Gaino made his move. He threw a punch that landed squarely on Laiya's stomach, sending her stumbling. Laiya tried to seize the opening and swung at him, but once again, she hit nothing but air.

Laiya sensed everything around her, but suddenly, a sweeping kick struck her calf, catching her off guard. Then, her stomach, waist, chin, and arms were struck in succession, yet every one of her own attacks missed.

"I quit, I quit! No matter how I fight, I can't hit Brother Gaino. This is just a waste of energy!"

Gaino walked up to Laiya and said, "Laiya, how was that? Your brother is still your brother, right? Even though your battle power is higher than mine, if you can't hit me, it's like hitting a sponge with a hammer—all that effort is for nothing."

"Brother Gaino, I clearly hit you every time! Why were they all just your afterimages?"
