Goku was the first to charge at Rego. The instant he rushed forward, Goku transformed into Super Saiyan 2 at full power. He knew Rego's strength was extraordinary. Over the past year, Goku and Rego had fought countless times, yet not once had he forced Rego to transform. Today, Goku wanted to force out Rego's transformation. He hoped Rego could transform and fight him just once, but every time, he had been instantly defeated by Rego.
Watching Goku charge toward him, Rego formed an energy sphere in his hand and hurled it straight at Goku. Just as it neared Goku, Goku swatted it away with a casual wave of his hand. But in that brief instant, Rego had already flashed to Goku's side and sent him flying with a sweeping kick.
With a loud bang, Goku's body slammed viciously into the ground. The earth instantly cracked apart, and his body sank into the dirt.
Over on Vegeta's side, Vegeta also transformed into Super Saiyan 2 at full power. He immediately launched a frenzied barrage at Broly.
