, "What do you need from me, little friend?"

Kasso pushed Mrs. Brief's soft, pale hand away with a disgruntled look. Why was everyone in this family so strange?

"I'd like to ask Dr. Brief to help me build something."

"What is it?" Briefs asked curiously.

This little fellow had helped his shop out of a jam, so making something for him shouldn't be a problem.

Tights and Bulma stood off to the side as well, watching Kasso and wondering what the little brat wanted.

Kasso quickly explained the Gravity Chamber, saying that it only needed to reach a hundred times Earth's gravity.

In the Namek Saga, Goku had trained at a hundred times gravity. After a month, he'd gone straight from a power level of 8,000 to 90,000!

Although Goku had Senzu Beans and the protagonist's halo on his side, there was no denying that a Gravity Chamber was incredibly effective for Saiyans.

Later, Vegeta trained in a Gravity Chamber too, and his strength improved visibly.

So, given the Saiyans' current strength, a hundred-times-gravity chamber would be more than enough for them to use for a long time.

"A Gravity Chamber?"

Briefs rubbed his chin and thought for a moment before replying, "That shouldn't be a problem. Come back in a month to pick it up."

Hearing that, Kasso jumped up excitedly.

Since arriving in the Dragon Ball World, he hadn't felt many strong emotions. Apart from when he'd first arrived in this world and when the Grand Elder had unlocked his potential on Namek, he'd hardly been moved at all.

Even when Planet Vegeta had exploded, he'd watched it all as if he were just a passerby.

Now that he could finally get a Gravity Chamber, Kasso could see hope of increasing his power level again. He couldn't help getting excited.

Once he had Senzu Beans too, he'd be able to do everything Kakarot had done. He was an Elite Warrior, after all!

Ausbie stared blankly at her big brother, wondering why he was so excited.

Tights and Bulma, meanwhile, stared at Kasso in shock.

He... he...

Had he just jumped onto the roof?

The ground was more than ten meters below it!

Could a normal human really do that?

Tights and Bulma exchanged a glance. So this little guy really was that strong.

Mrs. Brief smiled with her eyes narrowed. "You're amazing, little guy!"

Dr. Brief remained perfectly calm, as if he'd seen it all before.
